Thanks for a cracking good article. I am not a barnstar, cookie (etc.) type giving person, but your creation is a fine homage to this gentleman. Incidentally, I am a Yorkshire supporter and (almost needless to say) a 'dyed in the wool' Yorkie. Seriously, well done, you Southern marshmallow.

Haha, thank you very much. Always glad to hear positive things said of my articles. :) — AMBerry (talk) 15:08, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your excellent article. Les Todd was married to my grandfather's cousin, Ivy Stone. I remember him well - he could be quite bad tempered! I've added your article to my family tree. Do you have anywhere his brother's name? It's been annoying me for days that I can't remember it!!

Thanks again. Joy Bailey95.148.240.123 (talk) 19:54, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Autoreviewer[edit]

Hi AMBerry, after seeing one of your articles at newpage patrol, I was surprised to see that an editor who contributes such interesting well written articles hadn't already been approved as an wp:Autoreviewer. So I've taken the liberty of rectifying that. ϢereSpielChequers 23:13, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox cricket club season[edit]

Hi, was just having a look at your template for cricket club season infoboxes, and wondered if it would benefit from being expanded slightly. I've come up with a mock-up (though not entirely complete) in my sandbox and wondered what you thought? I think adding in leading run-scorers for each competition would be useful, as an overall total of runs etc may not always tell the whole story. It's not perfect and the code is a bit hit and miss, but look at the idea rather than the technicalities maybe! Harrias talk 14:15, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:02, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Merge proposal[edit]

Hi. On the off chance you might see this, I've proposed some mergers on Kent CCC pages you created and are the main editor on. The merger discussions will likely take place at Talk:List of Kent first-class cricket records and Talk:List of Kent County Cricket Club first-class captains. Thanks. Notice

The article 2003 Cricket World Cup statistics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Breaches WP:NOTSTATS and serves no useful purpose. Could perhaps merge the top line of each table into the main 2003 Cricket World Cup article but no more than that.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
