[edit]

First off, may I suggest you review Wikipedia's policies concerning conduct, I think you'll find that your recent edit summary is not in keeping with them. Second off, yes, you're correct that users are more than welcome to delete their talk pages if they so wish but, given the fact that talk pages are a useful way for all users (including you) to communicate, you may find it more appropriate to archive yours. RaseaC (talk) 22:30, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Users are not stupid bots that go around trolling images on Wikipedia. I don't care about that crap. As for archiving, that's what the nice little history tab at the top of this talk page is for.

If an actual user ever needs to communicate with me, I will see their post on this talk page. I only wiped it due to botspam. Xizer (talk) 22:34, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

THanks for your reply. How delightful to have communicated with you. It's obvious that you need more help than Wikipedia's policies can deliver. Good luck with that. RaseaC (talk) 22:38, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2 1/2

[edit]

Hi Xizer,

I'm just wondering whether this edit had anything to do with Steve Colbert's appeal? :-) Since going from 8000 to 20,000 is a factor of 2 1/2, not quite 3, "tripled" doesn't seem quite right. Just checking...

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Upper Peninsula War, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.dtownie.com/2007/06/07/the-upper-peninsula-war. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 08:49, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Upper Peninsula War, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Upper Peninsula War is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Upper Peninsula War saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Hi there - you keep inserting the statement that Obama is a grammy award-winning presidential candidate. As true as that is, it does not belong in the lead of his biography article. Please take the cue that people are removing it. That's got plenty of mention elsewhere in the encyclopedia, for example in the "Dreams from My Father" section in the middle of the article. Please don't insert it again into the lead - take a look at the "article probation" notice on the talk page, and also the policy WP:3RR for some explanations of why not to keep reverting things. You may be temporarily blocked from further editing the encyclopedia if you do. Thanks, Wikidemo (talk) 09:01, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Three revert rule

[edit]
Warning
Warning

I think there is something I will have to explain to you. You are the one who reverts peoples edits and removes referenced and absolutely legitimate materials;not once, not twice but many times. You were even blocked for violating three revert rule by Husond. From someone who is engaged in that kind of violations and many other controversial edits - as one can see on your talk page - I think it is time for you to stop posting this spam like messages on every talk page and look at your own edit history. What you are doing is wrong. Stop warning innocent people against violating three revert rule when you were blocked for the very same violation just recently.[1]--Satt 2 (talk) 14:01, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, you have been blocked for violating WP:3RR again shortly after your last block. When the current block expires, please refrain from edit warring, and engage in constructive discussions on the talk pages instead of attempting to enforce unilateral edits. Thank you. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Mk3 motaro.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mk3 motaro.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:18, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Your edits to this article reflect the product in an overly negative light. The article should not be a list of missing features; it should be an encyclopedic description. There is a place for mention of missing features - critical reaction to these should, where appropriate, be placed in the Reception section. Also, the older version of the article, before you reverted many recent changes, was much more lucid and grammatically correct. CalumCookable (talk) 11:53, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Your recent edits seem to have the appearance of edit warring after a review of the reverts you have made on William Adams (judge). Users are expected to collaborate and discuss with others and avoid editing disruptively.

Please be particularly aware, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dr.K. λogosπraxis 02:29, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
