Report

User:Athenean has reported a case including you here [1]. You may want to comment to defend yourself against this user's claims.--Kushtrim123 (talk) 06:53, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
I wrote a message and gladly now that ridiculous report is over.--ZjarriRrethues (talk) 19:29, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
I see You removed twice a relevant map, without consensus. Since I see you are a new user here, please feel free to check wp:what wikipedia is. Moreover you should be carefull when removing informative tags, it can be considered a hostile reaction.Alexikoua (talk) 19:55, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
The template you added was about me deleting information without explaining why. Now that is irrelevant with what you are saying at the moment. Try being more accurate in the future and when you write on my talkpage don't post in existing discussions but start a new one. Yes, I am a new user but with all these gadgets I can enable in my preferences tab I don't think it will be hard to start editing like the rest of editors.--ZjarriRrethues (talk) 20:01, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Ethnic to Ethno-religious?

This map is "Ethnic composition map of the Balkans by A. Synvet of 1877, a French professor of the Ottoman Lyceum of Constantinople." an Ethnographic map, not your invented Ethno-religious "term". Please don't remove the map and vandalize the term again.Megistias (talk) 10:08, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
I didn't remove the map and I just used a term which reflected what the map represents. Unless you think that "Mussulmans" refers to some nation and not to religion.--ZjarriRrethues (talk) 10:10, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Welcome

Welcome to wikipedia and thank you for your excellent contributions! I left you a message here ([2]). Please feel free to browse my user page and have a look at the 60+ articles that I have created. I noticed your interest in the Battle of Vlora. Would you mind collaborating in an article regarding Selam Musai? I intend to do another one about Mic Sokoli and Vojo Kushi, all three of them were rare examples of extraordinary bravery acts. I would start with Selam Musai though. Third, I added your name here, hope that's OK. --sulmues (talk) 14:15, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Great! I think I have some sources and maybe a picture of a painting depicting Selam Musai. Do you have an email were I could send you the sources and the picture, so you can use them too as sources.--ZjarriRrethues (talk) 15:08, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
I don't use email for Wikipedia, but you can list the sources right here, and I'll start the article as soon as you have 2-3 of them, unless you want to write it yourself. Regarding the picture: Commons' rules are very strict and we should be careful, but that has to be done at a later moment. Let's start the article first and once we're at a good point (meaning well sourced, no naming for deletion, and properly categorized, I'll take care of all that), then we discuss a picture. --sulmues (talk) 15:21, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

OK, no problem. Let's start!--ZjarriRrethues (talk) 15:23, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Muin Cami, Polikron Tamburi, Agron Fico, Suzana Xhajanka, Nonda Bulka, Haxhi Lleshi, and even Enver Hoxha are good sources [3]. --sulmues (talk) 15:27, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
I also have a copy of the first tome of the Enciklopedia Jugshqiptare. Since it was written by academy of science members I think it should be a good source.--ZjarriRrethues (talk) 15:29, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
That is of course a fantastic source (tertiary (wp:rs) (Also here)), so the best, because it's coming out of an encyclopedia. The fact that it's blessed by the Academy of Sciences of Albania adds relevance. Please report here in English (or Albanian, it wouldn't matter) what Enciklopedia Jugshqiptare says. By tomorrow we'll have the article. --sulmues (talk) 15:31, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Great!I installed a gadget from the preferences which lets you add references quickly that will speed up things and make them easier to add. I still can't add notes easily.--ZjarriRrethues (talk) 15:38, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Task force

I have uploaded some references and links you might wanna check. P.S. More to come;) bests Aigest (talk) 15:11, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

Please see a note elsewhere

Please see my note at Talk:Albanian nationalism#Fully_protected_for_one_week, which mentions your edits. In case anyone doesn't know, this article is under the WP:DIGWUREN Arbcom case, and admins are aware it may suffer from nationalistic editing. EdJohnston (talk) 19:01, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Your edit here is not in accordance with WP:BRD, i.e 'Bold Revert Discuss.' You made some bold removals from the article, now you see that others disagree with the removals, you should go to the talk page to find support for your changes. Until consensus is reached, you should not keep reverting the article (See WP:EW). If deadlock is reached, used WP:RFC to bring in more people to the discussion. EdJohnston (talk) 20:37, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

OK, no problem. Can I by myself ask other people to participate in the discussion if they want to?--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 21:09, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

If you read WP:RFC, you will see that a Request for Comment may be announced in various places. Personally, I would be impressed if you could get support from User:Dbachmann for your changes. He has scholarly background and I think he is not much affected by nationalist passions. Certainly, if any Greek editors were to back you up, that would be encouraging as well, even if you can't depend on their always being perfectly neutral. This article tends to be a plaything of the nationalists, and three editors who've worked on it before are currently blocked: I Pakapshem, Obsersturmfuhrer and Kreshnik25. EdJohnston (talk) 23:31, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Maybe I'll ask this Dbachmann to take a look at my rationale. You're the only I've asked to take part so far, so can you participate? An "outsider" view would be useful--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 00:04, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
As an admin who is trying to prevent warring on this article, it is simpler if I don't take a position on the content. EdJohnston (talk) 00:32, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
I don't intend to make another edit until a discussion is partially complete, so there won't be anything to "prevent". That puts you out of the tough spot, so could you comment?--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 00:36, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Pearson

I've reverted your recent edit in Korca since it was based on a tertiary & dubious source (Pearson).Alexikoua (talk) 15:30, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Why is Pearson a "dubious source"? If you can bring some evidence that prove he is a "dubious source", then I have no problem otherwise don't remove it.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 15:50, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Updated DYK query On March 27, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Drangue, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Request

Hi ZjarriRrethues. Could you refrain from posting in languages other than English on the English language Wikipedia, please? This is second time to inform you this. Thanks. --Tadijataking 16:35, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

What's the problem here? Writing in a non-English language on user talk pages is permitted.UBER (talk) 16:42, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
No, it's not. This is English wikipedia. Writings may be in any possible language, but translation then must be written under. Zjarri, i will revert your edit. Enforcement request should look like i edited. It is different form then regular discussion. --Tadijataking 17:17, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Your edit is there, and of course "it looks like you edited", please don't edit my replies.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 17:33, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
But my friend, i am trying to fix request! Not your comments! As you may see from all other enforcement requests, all of them have specific form. You cannot respond to each and everyone reply. You have your own space, and you respond there, if you want. But you should only say what you have abour enforcement subject, not other editors involved. I dont want to change anything, but, per enforcement rules, it should look like that. When you move comment, that small tag should be added. But now, tag is still there, and you moved it. It was not moved there by me. Just see other requests. They are as i explained you. Can i now fix it? Not your reply's just to move it. Waiting for your reply. --Tadijataking 17:51, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
And also, you cannot change your comment when new information are available. I responded to different question. --Tadijataking 17:55, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
I should have been clearer when I said "virtually" and now I am, that's not a problem I think.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 17:57, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
But, it is. When i respond, you cannot edit it any more. You can reply again, but cannot change. Please, revert it. Also, you didn't responded. Those comments are not other, they are by you. You have your space above. Can i fix template now? --Tadijataking 18:03, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
I already fixed them all in chronological order and I can modify my comments since the context remains the same.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 18:04, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Where does it say that writing in a non-English language is not permitted on user talk pages?UBER (talk) 18:10, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
I just fixed "small" markup. I should also inform you to add spaces on the beginning of your reply's, just to know to whom is intended. :@Tadija, or something like that. Also, can i ask you to delete your "dont edit reply's" as i didn't edit your reply's. It was just move. :) --Tadijataking 18:18, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Every modification is an edit by default.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 18:19, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Maybe, but that is not ok. Please, delete that, as it has no meaning purpose in that request anymore. Or i will. As we agreed here now, i have rights to delete it also, as it is not part of that. Please, show some flexibility. --Tadijataking 18:29, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
@Uber - You can, but you must provide English translation below. This is English Wikipedia, so all should be in English. I will inform someone to send you links regarding that. --Tadijataking 18:29, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

For the third time:please don't edit my replies.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 18:32, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

OK, i will try to explain you ones again. After rollercoster of your edit, i finally explained you that your edits are NOT in the right place. I moved it, you reverted it, i send you note, you reverted, make a mess out of request, i spend hour explaining, so you agree, and revert to my version, to the regular request look. I am asking to delete note's you write while you still didnt understand what i do, and now you dont want. Why? --Tadijataking 18:39, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Tadija, can you point me to the specific policy that says we need translations for non-English conversations in user talk pages? I'd like to take you at your word, but I want to make sure.UBER (talk) 18:41, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Ask User:Toddst1. I cant remember where is it. Say to him that i sent you with that question. All best! --Tadijataking 18:43, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
I am aware of the following in WP:TALK:
Use English: No matter to whom you address a comment, it is preferred that you use English on English Wikipedia talk pages. This is so that comments may be comprehensible to the community at large. If the use of another language is unavoidable, try to also provide a translation of the comments. If you are requested to do so and cannot, you should either find a third party to translate or to contact a translator through the Wikipedia:Embassy.
But that states it's a preference, not a hard requirement. Furthermore, we were not discussing anything of substantial value (we were saying hello to one another), so I doubt any of this is that important. It would be very important if we were on an article talk page or a Wikipedia talk page, but on a user talk page...I don't see what the fuss is all about.UBER (talk) 18:45, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Well, how can anyone know is it important or not, without translation? :) Talk to Todd. --Tadijataking 18:48, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Even if it was important, it's a user talk page. That automatically demotes its significance since our casual readers aren't hanging around our every word in our userspace. In articlespace or wikispace, I would definitely agree that English should be the only language used (or a translation provided) every single time. The restrictions can be relaxed on user talk pages.UBER (talk) 18:51, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
As far as i know, it is used in order to stop meatpuppetery. That is good reason, agree? :) --Tadijataking 18:55, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

I would think it's primarily used so that other English speakers can understand what's being said, but yes I do agree that meatpuppetry is a major concern as well. In four years at Wikipedia, I've used Albanian three or four times on user talk pages, all as part of friendly gestures. I really don't think it's a big deal, and since I don't want to waste my time any further here, this statement concludes my remarks.UBER (talk) 19:02, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Is it Ok with you if I write the article? I noticed your interest in Albanian mythology topics. Best! --sulmues (talk) 19:38, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Sure :).--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 19:40, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

As soon as the reporting will end I'll write two articles: Kostandini and Doruntina, as Albanian legend/ballad, followed by Besa e Kostandinit, which will fall under Albanian mythology. I want to bring here the ballad in the tosk version, the gheg version is too hard to find:

The tosk version ends like this (mother and daughter):

Nje ne prag e nje ne dere, Plasne si qelqet me vere

And I haven't forgotten about Selam Musai, but I have been reported twice in the last 2-3 weeks, so I never get the time. --sulmues (talk) 19:43, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Take a look here Kostandin_and_Doruntine please. --sulmues (talk) 20:22, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Sure.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 20:39, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Take also a look at Selam Musai, please. --sulmues (talk) 01:34, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
Hopefully I won't be topic banned, but until a decision is to be made, I intend to write an article on Mic Sokoli. You said that you have a pic, did you get a chance to upload in Commons? --sulmues talk contributions 16:15, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
I also wanted to get you comfy with this article that I created (Civil_awards_and_decorations_of_Albania), which is the core of all the other awards. Receipt of such awards make people notable and they won't go easily to AfD. --sulmues talk contributions 16:58, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Going back to Constantin and Doruntine: could you please consider moving it back to (Constantin and Doruntine)? This should be the English version. If we wanted an Albanian version with e-umlaut, we would put Kostandini dhe Doruntina. But this is now an international piece, usually known in literature by "Doruntine". I am not extremely sure, but the version to which you moved it is a mismatch with English and Albanian. --sulmues talk contributions 12:24, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

I was about to message you about that. Could you make a template for Wikiproject Albania? I asked some experienced editors and it seems that the current template is for wikiproject Europe not for Wikiproject Albania and it just shows their importance or class in the Wikiproject Europe. Also you shouldn't rate as GA class articles but only up to B class. When I wrote my first DYK, I learned about the various classes and basically you can't rate yourself articles as GA, FA or FL.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 15:20, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

Re: DYK tools

As you can see from my monobook, I use Dr pda's code. Upon installing it and refreshing my cache, there would be a 'page size' link in my toolbox at the left hand tabs. All I do is click that and the prose size would be calculated immediately. No page loading whatsoever. I've never used Shubinator's tool, so I can't say whether it's better than Dr pda's tool. However, I took a look at DykCheck's page and it seems that it has more features than the one I'm using. Anyway, you can try either one. If it does not work for you, just uninstall it. help?

Always appreciative help - you spotting the prison was clever. I notice that the article which mentions the prison says its last prisoner was in the 1820s .... our ref says no! .... still maybe the next person will be able to sort out the contradiction. Anyway cheers! 19:34, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

I didn't add anything about the prison, I added the excommunication part, but I'll try to sort out the contradiction asap.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 20:05, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

I got carried away. E dinin qe do vdisnin dhe s'tradhtuan kurre Vatikanin. Me tutje, hidhi nje cike faqes se Gjirokastres me personazhet qe ishin te gjithe kamajkame ne Perandorine Otomane dhe u kthyen ne Shqiperi. --Sulmues Let's talk 00:31, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Albania uber alles

Ok, Albania ishte me e rendesishmja [10], edhe me e rendesishme sesa gazeta Drita. Touche', ashtu thote burimi dhe me fal per editimin e nxituar. Do shkruajme nje artikull per gazeten Pellazgu, e cila duket se eshte ndofta vertet me e vjetra (botuar me 1860)? Shih pak kete [11]. Pershendetje dhe me njofto nese ke nevoje per gje. --Sulmues Let's talk 16:19, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Nuk do humbja kohe per te perkthyer shqip, pasi shume shqiptare mund ta bejne ate. Problemi eshte te shkruajme ketu. Ti ke ide jashtezakonisht interesante per artikuj te rendesishem. --Sulmues Let's talk 19:34, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Besoj qe mund te shkruajme shume artikuj te mire per WPSQ. Email ke ti te te dergoj ndonje liber qe mund ta perdoresh si burim?--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 19:49, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Ta lashe ketu adresen time, po s'me ke derguar gje der tani. --Sulmues Let's talk 18:45, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
Skam asnje problem per kerkesen.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 19:06, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
