Weihai Airport (Chinese: 威海大水泊机场; pinyin: Wēihǎi Dàshuǐbó Jīchǎng) (IATA: WEH, ICAO: ZSWH) is an airport in Weihai, Shandong, China.
The airport is located in Dashuibo Town (大水泊镇), part of the Wendeng City under the administration of Weihai, hence the airport's name. It is the 4D international standard airport.

Airport facility
Weihai Airport is an international 4D standard airport, currently the runway length is 2600 meters, area of apron is 36000m2, area of terminal building is 14000m2 and the control tower is 1700m2. The airport is equipped with advanced communication and navigation, lighting, instrument landing, firefighting, electricity, a variety of ground support vehicles and other facilities; and the airport has a complete system of air traffic control, maintenance, security, transportation services, public security, logistics and other services. The airport’s facility is accommodate for the landing and takeoff of Boeing 767 and Airbus 300 and smaller aircraft, The design of airport passenger handling capacity is1.4 million passengers / year; the international passenger traffic of 50 million passengers / year, and a cargo capacity of 50,000 tons / year.
At the end of year 2003, focusing on the development of ports open and the protection of the international flights, the government decided to conduct a comprehensive renovation and expansion, the airport renovation project was completed in July 2005. Has completed a 6000 square meters of the International Hall renovation and 13,000 square meters of domestic hall renovation, with a new construction area of 3000 square meters, the airport was completed an overall transformation of the terminal appearance.
The new terminal building is shown as whole bright and beautiful, and has become able to represent the weihai’s characteristics, and it reflects the grade of the city as a landmarks. Weihai airport had greatly enhanced the conditions of service and integrated environmental grade.
As the government attached great importance, the comprehensive transformation of the Airport Road was completed; it became green, landscaping, lighting after the further strengthen. In the construction and renovation projects, adhere to high standards of design and high-level building; Airport Road had become a bridge connecting the city with the airport's Landscape Avenue.
During construction and renovation, the airport facilities and equipment was also planned with a comprehensive upgrade: the introduction of a number of international leading, technologically advanced airport security equipment, including the boarding bridge, elevator and passenger elevator car, fuel trucks, tractors, snow removal car, gas source cars, power cars, clear sewage car.
In 2004, in accordance with the applicability of the safety check requirements of Civil Aviation East China Bureau, actively raise funds to carry out a comprehensive reform of the safety facilities of the airport flight zone, the replacement of airfield lighting systems, an increase of flight boot flags, to repair the runways, taxiways, contact lines surface, update the airport fencing, completed the pavement replacement of caulking material for 150,000 meters; it is to raise the overall level of airport security and flight support capabilities.
The development of Weihai Airport had gained a high degree of attention and support from the country, in 2004, Civil Aviation Administration decided to invest nearly 30 million yuan for the construction of the secondary radar station in Weihai, and 6.6 million yuan for transformation of Weihai Airport air traffic control facilities; these projects have been built to greatly enhance the Weihai Airport Security and Airport grade.
Weihai airport’s infrastructure conditions have been in the advanced ranks as compared with the same range of airport in China.
