I do realize that, but it doesnt change the fact that it has no place on Bautista's page because the accusation is baseless. The announcer said it, and alot of announcers have said things about Bautista and other players. Should we add everything ever said about anyone? No, and especially not where there is no proof. A Discussion would be nice before you undo 2 of my contributions

I can see you followed my recent contributions in Wikipedia and undid two of my recent works. Would you like to discuss about it? Give a reason for your UNDOING revisions? I am sure you probably did not know about Gunsite Academy being founded by Jeff Cooper himself until I link the pages together and mentioned it? We could discuss this Gunsite Scout Rifle if you wished to. Now undoing Surly because I am sure most people do not know what that word means. There are many disambiguation pages that carries a short definition of the word and links. Sorry but I guess my vocabulary did not include Surly and so when I searched my favorite reference site I was not given a proper answer. Now I had to look up in the dictionary http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/surly and I decided to include it on Wikipedia for others as a quick reference. You didn't fix anything - nothing was broken. The year links to the main article (ie 2011 links to Miss USA 2011). The individual person (which your example has titled "Miss California USA 2011") has a NAME, and if that person is notable enough to satisfy Wiki's notability standards, they will have their own page (linked to their NAME, not their TITLE). To help illustrate my point, notice that Rima Fakih has her own page, which is not called "Miss USA 2010". That is her TITLE, not her NAME. I hope this explains why your edits were indeed disruptive. I think you're missing the point here. The page is better with its' piped wikilinks - it provides more information to the user. The pages you're suggesting a link to do not exist, therefore no change was needed, not a complete unlinking of every page. This is the opinion of every editor who has voiced their opinion on this topic - you are the only one who thinks this needs change. To me, this would constitute a clear consensus that nothing needed to be changed. The fact that you continued to make these changes after you were warned (3 times!) illustrates to me that you do not yet understand the way things work on Wikipedia. When you get a new message notification (the yellowish orange bar accross the top of your screen) you should really look into is ASAP, as the message more tha likely relates to something you edited recently (which may have helped to avoid additional reverting of your edits and continued warnings). I don't want to come off as rude, but you should really to read up on what is expected from editors. WP:HELP helped me quite a bit when I was a new editor and I think it will help you too. Removal of references? That whole team rewards section is one that I added MYSELF. Those references, I realized, are unnecessary, the same way there are no references next to his Hank Aaron and All Star mentions. Having all those citations in the accomplishments box, is in fact a clutter, and if when I added that section (Team Rewards), had I not added those citations in the first place, we wouldn't even be talking about this. I've said it multiple times, I don't have any problem whatsoever with you editing my revisions. I feel it would be better off if you would. My only quarrel is with you undo'ing the whole entire revision for a few mistakes and glitches. Cleaning up my revisions is perfectly fine with me, but it's irritating to spend time on a revision just to have it undone over a few small errors that could have easily been edited. No, you won't be blocked, so long as what you do add can be verified through the use of a reference. Generally spring training games are not very important, but you could add something like "For the 2012 season, Lawrie is a member of the 40-man roster and played with the Blue Jays during Spring Training.", and add statistics after spring training has concluded (i.e. .xxx batting average, xx hits, etc) as long as its referenced. Guest lists in AGoT episodes

Thanks for adding to the articles, but I'd previously removed many of those listings per feedback in the Good Article process. Normally, only up to a handful of actors are credited in episodes, and the feedback I received was that there were already too many minor characters listed. Hi, I have already been over this with another editor, but it may warrant placement of a hidden comment in the text since this seems to be a common misconception that someone has bowdlerized or censored the quote from a reliable source. Indeed the quote itself says precisely 'You know you smoke way too much f****n' weed.'. Watch the video accompanying it and you will see that the word is bleeped, so there is no way (other than using original research to know what word Cyrus said and we should not be inserting our own interpretation when a direct quote from a source is used. The Prince of Winterfell

Trut-h-urts, I've reverted to a redirect, for a couple of reasons. There is indication that the episode is independently notable and deserves an article in the first place, there are no references for it whatsoever and as such it's equivalent to, for instance, an album that has only a tracklist, and the episode hasn't even aired yet. I don't want to get into a pissing contest, and I'm not going to plow through and find the others (which you suggest exist also), but our guidelines do not support the existence for such an article. When the episode airs, and when references can be added to support notability, it can easily be restored. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 14:18, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

My revert was automatic to me, as we're now almost 8 weeks into this season of GoT and this has been the way its been done since the start. I'm sorry to bother, but whats-his-face & I have been gnawing one another's faces off about the cast & 24 issue all day today. I think a consensus can be found for the two shows to be related; both share similar styles, themes, producers & writers-- as well as production studios. In the same sense, if you were to say the two aren't related, then you would have no choice but to say that Breaking Bad and Mad Men weren't sister series-- and that would be plain ridiculous.

I don't have a problem removing the related show, but please don't mess with the cast edit which I think is more than necessary. Thanks.

First off, "whats-his-face" has a name (or username, if you'd prefer), and you'd do well to learn it and show some mutual respect. In my experience here, we do not make major changes without consensus, which is clearly lacking in your cast list reduction and "24" listing as a related series. I unserstand that the two wrote for both series, and the theme is certainly similar, but they do not take place in the same universe (i.e. "Cheers" and "Frasier"). Your example of "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad" along the same lines, but is incorrect. If Don Draper appeared as an old man in Breaking Bad, you might have a case, but I sincerely hope that never happens (crossover episodes are usually terrible). If Jack Bauer appears in Homeland, that could be enough for inclusion, but in my personal opinion it would need to happen a few times to be sure. The cast list for the Homeland page is not excessive. In cases where the list is excessive (see the Game of Thrones page history) it is reduced or even redirected, but never without consensus. You should read WP:3RR as soon as possible, and begin a discussion on the talk page where other editors can voice their opinion. Until a consensus is reached, the page will remain as is. That might be the funniest thing I've ever had on my talk page. If I am deciphering your broken english correctly, you don't agree with my reasoning for reverting your "contribution" to Wikipedia. I wouldn't argue that you need pills or surgery, only to familiarize yourself with policy. I assumed that you had read one or more reliable sources regarding the trade, and how it is not official yet. I also assumed you could read the banner at the top of the page for each affected player. Here it is just in case you want to give it a once-over. I had to laugh when you said you are a Yankees fan, as the first thing that came to mind is that you're a "Crankees fan". I could care less if you want the Blue Jays to fail. I want the Yankees to fail, but you could care less too. When I started editing I was told that that information was not added to the infobox until the season started, as nothing is guaranteed. Gibbons could be fired tomorrow or even die, having not coached a single 2013 game. Also, saying "2013-present" is incorrect, as the current year is 2012. Hopefully this clears things up. With reference to your persitant overuse of the citation tag on the Karen David page and the posting of another type of template. I have been in discussions from the start with Administrators as to my connections with Karen David and that a group of fans has created/improved her wiki page. This is quite acceptable to wiki admin and I feel no reason to discuss it with you. Please remove the template from the heading immediately or I will report you for vandalism. On the issue of overuse of the citation tag, it clearly goes against wiki policy and you made no attempt to retain the look of the page by contacting anyone with your views, if indeed it was you who placed them, I don't know this for sure. I don't believe you had the best interests of wiki at heart, although I will concede that some referencing material is necessary and I and others are working on finding some at this very moment. The most important rule of Wikipedia is verifiability, especially on pages of living persons, which that page is clearly in violation of. The vast majority of information on the page is not accompanied by a reliable source. You are correct on one issue - I should not have added "citation needed tags" to the page. If you'll look to citation needed page, it clearly states that unsourced/poorly sourced information on a BLP page should be immediately removed, and not tagged.

Where is your conversation with this anonymous "wiki admin"? The one that you claim has no issue with you and a "group of fans improving" the page without citing reliable sources? I would very much like to read it. As it stands right now, the page is in major violation of BLP and I will not remove the Ref Improve tag, nor will I remove the COI tag. What I or other editors should do is remove everything from the page that is not accompanied by a reliable source, but I'm only mostly an asshole and not a complete one. If you (or others) add reliable sources to back what is on the page it can stay. Until you (or others) do, the tags stay. Threats will get you nowhere. Go ahead and contact anyone you like. While I know the other subject is notable enough to have their own page, the baseball player is clearly more notable currently (716,000 results for "James Loney baseball vs. 42,700 for "James Loney activist"). When I requested help the page was still in the middle of the tug of war between anonymous editors jumping the gun and those of us who look before we leap. I thought I would back off until the deal became official, and since then I've been bogged down with more "free agent frenzy". I've added more info and a hghly reliable source (MLB.com & the Royals official website) to the "pending trade" mention on the Shields article. Left in the "pending a physical" so no one will get their panties in a twist again, but if the trade is announced on the teams official website it seems pretty relaible and a done deal to me, barring some unforseen circumstance of course. Granted we all strive for accuracy, but there's such a thing as taking it too far and being obtuse just to prove we're the Wiki "alpha dog". I think that's where the lines are getting crossed up. I've read most articles related to this trade and have yet to read "official" and anything about passed physicals. Most say "reported", which in my mind is not official. It's not about being the "alpha dog" or "obtuse" as you wrote, it's about being the most accurate we can be. James Shields.....Again!

Could you please give me the benefit of your raeasoning for your latest edit to the James Shields article? You reverted the Kansas Ciy Royals from the article infobox despite the fact that the trade has been verified by multiple sources, and he is mentioned in the article opener as being a Royal. So how would WP:Crystal apply? For cryin out loud the Royals own official website has an article with big photo of Shields with team officials holding up a Royals jersey with his name on it. That information doesn't go in the inforbox until a player makes an appearance for a team. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, in that we don't make predictions. If Shields is traded tomorrow having not made an appearance, or should suffer an injury that sidelines him for the season, we look pretty stupid by having that line there. Question about episode deletes?

Hello-I'm curious about your edit to Storage Wars, [[3]] I didn't change anything, but I was on-the-verge of re-inserting some episode references when I noticed the wholesale deletions that you did in that respect. I'm hoping that you can point me in the direction of the policy in that matter since I am starting to notice that in other edits of other television shows so I'm wondering if there is a good reason for taking episode references out when they are mentioned? I removed the specific episodes from the secondary person descriptions because they are unsourced, and really aren't important to the description of that person. The descriptions of characters (or in this case, "real" people) on a TV series page are intended to be kept short and to the facts. Having the titles of the episodes in which these secondary persons appear bloats the page, but doesn't really add much. However, if something noteworthy happened in one of these episodes (i.e. Person XXXX bought a storage unit in episode YYYY and found a one-of-a-kind ZZZZ) and this was accompanied by a reliable source, it could and should be included. If you're dead-set on including this info, I would suggest taking it to the List of Storage Wars episodes and adding these secondary character appearances to the episode summaries (i.e. "Person XXXX appears in this episode in addition to the principal cast"). I will look at the removed eps. again, because there may have been at least one which was noteworthy for some commotion that was referenced in some other sources (but not mentioned on the episode guide?). It was just a co-incidence that I have seen the same thing done different ways. Now, passing over the matter of existence of "WEAPON" form, MOS:ALLCAPS says even if the form exists, all caps may not be used in Wikipedia except in two exceptional cases.

I think we are confusing the original 1997 PS1 version with the more recent re-release versions on PSN and the Square-Enix website (basing my assumption on your screenshots, which appear to be from a PSP/PSVita). I'm certainly not concerned with the validity of your images - I think we're both acting in good faith. In the original 1997 release, they are, without a doubt, referred to as "WEAPONs" on several occasions, as well as in the official strategy guide (which I can provide screenshots of). I have dug up my copy from '97 and am searching for old memory cards at the moment to get a screenshot for you, really just to prove I'm not completely off my rocker. You should note that Gaia (Final Fantasy VII) also uses the "WEAPON" spelling, and both pages use "AVALANCHE" and "SOLDIER" (I am unsure if these carried over to the download version). This is purely speculative, but I imagine the WEAPON spelling was used to differentiate between the bosses and the weapons you equip the characters with.

Where I get into a bit of a grey area is the reasoning with MOS:ALLCAPS. The "WEAPON" spelling is neither newspaper headline, track title, court decision, proclamation, trademark, latin quote or used for emphasis. Furthermore, the policy does not say it cannot be used, only that we as editors should "Avoid writing with all capitals..." and "reduce...as appropriate". Also important is this direct quote from the top of the page "...words and phrases that are consistently capitalized in sources are treated as proper names and capitalized in Wikipedia" which applies to the situation. In my personal opinion, reducing the "WEAPON" to lower case is not appropriate, as it then becomes difficult for readers to differentiate between the bosses and the equipment. I will hopefully soon secure a picture of the WEAPON spelling in use in the game and will post it here once I have it. Best wishes for the Easter season. Removals

Why do you keep removing the things that I change they are valid.

Your edits that I reverted/corrected are adding improper capitalization (i.e. your edit "Starting Pitcher" should be "Starting pitcher", etc). In addition, "Closer" is a role on a team, and not a position. If a pitcher isn't a starter, he's a relief pitcher, or just "pitcher" for position. It's not a position. The position being played is "pitcher". Tehcnically speaking, and in my opinion, "Starting pitcher" and "Relief pitcher" are incorrect as well, but they seem to be quite prevalent on Wikipedia. Closer is a role on a team, and usually changes hands during a season. A pitcher will always be a pitcher, but only occasionally a closer, so the use of closer is incorrect in the infobox. The fact that a pitcher may act as a team's closer during a season should definitely be included in the article (especially in the event that they remain in that role for a significant amount of time, or record a large number of saves), but not in the infobox position value. It is worth noting that all of the players on the 300 saves club page list either "Pitcher" or "Relief pitcher" in their infoboxes. Trut-h-urts man (T • C) 03:44, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

My intention isn't to "get in your way" or "bother you". I was hoping to get you to change the way you were editing, that you might continue to edit and improve Wikipedia. You were doing something wrong, and even though it was relatively minor, it was wrong. It is a simple thing to discontinue changing "Free agent" to "Free Agent" or "Starting pitcher" to "Starting Pitcher". It is one or two capital letters, but you felt the need to escalate the problem to a rude talkback a few lines above this, perhaps because you thought I was carrying out some kind of vendetta against you (which is not the case).
