Windscale fire

Hi Siphon06. I noticed you removed the text saying: "with a 2007 study estimating 240 additional cases of cancer." Your edit summary says: "removed unverfiable claim of 240 deaths in the BBC source as stated before. There is no "study" in the reference showing 240 deaths. It is a non referenced news article with no verifiability of claims or methods".

The source was this BBC article: [1] and that refers quite clearly to a "new study carried out by John Garland, formerly of the UK Atomic Energy Authority, and Richard Wakeford, a visiting professor at the University of Manchester". Do you think it might be better to use that original report (if it is still available and accessible) as the source for the claim, rather than just delete the claim altogether? Thanks. Managing a conflict of interest

Ok, fine I'll leave it like this. I'm a bit surprised at all this though. As I mentioned the website content has now been changed to the correct license, SA which is free content. The issue was the website had the incorrect license displayed when it was SA all along. This removes the point about copyright altogether but you've not bothered to check the website I see. www.thorconpower.com, bottom of the page, it clearly states licensed CC-BY-SA. ArbCom 2018 election voter message

Hello, Siphon06. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
