Hello. Thanks for uploading File:Indian Officers of 29th DCO Bombay Infantry 1899.jpg. There is a problem with this. You say this is your own work, but unless you are very old indeed you did not take this photograph in 1899. Scanning a photograph doesn't make it your own work. Can you say where you got this from? A book, if so which one? A website, if so which one? ... The same probably applies to the other images mentioned above. Official photographs are certainly in the public domain, pictures taken in India (before or after 1947) could be in the public domain if published. Hello. If you want to donate these pictures to be used on Wikipedia, please have a look at Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries. But it is likely that these pictures are in the public domain. If you have more information on how and when they were taken we can determine that. The 18th Lancers at Mametz picture and the Lovett illustration are. The 1899 picture, if published, would have been too. You can just leave any messages here and I will check back. POV edits

Your changes to old British Indian Army articles to remove Ind-mil stub are POV. Ind-mil stubs contain all stubs of units part of the present Indian Army or the old British Indian Army. You are welcome to add pak-mil-stub templates to all battalions forming part of the Pakistan Army but please do not remove existing stubs. AshLin (talk) 16:53, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

The obvious solution therein is to create a British Indian Army Stub so that the articles could each have appropriate national stub and a British Indian Army stub. Let us see if we can get a new stub authorised in the wikiproject. In the meantime go ahead with adding your pak-mil-stubs. Once we get the new stub ready, we can change the stubs appropriately. I have created a new stub template {{BritishIndia-mil-stub}}. Each unit/corps/formation of the old British Indian Army will need to have this stub template, in addition to {{India-mil-stub}} or {{Pakistan-mil-stub}} depending on which army it became part of. Baloch Regiment

Hello. Firstly may I congratulate you on the way in which you have expanded and developed the complex history of the modern Baloch Regiment. I created this article back in 2007 but with the limited material to which I have access (I live in New Zealand) I was unable to provide more than a sparse summary. Other editors subsequently expanded this but until you began your very detailed input the article never received the attention that the subject warranted. One minor issue that I would like to raise though is your recent breaking up of the section dealing with "Insignia and Uniforms" into two passages without sub-headings. This topic is a secondary one by comparison with say battle honours or organisation, but it would be of interest to some readers. Because of the amount of material incorporated in the article it could now be difficult to find. Would you have any objection to my recreating this sub-section under its own heading - with separate paragraphs covering (i) the pre-Indepence regiments and (ii) the modern regiment?
