Deletion discussion about Green Drinks (vegetables)

[edit]

Hello, Voidz,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Green Drinks (vegetables) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Green Drinks (vegetables) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Barney the barney barney (talk) 18:29, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:PeaceMagazine(1991).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Stefan2 (talk) 18:20, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Kinetic Band, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". See report here about the copyright infringement at Netherlands_Red_Cross. Only 8 matching phrases and am wondering what can I replace figures with? Can 610,000 be put to be something else? Do I rewrite their motto with any other words? Let me know if that is possible unless we decide to put in lies in there. Mojoemoji (talk) 18:57, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This page => Netherlands Red Cross should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because I have reworded the article to the best I can. There are some statements that must appear as they are from the source like the motto and name of the organization and its mother organization. Some numbers like the number of volunteers and staff must also appear as they are from the source. Some terms like Red cross must also appear as they are at the source unless the terms and numbers are metamorphosing to something else once they come to Wikipedia. See dup report here Mojoemoji (talk) 19:12, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is to inform you that an article that you wrote recently, Frostbox, has been tagged with a notability notice. This means that it may not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. The article Matt Janaway has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOTABILITY - this article is sourced solely to self-written materials and databases. "Matt Janaway" gets zero gnews hits.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article Hairline Illusions has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

What is up?

[edit]

Voidz, I've been going through the articles that you've created, and they seem to be generally weakly sourced articles for topics that have no reasonable source for notability in them, and for items that do not appear to be notable with research. This leaves me wondering whether you are simply unfamiliar with the Wikipedia guidelines on notability and reliable sources, or whether you are editing here with the intent to create promotional pages, or whether there is some other possible explanation for this that I am missing. Let me know if I can help you sort out what you're doing, so that in the future neither your time nor other editors' time is wasted in dealing with such matters. --Nat Gertler (talk) 04:10, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Book Cover-forThe-Day-Angel.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Book Cover-forThe-Day-Angel.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:05, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Voidz. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, The MonsterJunkies (novel), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks,  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 17:15, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
