Hello, Sridharsana. I noticed that your recent edit to Women's Indian Premier League added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request that someone else upload it. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 08:23, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Adding plain flag templates and non-notable staff members to cricket team pages is disruptive. We have a template which adds the name of the national team and which you've been asked multiple times to use rather than a bare flag. MOS:FLAGS has been pointed out to you, as has MOS:COLOUR. Please read them and stop changing templates. Blue Square Thing (talk) 08:05, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Women's Premier League (cricket). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Flags and cricket tables
[edit]Hello.
I've reverted some edits you made earlier today (my time) which changed the {{cr|IND}} template to a {{flagon|IND}}}}. This is because the cr template adds text after the flag - which happens to be a link to the relevant national cricket team. MOS:FLAGS says clearly that "Words as the primary means of communication should be given greater precedence over flags" - there's an argument we shouldn't even be using flags in these tables, but if we are them having the words there is really important. As MOS:FLAGS goes on to say, it's possible for users to disable flags so that they never see them. By using the flagon template, you'd end up with a blank column with no idea of the person's nationality. By using the cr template, we'd still have the text.
There are also accessibility concerns about using images, and only images, to represent something.
Does that make sense? Let me know if you need me to expand on it. Blue Square Thing (talk) 19:15, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hello again. You left a message on my user talk page which suggested you hadn't read the message above. Please make sure you read MOS:FLAGS - there are a variety of reasons why flags without any text are inappropriate in the way that you've been adding them. Please stop doing that until you've read MOS:FLAGS and, if necessary, had a conversation about it with people.
- Take your time, read it through and try to understand why I've reverted your edits in the first instance. Then we'll talk about anything that you're not clear about.
- Can I check whether or not you've read the MOS I've pointed out above?
- This is important.
- Your edits are now becoming disruptive.
- Please read and stop introducing plain flags without text now. Blue Square Thing (talk) 16:48, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
- It would probably be a good idea to reply here to show us that you understand the problem. Blue Square Thing (talk) 17:18, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
- Don't waste your time, this is a sockpuppet. Spike 'em (talk) 13:41, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, I very nearly tagged you in on something when I saw a word that looked vaguely familiar on the user page as I'd vaguely seen you had issues with them previously. Thanks for confirming it. Blue Square Thing (talk) 14:08, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

Links to draft articles
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to GMR Group. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:02, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Mumbai Indians Women's, you may be blocked from editing. Use wp:Articles for Creation. Do not create articles in this manner without citations, body, etc. Adakiko (talk) 12:40, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of "Capri Global"
[edit]Capri Global, a page you created, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is very short and provides little or no context.

However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content, or remove the speedy deletion tag from the page. You can contest the deletion by clicking the "Contest this speedy deletion" button inside the speedy deletion tag. Speedy deletion nomination of Women's Premier League (cricket)
[edit]Hello Sridharsana,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Raydann, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Women's Premier League (cricket), for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Women's Indian Premier League. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Raydann}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!
