Speedy deletion of Fahad Mustafa[edit]

A tag has been placed on Fahad Mustafa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. List of Pakistani models[edit]

Please do not add entries to a Wikipedia list, as you did at List of Pakistani models until the page for such an entry exists (and has not been deleted due to lack of notability). Such lists in Wikipedia are not intended to list EVERY possible member of the category, but only such members as already have Wikipedia pages. May 2009[edit]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to User:Saberliger1/Mehreen Raheel. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Eugene Krabs (talk) 03:27, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Ameer Zeb Khan[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ameer Zeb Khan, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

looks to fail WP:BIO. The first source doesn't assert notability, and the second looks to be a blog post.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. A tag has been placed on Meesha Shafi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Shadowlynk (Talk) 23:28, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Meesha Shafi, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. AnturiaethwrTalk 00:46, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Formal warning adding non-notables[edit]

Please change your editing practices.

1) You are adding a large amount of material about non-notables. For example [1], and dozens of changes to List of Pakistani models [2] 2) You never give references. This is contrary to WP:V, information that is questioned by others (as it obviously has been above on this page) especially needs a reference so that it can be checked. 3) You never provide an "Edit summary" explaining why you have made an edit.

Wikipedia is a community that is governed by the rule and guidelines of the Wikimedia Foundation. If you cannot follow those guidelines, it may be considered vandalism. Persistent vandals are blocked from editing. Piano non troppo (talk) 06:48, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Sweetgirl1965! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 6 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 943 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
