Speedy deletion nomination of Jason Agnew
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Jason Agnew requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Dipankan001 (talk) 15:30, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

Request reason:
The account has not been used abusively, and has not posted any abusive content. Kindly remove the block, or at the very least provide explicit evidence as to how I have violated community standards / abused any other users or pages.
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yunshui 雲水 08:52, 20 February 2018 (UTC)

Request reason:
Thank you for the explanation - I had no idea I was blocked for that (something I had to look up, for the record). I will state categorically that I have one, and only one account, which nobody else has access to. I have previously accessed it from work, which could explain the IP address issues, however I have never shared the account information with anybody and have now also changed the password to ensure security. Granted, I haven't been the most active poster, but last I checked there was not minimum requirement as to how often you posted/edited, so I don't understand why that definitively categorized me as a sock poppet. I thought I was blocked because of specific content edits, which at the time looked to be somewhat of a back and forth free for all in the pages I was looking at. Happy to provide any further information you may need.
Decline reason:
Multiple instances of sockpuppetry confirmed by multiple admins at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Soulspinr/Archive. Yamla (talk) 15:13, 21 June 2018 (UTC)

Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Soulspinr, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Request reason:
I'm not a freaking sock puppet! This isn't an instance of doing it by accident, because I simply did not DO it! I don't even know how you ID a sock puppet.
Is it by IP address? Did it occur to anyone maybe I'm using a library or public wifi? This was a hotly discussed political item, I'm sure there were thousands of edits.
Decline reason:
IP addresses are part of it, but not all of it. And yes, there likely were many edits - but it's quite a coincidence when someone is able to find behavioural evidence that subsequently gets backed up by technical evidence. Usually the same article doesn't get edited in the same way by a half-dozen independent people who just happen to all use the same public wifi or library (which is it?).
