Hi Tedius, thanks for all your contributions so far. Just a reminder - Wikipedia is not a dictionary. I think your article Intermission may be better placed at Wiktionary. Angela

Happy 24th birthday, Tedius! I see you're a fellow 1979 cohort and member of the Bittersweet Generation. Wiwaxia 03:45, 9 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Hi there,

Do you know if the scores you metnion on the film score page are synthesized or natural?

Thanks

Contradiction in your beliefs

Isn't it a bit strange to be against censorship, yet you insist that all women should act and look a certain way. Strange.

I am specifically against media censorship. Media censorship and fashion notions are not equal to each other. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 18:17, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
His is actually a pisspoor version of the wrong argument. A better one would be how are you able to feel "The government should not be allowed to regulate the actions of people unless those actions impinge on the rights of others" and yet women should not have short hair or wear pants? Are women simply creatures without rights, nothing more than inhuman monsters?

Nintendo

Hi Tedius,

I removed an earlier bit on the name of Nintendo, but I see that you've restored it. The reason I removed it is that it is trivial, not relevant to anything in the article, and an tedious restatement of Japanese pronunciation and transliteration rules that would be in every single Japanese-related entry if some contributors had their way.

In addition, what you wrote is incorrect:

"The Hiragana spelling is Nintendou, for the o in Nintendo is lengthened in Japanese. The company name is rarely spelled Nintendou in English."

1) The hiragana spelling of the company name in Japanese is にんてんどう。 "Nintendou" is a romaji transliteration of にんてんどう.

2) The company name expressed in Roman characters is Nintendo, and that's the name of the company (not 任天堂) outside of Japan. Anything else in incorrect and is not worth mentioning.

Anyone who cares enough about the romaji representation of 任天堂 probably knows enough about Japanese that they don't need to be told about it here.

Reverse Piracy

As a heads up, Reverse Piracy, which appears to be one of your articles, has been listed for deletion. You may want to go debate the matter. Or not. Snowspinner 21:19, 19 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Abbreviation Confusion

I've never heard anyone use "FFu" for Fatal Fury. For the first three games, either the name is used as a whole or the Japanese Garou Densetsu is used. First Contact is "FFFC", Fatal Fury Special is "FFS", and the rest of the games have "FF" omitted from its abbreviation (eg. RB1). Garou - Mark of the Wolves uses MOTW for its abbreviation.

In fighting game circles, it's commonplace (where I roam, anyways) to use "FFA" to denote Final Fantasy - FF refers to Fatal Fury in SNK forums and Final Fight in Capcom forums. kelvSYC 13:27, 27 May 2004 (UTC)

Dragon Quest

Strange things are happening at Dragon Quest. An anon has deleted most of the section "Regional record". Because the same IP also makes seemingly worthwhile contributions to the article, and i know nothing about the topic whatsoever, i didn't dare to revert. Because you too have contributed to the article recently, i thought it might be a good idea to bring that to your attention. Article Licensing

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 1000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:

To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk) 19:10, Dec 8, 2004 (UTC)

List of people involved in working on the Final Fantasy series

Tedius, I've posted a rather lengthy... well... diatribe over on the talk page of the above article. Seeing as how the page seems to be your "baby," I wanted to get your input, and give you a chance to address some of my concerns, if you are so inclined. – Seancdaug 00:02, Apr 19, 2005 (UTC)

I created that page, because I surely feel that a list of notable people cannot be handled in the main Final Fantasy article. – Tedius Zanarukando 13:35, Apr 19, 2005 (EST)

Looking for help on a major wiki project

Hey man... I was wondering if you'd be interesting in helping out with www.Knowmore.org, a corporation search wiki we're trying to get off the ground. We could DEFINATELY use some people that know how to make a wiki community great & the site is almost a blank slate at this point. It's been heavily customized and is designed to help responsible consumers enter any product or company name and immediatly find information about that co. (the main focus of the wiki is corporate & political information in a much more specialized way then wikipedia currently offers) Let me know if you're interested! aim: knowmoreorg or bernard@knowmore.org

Redirects

If you make changes like the one on Flo Hyman, I suggest you also either move the article to the new name or make a redirect page like I did now (Flora Jean Hyman). Redirects not only help users find pages, they also decrease the likelihood of duplicate pages that have to be merged later. Rl 07:58, 30 May 2005 (UTC)

I often make redirects, especially when it comes to alternate names or common misspellings. I also do redirects based on Japanese transcriptions of video game titles and Japanese names of Japanese games released to North America or Europe. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 08:02, 30 May 2005 (UTC)

lots of edits, not an admin

Hi - I made a list of users who've been around long enough to have made lots of edits but aren't admins. If you're at all interested in becoming an admin, can you please add an '*' immediately before your name in this list? I've suggested folks nominating someone might want to puruse this list, although there is certainly no guarantee anyone will ever look at it. Thanks. -- Rick Block (talk) 17:33, Jun 26, 2005 (UTC)

I personally think that Tedius Zanarukando deserves to be an admin. He makes a large amount of edits, but he writes in an extremely tedious manner (look at his userpage for an example) and has not once contributed something worthwhile to a non-videogame related topic. Also, his personal views on women are scary, not to mention wrong for this day and age. Basically, a large amount of people think that he is either someone who runs a bot for all of his editing (due to his unresponse to many comments to him concerning his views on a variety of subjects) or someone who has been a complete failure at life, and can't get away from touching either a keyboard or playstation controller. I strongly suggest that his name be removed from the list of top editors, since (as the page says) a large amount of edits does not necessarily mean that a user is dedicated to improving Wikipedia.

I have been an editor at Wikipedia since July 2003. I do not run robots, and there are no robots in my house. I have never encountered a robot. I have contributed not only to videogame-related topics, but I also contributed to worthwhile topics related to visual entertainment (which includes film and television). I have contributed to more film related topics since the time I switched from fullscreen DVDs to widescreen DVDs. For the franchises I contributed to, Star Wars is original to motion pictures, while Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is original to comic books. I have been a big fan of Star Wars since the DVD release of the original trilogy. I grew up watching the old TMNT cartoon series, and I am curious about the new one as well as the Mirage Studios comic books. I am mainly dedicated to improving Wiktionary, and I have improved Wikipedia to some extent. As my user page says, I do not believe in romantic love. Intimate relationships are not my thing. Ten years ago, I was outright prejudiced against females. But that was then. Since I attended a predominately female college, my views toward women have changed. Unfortunately, my views toward women are clouded, due to moralistic religiopolitical movements, the American societal teachings, anti-male discrimination, high rates of divorce by wives, female oppression (i.e. in terms of women oppressing men), feminist ideology, female-on-male domestic violence (what I call "reverse domestic violence"), my parents and brothers being in a cult, and my past views toward women. My parents' church and the National Organization for Women have partly been responsible for clouding my views toward women. In the past, I received conflicting messages about women from that church. Care to explain the reasoning behind your anti-female pejorations (not a word, but whatever)? 24 at 16:12, 12 July 2005 (UTC)

Listen, I have read that my country the United States is accused of being a female-supremacist country. The feminist movement has been accused of promoting female supremacy. I do not condone anti-male discrimination. The culture has been accused of conditioning males to feel bad about being male and using sexuality to sell everything. Contrary to the feminist claim, the male sex is clearly the disadvantage sex. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 04:38, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
No you're just sexist
No, I am an egalitarian, and you are reverse-sexist.
No, you are just a sexist. If you were an egalitarian you would have equal views for both men and women. Since you don't, you cannot by definition be an egalitarian.

hey Tedius

Man your story is empowering and i totally agree with you on the censorship with video games especially with the recent adults only rating on GTA:San Andreas.I love your articles and your views see you later Tedius Zanarukando..........--Kit fisto 02:12, July 23, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks Kit fisto. That's great that you love my articles and views, especially when it comes to video games. That is a strong point right there. I am opposed to video game censorship, especially with the recent AO rerating on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Video game censorship has been an issue to the video game community and industry in recent years. The video game controversy article was originally two articles. I started the second article, and the first article was merged into second article. the second article which I started remains. Grand Theft Auto III is the video game that revived the video game controversy. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas made new history in that. My articles are mainly on role-playing video gaming. I am also a Star Wars fan just like you. I will see you again. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 04:23, July 23, 2005 (UTC)

Feminism

Just curious, but, why do you hate feminism so badly? From your other characteristics, it would seem that you would support feminism. The Wookieepedian 06:27, 20 November 2005 (UTC)

I am a masculist. I am an antifeminist Wikipedian. I am strongly opposed to radical and separatist feminism. They are a threat to romantic love. I also condemn feminist propaganda. Radical feminism is an insult to the male sex, and it is not the way to go for women. Separatist feminism is not the way to go either. Contemporary feminism is considered an anti-male, anti-familial, and antiheterosexual doctrine. I stay away from sites that encourage feminism. Feminism puts the genders at odds. Men have suffered from the side effects of feminism. Divorced men have been suffering from the feminist-diseased familial courts. I believe that feminism has played a role in high divorce rates, alienation of or phobia between the genders, female supremacy, love-shyness, disintegrating communities, fatherless children, high school and college dropouts, drug addiction, consumerism, teenage pregnancy, male suicide, violent crime, video game censorship and vilification, road rage, and prisons overfilled with male inmates. I also fear women, because suffering female violence is found to be a ticket for men to go to prison. I believe female rule (or matriarchy) oppresses males. I do not support the belief that if human rulership was in female hands, wars would not occur. It is human temperament that allows wars to occur. Wars occur only if mentally unbalanced rulers are in control of a nation. My profile is not intended to be contradictory. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 06:57, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
Well said. You've supported your opinion, which many don't, and that I can respect you for. My one question, however, is, couldn't male domination over women turn out just as bad? The Wookieepedian 20:33, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
Feminism is not compatible with the notion of equality, contrary to what many believe. It undermines men's rights and the reputation of the male sex. It puts the genders at war, and it is ideological. Female domination over men is worse than vice versa. Feminism equals male crime. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 01:58, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

Hey,

Regarding the Unseen/macross/Harmony Gold issue with BT. We're hanging fire on an entry till someone well informed can comment, the Counter-suit by Harmony Gold was settled out of court but the agreement was put under an NDA. It's been awkward to find out the details. It doesn't help that there are alot of rumors and misinformation flying round. For the momment, we'll leave your Macross entry up but the whole Macross issue will probably get it's own subcategory in due time. Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:SuperMarioBrosNESTitle.png. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the GFDL-self tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Bahamut Lagoon character names

Hey Tedius Zanarukando, Concerning the characters in the Bahamut Lagoon article. What was your source for their names? Did you transliterate them yourself? A person, 151.199.93.164, was asking about it on the Bahamut Lagoon talk page. Thanks, Jecowa 01:14, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

The character names are based on the fan translation by DeJap Translations. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 04:06, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the info. I noticed that you started the Bahamut Lagoon article. That's awesome! I just added some more characters to the article and I was wondering if you would correct the errors I'ev made. I've only played this game through the first battle, and am unsure of what all the characters' English names are.
Also, I noticed that in the game you start out with three characters. I would like to play this game with two of my friends with each of us controlling one of the characters and his/her dragon. Could you please tell me if you keep these same three characters throughout the entire game? If you don't keep them, do you think Bahamut Lagoon would still be very playable as a three-player game? Thanks a lot, Jecowa 09:00, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Mind if I cut in and answer? Yes, you not only keep all three, you get more groups as you acquire more dragons - seven, in fact. Is there anything in Wikipedia conventions which would tell us whether or not the fan-translation of the game acts as the best source for naming? For one thing, "Zeen-head"? That may be how it's pronounced, but I'll wager it was meant to be "Twinhead", what it means. And some of these names allude to other things, like "Jormungand", the Migard serpent of Norse mythology, which is currently a nice, nonsensical "Yule Moongaurd". Is there any reason to believe that the fan translation crew didn't do as fine a job as possible? I've asked this in more detail on Bahamut Lagoon's discussion page; just wanted to alert you to it. --PrescitedEntity 06:32, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Ah, I see; there is a thing about romanizing Japanese. Yet, again, some of these names have meaning which would be buried. I doubt they intended for any translation to have the dragon named "Zeen-head". BTW, have you read through Tomato's notes on his translation? I see no reason to deviate from his work. --PrescitedEntity 06:42, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm not very sure what the rules are. I think there is a proposed standard at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (Japan-related articles)#Anime and manga. I don't think this is a rule yet. It doesn't refer to video games, but I think Japanese video games should be grouped with Japanese comic books and cartoons for rules like these. I've seen some people make posts saying that we're not to use the fan translation names, but I believe the fan translation is the most official translation we have for now, unless Square already has an transliteration in the Manual or somewhere. Maybe we'll see an English version of this game released on the Wii sometime. Concerning Tomato's notes, I haven't seen them and am not sure what they are. Could you please tell me where to find them? Thanks. Jecowa 16:46, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
Okay, I found Tomato's notes. For those interested, here are Tomato's translation notes you'll have to unzip the file and open the file called "transnotes.txt." Sorry Mr. Zanarukando for using your talk page for this conversation. Jecowa 18:03, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
That is good that you found the fan translator's notes. Now, you do not need to use my talk page for this conversation. However, we need a translator to help expand the English article, using the Japanese article as a reference. We need to put in the descriptions of the characters as well. Explanation of my dislikes

Job market threatening technology is the use or invention of technology, such as robots and artificial intelligence machines/software, that destroys jobs opportunities, rendering the jobs obsolete. The most prominent of them is speech recognition technology, which has destroyed the medical transcriptionist job. This practice is self-defeating, is like copyright-infringement and shoplifting, and is the dark side of technology. For this reason, technology can not only erase jobs, leaving people with nothing to provide materially for themselves or their family or community, and it may put the companies out of business and ultimately destroy the economy. License tagging for Image:120px-Erotophobic.png

Thanks for uploading Image:120px-Erotophobic.png. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:05, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

My views toward the female sex

Female.svg This user has clouded views toward the female sex.

My views toward the female sex has been clouded and subverted by several factors. They include radical feminism, fundamentalism, certain laws, the laws representing the gender-unbalanced view of domestic violence, and gender differences that unflatteringly favor the female sex (especially when it comes to crime and the criminal justice system). Radical feminists can corrupt my views toward the female sex with just one swift stroke, and they are liars. The feminist claim is a preposterous lie. They are one of my worst enemies. Some of such differences were manipulated by legal force. Some news media and legislature (like VAWA) have also done that. Nowadays, the feminists want to alienate between the genders. I believe that the United States is a female chauvinistic country. The feminist movement has been accused of promoting female supremacy. I do not condone anti-male discrimination. The culture has been accused of conditioning males to feel bad about being male and using sexuality to sell everything. Contrary to the feminist claim, the male sex is clearly the disadvantage sex. When I was in high school about ten years ago, I was accused of harrassing my female classmate whom I was then attached to and had known since the age of 4, and I was threatened with expulsion from school because of that. Therefore, I have a Jekyll-and-Hyde type view toward the female sex.

One quote that has subverted my views toward the female sex is:

In fact, there are 27 risk factors rated higher than exposure to violent media, like socioeconomic status, academic failure, poor parent-child relations, weak social ties, and being male. Quick! Ban all the males! [3]

It is very, very wrong to arrest someone just for being male. That is reverse sexism, which I have a zero tolerance for. Prejudice against males is absolutely unacceptable to me. Having the male sex as a risk factor for violent crime has subverted my views toward the female sex. The feminist movement played a role of influencing the male sex to commit crimes. Before the rise of feminism, men committed far less violent crime. If it were not for feminism, the male prison population would have been more than 50% lower.

In recent years, the battle of the sexes has escalated into an outright, epic, and full-fledged gender war. This war has been playing out in the boardroom, the courtroom, the educational system, and the bedroom. The ultimate goal of feminists is to subvert the gender system and alienate between the genders.

Here is another quote that has clouded my views toward the female sex:[4]

1. Women are three times more likely than men to use weapons in spousal violence.
2. Women initiate most incidents of spousal violence.
3. Women commit most child abuse and most elder abuse.
4. Women hit their male children more frequently and more severely than they hit their female children.
5. Women commit most child murders and 64% of their victims are male children.
6. When women murder adults the majority of their victims are men.
7. Women commit 52% of spousal killings and are convicted of 41% of spousal murders.
8. Eighty two percent of the general population had their first experience of violence at the hands of women.

Super Smash Bros.

Your additions regarding Super Smash Bros. Brawl to the articles of Lip and Sigurd are extremely biased. Please do not continue adding similar information to any articles. 199.126.137.209 21:35, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

Lip is my least favorite Nintendo character ever. She looks annoying and is a perceived bad omen. One of my userboxes say that I dislike Lip. Sigurd is one of my favorite Fire Emblem characters. I will reject Super Smash Bros. Brawl if Lip makes it and neither Sigurd nor Ayra makes it in. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 05:44, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
Lip is unique though I Agree she should not be added but her stick should remain as an item, Sigrud and Ayra have low chances because Sakurai the director said he is trying to appeal to an audience outside of Japan, those being japan only characters this reduces their chances. Guess who i am 00:12, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Lip is also Japan-only because of "Tetris A-Hack" (when Panel de Pon becomes Tetris Attack), although she was hinted and mentioned in Super Smash Bros. Melee. She is not very appealing to the western audience at all, compared to most other Japan-only characters. Not many western players will use her if she makes it in. That is why she has a low chance of being playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I agree that her stick should remain as an item. The item name "Lip's Stick" is a pun on the word "lipstick." However, with the success of Fire Emblem outside Japan, including the appearance of Marth and Roy in Melee, Sigurd does have a good chance of being playable in Brawl. If Lip's chances of being in Brawl are low, then I would not be requesting Ayra. I think that if Ayra gets to be playable in a Super Smash Bros. game, she would kill the most recognizable Nintendo characters. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 05:41, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Hey, there! I've always wanted to meet you "face to face"! =) I'd like to ask you: what's wrong with Lip being playable in SSBB? I want her in (as you can see from a userbox I "copied" from you), so she can't be THAT bad. So what if she's Japan-only? I think obscure characters add flair to SSB. I don't know why you make such a big deal about it. Look, I don't want Sonic in Brawl, but I don't try and campaign his way out. And I don't understand HOW Lip "makes" you want Ayra in Brawl, it just doesn't make sense to me. Telemachus Claudius Rhade 11:51, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
I sadly witnessed strong support for Lip at the NSider board (my NSider name is KINGMANANAN). I am saddened that there is not enough support for Ayra being playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Ayra is my absolute favorite Nintendo character, and Lip is my absolute least favorite one. Like Lip, Ayra and Sigurd are also obscure characters. I will be mad at you if you support Lip but oppose Ayra being playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I have already written out an in-depth description how Ayra may fare in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. By my vision for her, she would be one of the top tier characters in Brawl, thus she would be more successful in Super Smash Bros. Brawl than Marth was in Super Smash Bros. Melee. She would add a whole lot of flair to the game. To add more flair to her, she would be voiced by a relatively unfamiliar seiyuu. I also suggest that Lip and Ayra be voiced by the same seiyuu. They would speak Japanese during taunt and victory poses. I discovered Lip about three years before I discovered Ayra. I discovered Lip one year before Super Smash Bros. Melee came out, and later that year I discovered Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu on a fan translation site, but I did not see Ayra there. I discovered Ayra when I saw the in-game demo just before playing Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu about two years later. She was the first character (alongside her nephew Shanan) to appear in the demo.

Here is how my opinion on Lip and Ayra all started:

Luigi was my favorite Nintendo character from the start of me playing Nintendo consoles. After SMB was finished, the Nintendo staff wanted Mario ride a dinosaur, who would be known as Yoshi. Yoshi was introduced in SMW Around the same time, Shouzou Kaga created the Fire Emblem franchise, with Marth being the first character created in the series. By 1992, he happened to be my then least favorite NIntendo character, due to my experiences with him. Three years later, Gunpei Yokoi developed Panel de Pon, which would star Lip who would overtake Yoshi as my least favorite Nintendo character by the time I discovered the game. The game had an extremely feminine look. Nintendo decided to localize the game in North America as Tetris Attack, but replacing the original characters with characters from SMW2: Yoshi's Island, having Yoshi replace Lip. That partly led Lip to become my least favorite Nintendo character. Yoshi reminds me of Lip, so I hate him. The following year, Yokoi developed Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu, which would include Ayra who would become my favorite Nintendo character. When I was in college, I discovered a major Mario fansite, called themushroomkingdom.net. That fansite has a section called "Tetris A-Hack." It covers the comparisons between Panel de Pon and Tetris Attack. This is where I saw Lip for the first time. Those Panel de Pon screenshots (in comparison with Tetris Attack), and especially Lip herself, are a bitter eyesore to me. They conclude that Panel de Pon is inferior to Tetris Attack. Lip also looked to annoying. The Webpage also led me to have a massive hatred toward Lip. It also significantly contributed to my decline in Super Mario fandom, another reason why I massively hate Lip. I retired from Super Mario, because of may remind me of Lip. I also looked at TetrisAttack.net, and it told me that there is a superstition that it is extremely unlucky to paste a picture of Lip in one's belongings. The character also tempted me to become superstitious, which is said to be a bad thing according to religion (as Stevie Wonder would say "Superstition is not the way.").

A month later, Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu was the first game I discovered through fan translation sites, and I also discovered Fire Emblem: Monshou no Nazo at that time. One year after that, Super Smash Bros. Melee was developed. Marth happened to be playable in the game upon's Japan's requests. When the game was in debugging process, Marth received favorable attention from Nintendo of America. As a result, Nintendo of America decided to keep Marth in the North American version of Super Smash Bros. Melee. A friend of mine told me that Marth and Roy are playable in that game. A month later, my brother unlocked those characters for play on his copy of the game. As I discovered, Marth and Roy caught my eye. I began to master playing as those characters. Then suddenly, Marth happened to overtake Luigi as my favorite Nintendo character, only to be overtaken by a female Fire Emblem character, who would be none other than Ayra.

One year after Super Smash Bros. Melee, I was successfully tempted to play Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu. I became accustomed to the gameplay and the soundtrack. At first my favorite Nintendo character was Sigurd, the main character of the first half of the game, but I later saw the in-game demo, and it showed who would soon become my favorite character at the beginning, but I did not yet know her name. Her appearance at the beginning of the demo contributed to her becoming my favorite character. A dialogue said by Kinbois (in Chapter 1 [actually second chapter of the game] of the game where Ayra was introduced) says that she has a very pretty face, implying that she is very beautiful; a later dialogue states that Ayra is very beautiful as well (Therefore, if she appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a playable character, she would look more beautiful than she already is. However, I do not consider looks as a factor for being playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.). I then started playing through the beginning chapter and then the Chapter where that character was introduced. I saw that her name is Ayra (known in Japan as Ira). In my first and second playthroughs, I killed her off, assuming that she is an unrecruitable enemy. I then went ahead to the next chapter, where Holyn, Lachesis, Levin, and Ferry were introduced. During my break from the game, just after I finished that chapter, I visited GameFAQs to find a walkthrough on Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu. As a prelude to Ayra becoming my favorite Nintendo character, I read a GameFAQs walkthrough, and I was very, very surprised that it told me that Ayra is recruitable, that she is more difficult than normal to recruit, and that she is worth all the effort of recruiting. In response, with the aforementioned rationale, I rebooted the game to recruit her, having Sigurd talk to her after seizing Genoa castle. It was difficult to recruit her anyway, but I was successful at that. I then played my way back to the chapter I was in before I rebooted the game and played further. I was amazed when I saw Ayra being promoted to Swordmaster; promotion gives better stats and better looks, not only that, but also the fight animations and the resulting stats. I was amazed at GameFAQs about the class she started, which is called the Swordmaster class. That led me to call Swordmasters my favorite FE class, and to call swords my favorite weapon type. When I played the game in English for the first time, I learned more and more about Ayra's personality, which was amazing. That was a big factor that led me to call Ayra my favorite Nintendo character. One key personality element is that Ayra is coldhearted toward stringers and very, very nice and caring to those who are close to her. As I went through Celice's tale, that also significantly contributed to Ayra being my favorite Nintendo character. Even though Shanan, Lakche, and Skasaher, have superior stats, Ayra retained her position as my favorite Nintendo character. For one thing is that she is, in my opinion, the most interesting Fire Emblem character ever, and she is more suited for Super Smash Bros. than Shanan and Lakche. I saw several GameFAQs files that influence me to call Ayra my favorite Nintendo character, and RPGamer's review as well. One joke quote in the legal section of one Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu GameFAQ file says: "I'll have Ayra beat you up!" After that, by searching Web sites, I picked up many more factors leading up to Ayra becoming my favorite Nintendo character. The Osawa manga fascinated me, and that contributed to my Ayra fandom. I have praised Ayra very much that I started campaigning for her to be playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, feeling that it she would be very successful in the game. My massive hatred for Lip and my great passion for Ayra, and that character suggestion battle between them led me to doubt whether I will Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

On a side note, I have placed a userbox on my userpage stating "This user dislikes Super Smash Bros. Brawl even if it has not come out yet. Like you, I also hate Yoshi. This is because I have witnessed strong support for Lip being in the game and inadequate support for Ayra. If Ayra makes it in or if Lip does not make it in, I will remove that userbox. If both Lip and Ayra make it in, I will use Lip as a punching bag and Ayra as my primary (or used most often) character. I used Yoshi as a punching bag in the original Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee. I used Luigi as my primary character in the original Super Smash Bros. and Marth as my primary character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Using Yoshi or Sonic as a punching bag is fine me, but using Ayra as a punching bag is not. I played Tetris Attack, but I like Puzzle League on Gameboy Advance better. Do you actually know about Fire Emblem? I bet you never played Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu, where Ayra was introduced. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 05:52, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

You'll be "mad" at me if I support Lip and reject Ayra? Are you for real? =P Looks like you and I are not going to get along. It's a shame, really. Because I personally couldn't care less about Ayra. =( I hate Yoshi BECAUSE he replaced Lip, not because he reminds me of her. I loathe Tetris Attack and, in my opinion, that game is a sorry excuse of a video game and is a disgrace to the industry!
Yeah, I saw your posts on NSider. Personally, I'm like many of the guys in that forum. I think your reason for hating Lip is stupid. Barbie Fairytopia is a lot more feminine than Panel De Pon, yet I like it. I felt like lynching you because of those posts, my being an active Lip supporter.
Anyways, it's either you or me who'll be boycotting Brawl; that's inevitable. (No Ayra + Lip = you; No Lip, Midna or Draco + anyone else = me).
Anyway, if Lip is in Brawl but not Ayra, have fun being laughed at. If the both are in, DON'T YOU TOUCH LIP, YOU HEAR ME?! If it turns out your way, I hope you're forced to kick Ayra's @$$ in an Event Match. WITH YOSHI! Your new nemesis, Rhade 15:11, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
If Brawl turns out your way, I will give it a bad score, and maybe I would meet with Masahiro Sakurai personally. If it turns out your way, I hope you will be forced to hit Lip in an Event Match with Marth. I am going to make Lip my punching bag and Ayra my primary brawler. If both Lip and Ayra are in, you better not touch Ayra! I am becoming increasingly active Ayra supporter. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 17:41, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Dude, you make me laugh. =P Sakurai would have security boot you out immediately. If there'll be such an Event Match, I'll just kill Marth with Giga Bowser right afterwards in Melee. And even if I do touch your precious Ayra, there's nothing you can do to stop me. XP
I hope I'll have the chance to publicly beat the living sh** out of you in online play! That is, IF you touch Lip. >( Rhade 17:24, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Rhade, there is nothing you can do to stop me either if I have Ayra beat Lip. I not only hate Lip, but also hate the fairy characters of Panel de Pon. In fact, I hate fairies period. I will publicly kick your rump in online play real good if you insult me or touch Ayra. I hope Ayra outshines Lip. I live in the United States while you, an effeminate man, live in Canada. If Lip makes it in but Ayra does not, do not expect me to challenge you online. You can just use Yoshi as your punching bag like I did in the original SSB and Melee. I would get terribly upset if I lose with Ayra. If I lose to you with any character besides Ayra, that will do you no good against me. I will have the highest skills with Ayra, but I will also master the other Fire Emblem characters in the game, as well as some Zelda, F-Zero, and Golden Sun characters and playable Pokémon. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 00:06, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
I apologize for giving you so much shit. =( We got off on the wrong foot. I've just always wanted to do this to you, but it's wrong. I never usually do this online and I feel terrible. It's ok if Ayra's in Brawl. As long as Lip, Midna or Draco (Puyo Pop) are in, she can be in, it's alright. I just don't want Sonic.
I have to say, though, you and I ARE very much alike, as much as I at first hated to admit it. We both defend our interests vigorously and we both tend to attack those who think differently from us. I just won't talk about L** around you, that's all.
Getting upset by losing with Ayra (provided she makes it) won't make you win. Believe me, I've tried playing with anger, and I can't control even Giga with that. Oh, and what does the country we each live in have to do with anything? I got one of my best friends to support L** for Brawl. And you won't be able to kill me if there's no L**, because I won't be getting the game.
If it makes you feel any better, I DO support Ike and Sigurd for Brawl, though. ;)
Sorry again. I know I did too much for you to forgive me (I don't deserve it anyway).
Rhade 11:45, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

So Rhade, you have forgiven me. I am so sorry about it. I will also get as many Nintendo fans as I can to support Ayra. Since you support Sigurd, if you want to challenge me online, I suggest you support Ayra for Brawl. I do not like anyone who supports Lip but does not support Ayra. Sonic does not concern me. IGN.com message board supports her. There are already some others who support her for Brawl at NSider board. I heard that Masahiro Sakurai himself is a Fire Emblem fan. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 20:55, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Well, I support Lip, there's nothing you can do about that. I'm starting to be interested in Ayra showing up, to see what she's capable of without having to play the game she's from. I think that your disliking those who support Lip but not Ayra is a little intense, don't you?
I respect your opinion, but do not share it.
BTW, I read about how much you want Lip dummied out of Brawl's localized version should she show up in Smash Brothers X (Japanese version). I personally think that if she does NOT get dummied out, you should just stick with boycotting the game rather than trying to ruin the game for those of us, myself included, who DO want her in. You know by now how much I don't want Sonic in Brawl. I, however, don't go around saying "Dummy him out of SSBB", because there are some who DO want him in. Just a personal opinion that you're not obligated to agree with.
Another thing I support is Marth's return. I'm sure you do too. Oh, and someone tagged part of my comment as unsigned. Might wanna look into that. I removed the tag since it was all my comment. Telemachus Claudius Rhade 13:34, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Normally I would respect others' opinions. However, those who support Lip for Brawl but not Ayra are likely to flame me. I am neutral when it comes to Sonic being in SSBB. I am disappointed that many are opposed to the downloadable content feature in SSBB, and that is complicating the conflict involving Lip and Ayra. Will you play as Ayra if she makes it in Brawl? Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 20:26, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Even though I flamed you for your opinion, I take it all back, as you sound like a pretty respectable guy in my opinion. We just have so much in common.
I'm not opposed to downloadable content, as it would boost the sales and people would be able to choose their own playable roster and create THEIR ideal SSBB. I absolutely support it. Nothing would beat a Brawl where Lip, Midna, K. Rool and Giga Bowser are playable! But, how does that complicate your Lip-Ayra conflict?
Sure I might play as Ayra. I might try her out few times if her moves interest me. But if Lip is not in SSBB, I won't play as Ayra since I won't be getting the game at all. Rhade 12:20, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I noticed you recently created the above template in my namespace. While I welcome the addition of userboxes to my directory at User:MiraLuka/Userboxes/Sexuality, I prefer that other users make templates in their own user space (for example, User:Tedius Zanarukando/Userboxes/User masculismsupporter). I'm not asking you to move it or anything, but please create future userboxes in your own user space, and feel free to add them to the listing I maintain. Furthermore, the use of categories in userboxes is controversial, and I urge you to remove the category you added to . —Mira 20:16, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Final Fantasy Adventure

Hi. I was just working on the Final Fantasy Adventure article and noticed in the edit history that you added the comment about the game having a working title of Gemma Knights. I am considering to reject Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I am considering to reject Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It has been found that my least favorite Nintendo character has a higher chance than my most favorite Nintendo character has. To make matters worse, some fans have sworn by Fire Emblem's Lord class. However, Masahiro Sakurai is considering Oguma from Marth's games to be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I would reject the game if my least favorite Nintendo character makes it in and my most favorite does not. I might also criticize the game for having Marth overnerfed or disgraced. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 06:49, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Roy was only implemented to boost FE6 sales in Japan, so don't be suprised if you see Sothe mingling with the "classics" to boost Goddess of Dawn sales. They should add Ashnard, he is a legend that can teach Ganondorf a thing or two. The Daein King 09:45, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Open matte edits

Hey Tedius, just wanted to let you know that I reverted your recent edits to the open matte article because I was unable to find substantial reference to "closed matte transfer" either online on in the literature. I was wondering if you might have a citation for it - as I remember, the term usually used to refer to a soft matte film which is letterboxed to the same matte is "original aspect ratio" (OAR). Please let me know if you have further information, though. Thanks! Girolamo Savonarola 19:53, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Duplicate userbox "Final Fantasy series"

I've seen that you have created a new page User:Tedius Zanarukando/Userboxes/User Final Fantasy for your "borrowed" userbox. This duplicates the space on wikipedia for exactly the same userbox. There is also no need to list the same userbox twice in Wikipedia:Userboxes/Games#Favorite game. I suggest you remove your link from the list and delete your subpage. Instead you should copy and paste this code in User:Tedius Zanarukando/Userboxes#Borrowed Userboxes: Fantasy series . This will also appear as link but without creating a duplicate page. Best regards ----Bisco 17:51, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Why I don't believe in romantic love?

Erotophobic.svg This user does not believe in romantic relationship.

Romantic love is unattainable and undesirable for me. I have clouded views toward the female sex. I would be a more responsible man if I had a wife. I fear the financial risks of divorce too much. 93% of divorces are initiated by women. Women no longer care about pleasing men, and that may be a tenet of radical feminist dogma. I was disappointed about the 1995 data from the Disease Control and Prevention.

Here is what I previously quoted from the section "I have clouded views toward the female sex."

 • 1. Women are three times more likely than men to use weapons in spousal violence.
 • 2. Women initiate most incidents of spousal violence.
 • 3. Women commit most child abuse and most elder abuse.
 • 4. Women hit their male children more frequently and more severely than they hit their female children.
 • 5. Women commit most child murders and 64% of their victims are male children.
 • 6. When women murder adults the majority of their victims are men.
 • 7. Women commit 52% of spousal killings and are convicted of 41% of spousal murders.
 • 8. Eighty two percent of the general population had their first experience of violence at the hands of women.

Think about some of the mitigating circumstances for a second.
1) Women are physically weaker, so if they're to attack or defend themselves, of course they're more likely to use a weapon.
2) What the hell do they mean by "initate"? Disobeying? This may be sexist bullshit.
3) and 8): Women are culturally more expected to care for children and the elderly, and you can't often abuse people you don't have frequent contact with. Considering how many children have frequently or completely absent fathers, this is no surprise.
4) and 5) Corporal punishment and murder is often based on provocation, not that that it makes it any more excuseable, but due to cultural expectations boy children are more disobedient than girl children. Willfullness is more encouraged to them.
6) When men murder adults the majority of their victims are women. Domestic murder is the most common kind, and male/female is the most common kind of domestic partnership.
7) I find these figures hard to believe.
-- AvatarMN 19:31, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Those figures are that I quoted are well-documented. The current cultural expectations are based on feminist dogma, not reality. I do not lie, and I know that lying causes you to lose your credibility. Women are as like to resort to violence as men. The feminist approach to the domestic violence problem does us no good. Anti-male feminist dogma is not the answer to domestic violence [5]. The feminist assumption that in domestic violence cases is that all men are irredeemably violent. Kickero

I defer to your expertise on classical Latin pronunciation. I do wonder, though: what about Caesar? Was it pronounced Keeser? Cheeser? or Seize-her, as at present in English? --Christofurio 23:04, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

In Classical Latin, Caesar is pronounced "KIGH-suhr." --Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 00:15, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Like the German/Prussian term Kaiser? --Christofurio 02:49, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Yes, it is pronounced that way in Classical Latin. In Classical Latin, the letter c is always pronounced as k and never as s or sh, and ae is pronounced as i as in ice. --Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 07:54, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Episode article naming

Hiya, I noticed that you'd added some information back in February to the List of episodes page at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles[6]. This guideline is currently being re-discussed, so I am inviting you back to the discussion, to offer your opinion? It's being discussed both at Talk:List of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) episodes and Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (television), and your thoughts would be greatly appreciated at both locations, to indicate whether or not you prefer a consistent method of titling TMNT episodes, or a method of "disaambiguate only when needed." Thanks, --Elonka 23:39, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

I prefer the consistent method of titling episodes of the 1987 and 2003 TMNT shows [ending the titles with "(TMNT 1987 episode)" and "(TMNT 2003 episode)" respectively], rathing than the "disambiguate only when needed" method. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 00:53, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. Since moves are ongoing at the TMNT categories, may I strongly recommend that you post your opinion in the above-linked discussions? Also, can you please tell me who else was involved in coming up with the naming convention? Or was it a decision that you made personally? --Elonka 00:33, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Courtesy note about ArbCom proceeding

Hiya, sorry to bother you, but I wanted to drop you a courtesy note to let you know about a current ArbCom proceeding where your name is briefly mentioned. If you are not familiar with ArbCom, please do not be alarmed. In real-world terms, this is sort of like stating that your name is being mentioned as one of the witnesses (or possibly even bystanders) to a case. ArbCom cases tend to be somewhat large and chaotic, but if you would like to watch the proceedings, you may wish to set Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Naming Conventions on your watchlist. Your own name is probably somewhere on the evidence page, or possibly at the workshop page. The case is currently in an "evidence-gathering" phase and has not yet reached the state of actual comment by arbitrators yet. My guess is it'll probably run for another month or so before a decision is finalized.

No action is needed on your part, this is just a courtesy note. If you would like to participate in the case though, you are more than welcome. You may wish to offer a statement with your view of events at the case's talkpage, or you can add evidence or participate in the workshop. Many editors routinely participate in ArbCom proceedings regardless of whether or not they are directly involved in the case, since ArbCom rulings are considered "binding" and may have ramifications in other parts of Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, let me know, or feel free to post at Wikipedia talk:Requests for arbitration/Naming Conventions. Best, Elonka 05:57, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

I might participate in this case if I could. These events may be critical in some respects. We need to gather enough evidence before the case can be judged or finalized. Who is the judge? Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 18:33, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Pushing the "Lord's Prayer" as a language example tekst

Hello Tedius, In the Dutch Wiki I am having a really heavy fight on the removal of the "Lord's Prayer" as a language example. A couple of religious persons are not interested in motivation or real arguments (they don't have any). So a Moderator blocks me every time for something which is not in essence anti-Religious. I exchanged the prayer for the first 3 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In older fights I quoted a professor of history regarding a saint, also on the English Wiki I've added another view, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Saint_Boniface. I would like to learn your opinion on the use of "Lord's Prayer" as a "neutral" language example tekst. Cheers Bornestera 21:37, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

I am not a user of the Dutch Wikipedia. I have little or no knowledge of the Dutch language. I am antireligious to an extent, but more exactly, antifundamentalist. However, I would accept "Lord's Prayer" as a "neutral" language example text. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 05:58, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply, though I find a prayer not a neutral example. Don't you think there should be a Wiki-wide standard for a neutral example tekst ? Bornestera 20:06, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Divisive userboxes

Hi Tedius Zanarukando, your many userboxes are very interesting and I learned a lot about you by reading them. I would like to inform you, if you weren't already informed, that divisive userboxes are a cause of controversy on Wikipedia and tend to be deleted. Quoting from Wikipedia:Userboxes#Content restrictions:

Simply: If content is not appropriate on a user page, it is not appropriate within userboxes.

Some of your userboxes that may be seen as divisive or inflammatory include the ones on Jehovah's Witnesses and "This user hates fundamentalism". I think your autobiographical paragraph about severing family ties paints a pretty good picture of your views, so the userboxes are largely redundant anyway. Userboxes like these, especially ones that others are using (I noticed this from someone else's page of userboxes), only give others cause to dislike or question your edits. I think everyone involved would be better off without them. Therefore, I ask you to consider stating your ideas in a more positive tone and rewording or blanking the divisive userboxes, or have them deleted via db-author. Thanks. P.S. I am not a Jehovah's Witness, nor do I know anyone who is. Quarl (talk) 2007-02-12 05:48Z

I was raised in a Jehovah's Witness household, and my immediate relatives know many of Jehovah's Witnesses. I have cut ties with my family, because I left Jehovah's Witnesses over media-related issues, and later for learned reasons (such as when I learned about nudism). By the end of 2007, I will have distanced myself from my family. Some of those userboxes are custom userboxes, which are those that are in neither template namespace nor user namespace. I am not intending a political campaign. I do not have a lust for power in any way. I will consider on rewording the userboxes to sound as positive as they can. Carmen Sandiego (film)

I have added a "prod" template to the article Carmen Sandiego (film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Hi! I just wanted to inform you that your userbox User PS3 and X360 over Wii is 2 pixels too wide (242px, should be 240px). I suggest you change the width of the border to 1 instead of 2 to correct this problem. --MrStalker 10:11, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

'Romantic love is unattainable for me'

Well, I simply can't imagine WHY women wouldn't be all over you ready to give their love! I mean, seeing how much you respect women... oh. wait. 74.73.238.141 19:51, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Romantic love is unattainable and undesirable for me. I would be a more responsible man if I were a husband and/or father. Feminist dogma has clouded my views toward women. If we can take feminist dogma out of society, then I may reconsider my decision on romantic love. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 02:12, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you!

You have shown me what I could become! Now my mission in life is to not end up like you!

Your userpage is too long

I honestly think that your userpage is way, way, way, way, way too long. It basically looks like you're hosting an entire website on it; and Wikipedia is not a free webhost. I'd suggest really trimming it down; cutting out lots of the userboxes, shortening your life story (maybe just the summary you already have?), etc. Veinor (talk to me) 16:22, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

This unregistered reader of Wikipedia agrees. There is no reason ANYBODY needs to know all that useless information about you.

No, Veinor, I do not want a short userpage, and you are asking for the userpage to be shortened significantly, which I do not like. This userpage is mainly to picture my interests and point of view. The userpage is long because of the Userboxes. What I could do is move the userboxes to a subpage. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 18:11, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
I'd suggest moving a lot of that stuff to a subpage or just removing it outright. It's one thing to show what you're interested in and your POV biases; it's another to have a huge list of things that you like or information about your family. Granted, your contributions to mainspace do show that you're not just interested in using Wikipedia as a Myspace page, but I still think that this is horribly excessive. Oh, and I looked at a version without userboxes: it's still 46 KB, which is longer than a lot of articles; while the userboxes certainly do make it larger, the huge amount of text you have contributes as well. Veinor (talk to me) 18:22, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Instead of deleting the information outright, I will split the userpage. I would move the userboxes to a subpage. What will remain on my main userpage is my story, profile summary, contributions list, and beliefs.
Update: I have just finished splitting the userpage.

Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 19:56, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Wikipedia is not Myspace.

Self-centered worldview, self-perpetuating victimhood

Your victimhood is self-perpetuating as long as your worldview centers on whatever makes you happiest; misogyny as a 'safeguard' against getting hurt by girls is the reason you get hurt in the first place and it excludes you from victimhood because you frankly deserve it. As long as your view continues to include gross, demeaning generalizations about one-half of the human population your tirades against social conservatism are unjustifiable and unwelcome. You cannot impose your personal vendettas on social models in the real world.

Good God

You are not to dictate how women dress, talk, think, look like, and behave. In fact, there are many women with short hair and is light-skinned and blond-haired which has made more contributions in one day than you have in your entire lifetime. You spend your hours trolling websites spreading your venom disguised as something called the "female doctrine." No wonder you don't believe in romantic relationships, it's because every single woman will want to retreat as far away from you as possible the first second they learn what you believe in.

Change your views, or reality is going to just hit you like a brick.

You are a butch feminist! Feminist dogma on female fashion is certainly not the way to go. My views on female fashion are common sense, well-documented, and have been proven correct. The views you want me to have, and that are prevalent in today's world, are based on feminist dogma, not social reality. Women with short hair and in trousers may be tenets of feminist dogma, but they are hostile behavior. Feminism is an outdated belief of the past. Reality is on my side. What you have said about female fashion is a tenet of feminist dogma, not reality. Feminist dogma is not the answer. Romantic love is not my thing. I would be a more responsible man if I had a wife. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 19:40, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Proven by who? You have no place telling either men or women how to dress.

Image:No 1.33to1.jpg

Hi. When you uploaded Image:No 1.33to1.jpg, you did not specify complete source and copyright information. Another user subsequently tagged it with GFDL-presumed and, for some time, it has existed on Wikipedia under the assumption that you created the image and you agreed to license it under the GFDL. This assumption, however well-meaning, is not legally sufficient and the tag is being phased out. Images using it are being deleted.

This image has been tagged for deletion and will be deleted in one week if adequate copyright information is not provided.

If you, personally, are the author of this content, meaning that you took the photograph yourself or you created the chart yourself (and it does not use any clipart that you did not create), please retag the image with a free image copyright tag that correctly describes your licensing intentions, usually GFDL-self or PD-self. Please also make sure if you have not already done so that you write a good description of what the image depicts, when you took the photo, and other important details. This will allow Wikipedia to continue using the image.

If you did not create the image or if it is derived from the copyrighted works of others, please keep in mind that most images on the internet are copyrighted and are not suitable for use on Wikipedia. Wikipedia respects the copyrights of others and does not use images unless we know that they have been freely licensed. Any creative work is automatically copyrighted, even if it lacks a copyright notice. Unless the copyright holder has specifically disclaimed their rights to the image and released it under the GFDL or another compatible license, we cannot use it. If you did not create the image, and cannot make the image compliant with Wikipedia:Non-free content, simply do nothing and it will be deleted in a week. All other non-free images must follow these rules.

Please feel free to contact me on my talk page or leave a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions with any questions you may have. Thank you. Aksibot 07:12, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Possible resignation

In the wake of a Fire Emblem related article deletion debate, I am considering to resign from Wikipedia. I am very disappointed about Voretus's decision. I started the Fire Emblem series' main article during my early days at Wikipedia. I will still use Wikipedia as a reference, but I will hardly ever do any further contributions. However, I will no longer visit the Fire Emblem related articles again. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 01:24, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:A NEW HOPE-3 DVD.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:A NEW HOPE-3 DVD.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:38, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

Non-free use disputed for Image:FE4Ayra.jpg

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:FE4Ayra.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 09:28, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

The image was previously used in an article, but that article was merged with the article List of characters in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. The image can be reused on the article it was merged with. It was uploaded in 2004. The rationale is that it was used to illustrate the character without taking away the value of the copyright, such as to purchase the game. It was meant to be qualified for fair use. It was Web resolution. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 01:00, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Image:FE4Lex.jpg

I have tagged Image:FE4Lex.jpg as a disputed use of non-free media, because there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please clarify your fair use rationale on the image description page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 09:28, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Fe3-006.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Fe3-006.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the GFDL-self tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:50, 3 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 09:50, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Welcome back — we need you here.

I wasn't around much when you were an active contributor, but I've always known that you've edited the Fire Emblem articles quite alot and have been prolific with them. Basically, there are hardly any editors except me who regularly contributes to the Fire Emblem articles. Your help will be welcomed as I've never played the Japanese FE games and I doubt my knowledge is as profound as yours. I know the Ayra merge was a bit of a mess because I know nothing about her — I was going to clean it up though. Basically, Fire Emblem is going nowhere with only me making major changes and having single-person conversations on the talk page. Please let me know if you will be returning and helping me out. Thanks. Also, Ayra, Sigurd and Celice have been moved to "egamia". Ashnard Talk Contribs 07:42, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Ignoring me huh? You don't have to agree or like what's happening, just please state what you'll be doing, preferably on my talk page. I won't mind as long as I'm not being ignored. I know this because you're making contributions after I've contacted you. Thanks. Ashnard Talk Contribs 17:11, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Please label in the lead of the List of characters in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War what "predestined" means. It can be confusing for casual readers of the article. Obviously, one can pretty much work out what it means, but please state it ont the lead. Thanks. Ashnard Talk Contribs 05:48, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
"Predestined" in the game Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu means that the character has a talk with an opposite gender character with the intent to be paired with each other. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 05:51, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Misogynistic like/dislike

My views towards females are clouded anyway, because of feminist extremism. Misogynistic likes/dislikes include quotes like "Tedius Zanarukando likes hearing news of male birth, and he dislikes hearing news of female birth", "Tedius Zanarukando likes Y chromosomes, and he dislikes X chromosomes", or "Tedius Zanarukando likes XY sperms, and he dislikes XX sperms." I seem to feel happy when I hear news of male birth (or the statement "<Person's name> got a baby boy"). I seem to feel sad when I hear news of female birth (or the statement "<Person's name> got a baby girl"). What is wrong with misogynistic likes/dislikes? Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 02:48, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

 • Because it's irrational, biased, prejudicial, sexist?? They term misogynist literally means "woman hater". So ... why do you hate me because I am female? You don't even know me ... - Alison 03:15, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
You can't have XY sperm. Each Gamete only has one chromosome. It would be XY only when it meets with the egg. Ashnard Talk Contribs 09:35, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
I meant the misogynistic like/dislike statement, "Tedius Zanarukando likes Y sperms/chromosomes, and he dislikes X sperms/chromosomes." Does that sound misogynistic to you? What is wrong with that? Would you rather have a son or a daughter? I heard that the majority of Americans prefer daughters while the Chinese prefer sons. I myself would rather have a son for my biological first child. If my first biological child is a girl, I will give her away for adoption. If the mother of the child disagrees, I will break up with her. I am sorry that I have yet to break free from misogynistic tendencies, but I am trying to. I grew up with two brothers and no sister. I have a nephew but no niece. I had a bad experience with females back in the 1990s. However, most of my co-workers in my department in a Walgreens distribution center are female, and I work under a female manager. Being around mostly women in my setting in a larger place is nothing new to me. I attended a predominantly female college, and attended a class where everyone else is female. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 15:40, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
If my first biological child is a girl, I will give her away for adoption. If the mother of the child disagrees, I will break up with her. This is seriously the dumbest thing I've ever heard, ever. You hate all women, just because they're women? You would leave a women to be a single mother just because she had a daughter, even though the male sex chromosome decides the gender of the child? With that kind of attitude, I don't see you finding a wife. Ever. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.104.126.77 (talkcontribs)
The above anon editor has a point. These views are irrational in the extreme. You hate 51% of the population ... why?? Because they were born female?? That makes no sense whatsoever. Why do you hate me, for example? I've asked you this before yet you have not answered. Being prejudiced against your own child to the point of disowning them because of their genetic makeup is sick and wrong in the extreme. Would you disown them if they had Trisomy 21? What about children born with Klinefelter's syndrome? Are they "okay" or are they not? None of this makes the slightest bit of sense. In seriousness, I think you need professional help to get over this disorder. It's going to be a major impediment to a happy life - Alison 23:19, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Leaving your partner that you got pregnant because she had a female child, smacks of the worst of deadbeatedness. Abandoning the mother of your own kid? And why??? That so marks you out as being 1) deluded, 2) irresponsible in the extreme (a deadbeat dad), 3) legally liable for support, 4) a complete and utter dysfunctional human being. I'm not being perjorative here; it really does. Look - I've had my problems with males of the species in the past (like you wouldn't believe!) but I've yet to write off every male I meet based upon their accident of birth - Alison 23:24, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
I will disown my first child if it is a girl or has Klinefelter's Syndrome or Trisomy 21. People with Trisomy 21 do not live very long. I had a bad experience with females in the 1990s and in 2005. I was turned down by them. My upbringing also has to do with my disdain for females and my disbelief in romantic love. I was raised in a Jehovah's Witness household. That religion indirectly subverted my views toward females. My parents and their religion conditioned me to be prejudiced against the female sex. The Taliban, who fell from power in late 2001, are absolutely misogynous, but I am not like them. The Taliban even murder women for sexist reasons, but I am not a murderer. Gynephobia (fear of women) has been ingrained into me all those years since high school. I will conquer that fear one day. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 01:17, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
Seek help. Seriously. Stop blaming others and take responsibility for yourself. You've no excuses. In the meantime, please edit some encyclopedia. Ok - I'm done - Alison 04:29, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
I have had disdain for females since the new jack swing era. There are many reasons for that. My disdain for females reached its peak during my sophomore year in high school. I have been feeling scars of sexism in me for years since. It is very difficult to get over sexism completely. I grew up with two brothers and no sister. I have a nephew but no niece, and my brother is breaking up with my nephew's mother. I have had too many problems with females as it is. Women have treated me worse than men throughout these years of my life. Our culture has also influenced my views toward women, and radical feminists have a lot to do with that. Both anti-male and anti-female sites influence me to dislike females, and the former does more so. The volume of visitors to anti-male sites is much larger than that of anti-female sites. A lot of media glorifies the female sex and vilifies the male sex, and that is one reason why I have disdain for females. We live in a culture that gives male interests a bad reputation. Gender double standard also influenced my views toward females. I feel that women are totally unaccountable. In the fictional standpoint, male characters are more likely to be notable than female characters. Wikipedia articles on female characters are more likely going to be deleted than those on male characters. If Fire Emblem is represented in Super Smash Bros. Brawl with only male characters as playable characters and female characters as Assist Trophies, that will heighten my disdain for females. This conversation is long over. Stop using your talk page to soapbox your personal views. As for sexism, you should see life from the other side of the fence. - Alison 22:23, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Please stop

I would like to kindly request that you try to stay away from expounding your own personal views, writing a detailed biography, and discussing your personal life on-wiki. Wikipedia is a project to build an encyclopedia; it is not a soapbox, or a social networking service, and your behavior seems to be antithetical to this effort. De-merge Ayra and Sigurd (Fire Emblem)

Because of the situation with TTN, I have decided that I am against the merger done by Ashnard. I am considering to undo the merger done by Ashnard. Because of all that valuable plot and real-world information, I have decided that Sigurd and Ayra from Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu are really worthy of having their own articles, although Ayra is allegedly insignificant. I have defended the Ayra article before. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 00:44, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Both me and you know that the merge wasn't the best merge. The thing is, without actually playing the game, it's hard to kow what's relevant. The plan was always to merge and clean it up—which is what you've done to an extent (the clean-ip part). If you feel that there is valuable info lost, then you can always bring back the history from the old page and edit some parts back in. I just don't see why an article is needed. Thank you. Some Wikipedians involved in the articles pertaining to Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu did not actually play the game. I actually did play the game in English (because of fan translation) all the way through at least once. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 00:43, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

I have put the image back into the article List of characters in Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu. It was taken out by TTN in the process of cutting down that section. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 00:41, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
