Better source request for some of your uploads
[edit]Thanks for your uploads to Wikipedia. There is an issue with some of them, specifically:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the images because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the images, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image files themselves. Please update the image descriptions with URLs that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 21:14, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, If you want to keep the photo in the article, please upload a new version of that form the original source. (http://ipos.me/en/)
The current photo is only up to 6th of June, but the last version of the Graph in the mentioned reference is up to 10th of June. Regards, Koorosh1234 (talk|contribs) 09:49, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

- The online polls in the article Opinion polling for the Iranian presidential election, 2013 are deleted due to the reasons that are mentioned in the Talk page of the article. Al-Ahli SC
[edit]Hi Tabarez, I removed a large amount of content from this article for the following reasons:
1. It is in very poor English, at times it is almost impossible to tell what is trying to be said. It seems like this has been provided by a translation site rather than an individual
2. A lot of the content is very pov, stating how great Al-Ahli are without providing any sources.
3. Sources, or the lack of them are a major issue here, a fair amountof content is probably true but is not verified.
4. The long list of famous players is completely unnecessary as it has no clear inclusion criteria and is far too long anyway.
Feel free to add bits back, but please nesure they are fully sourced to reliable references. Fenix down (talk) 15:48, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Trend of Iranian election polling.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Trend of Iranian election polling.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:37, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Multiple copyright ciolations
[edit]Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.
Copyright block
[edit]Please take this opportunity to be sure you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content, as you did at Iranian presidential election, 2013. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Dpmuk (talk) 19:44, 11 June 2013 (UTC)- Although I've blocked you indefinitely that does not mean for ever. You need to go and read up on our copyright policy using the link above. Copying large amounts of text from a website is a copyright violation and you need to stop doing that. It is a little unusual to block so quickly but you were starting to edit war based on your misunderstanding of policy. Your comments also showed a very clear misunderstanding of both policy and the law - for example small changes like this do not stop it being a copyright violation. Given your clear misunderstanding and your history at this article I thought it best to block you until you understand our policy. Once you have shown you understand our policy you will be unblocked. Dpmuk (talk) 19:48, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- It's fantastic to me to know Wikipedia's policies but many users have policies in their personals here. I add references to all my copyvio edits. Also, most of policies is in English and my native languague is Persian. But blocking is not a good way for it. It just inappetence users from editing in Wikipedia! Tabarez (talk) 19:55, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- Give me the time to edit the page and correct it in Wikipedia style. See the page now! I also started to removing some parts of the sources that is not good before you blocking me. An very early mistake. Tabarez (talk) 19:57, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:
Indefinitely?!!! I can't understand. I don't know that using from other websites with adding it's source is banned in Wikipedia! When I asked it from User:Farhikht, he said yes is but I don't want to remove all, as I started to removing non-encyclopedia parts! See this. This is edit of a user that you heard it's reporting of me. Is it a good reviewer? What a kidding! What happened in Wikipedia? Please explained. It was better that you warned me before blocking! Tabarez (talk) 19:51, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Re: "I don't want to remove all", we do not care what you want - we do not allow (and the law does not allow) *any* copyright violations to be added to Wikipedia articles. Until you read Wikipedia's copyright policy and understand that, and make a convincing commitment to not copy any copyrighted material from other sources, you will not be unblocked. I'm sure you are acting in good faith here, but copyright violation is a serious legal issue, so we must be sure you understand. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:13, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- As I say above indefinite does not mean for ever. Once you have shown you understand policy the block will be lifted. Please go and read our copyright policy. It doesn't matter whether you want to remove it all or not, our policy says all copyright violations need to be removed. This diff which you keep on quoting as something they did wrong was in fact a quite reasonable action on that user's part - we cannot have copyright text in an article. As you restored this text when they removed it they tried a different method which removes the text until someone else reviews it. That was a quite reasonable action. I explain above why I blocked before warning. I will leave it to another admin to review the unblock request in case they see things differently from me but I won't be unblocking until I see a clear understanding of our copyright policies. Dpmuk (talk) 19:58, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- Tabarez has IMHO caused enough problems to remain blocked for ever. During the the past three weeks he has been blocked three times, including this block, has had a load of uploaded images deleted as blatant copyright violations, has edit warred 24/7 and has now also been caught copying text wholesale from various news sources. Meaning that he obviously lacks the maturity/competence needed to edit on WP. Thomas.W (talk) 20:03, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- Tabarez, I told you multiple times to read basic policies. And before reporting this incident I posted a message at the talk page of the article which you ignored. You can find them on Persian Wikipedia.Farhikht (talk) 20:07, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Blocking for ever is not a good way. We have many to do for the article. Please help me to adding and editing not to demolition me. - In the copyright policies I have read in Persian said: User:Farhikht, can you said what I doing? Am I add references or not? Also adding all of the part was not corrected but I started to removing some of them or not? Understanding Wikipedia Copyright policies. Tabarez (talk) 4:45 am, Today (UTC+1)
Decline reason:
I'm sorry, but saying, "I understand" is not the same as understanding. I can can easily say, "I understand quantum physics", but I don't (and am unlikely to, without considerable study). You will need to demonstrate an understanding of copyright before an administrator is willing to unblock you. To make it easier, try answering the following questions in your next unblock request:
- Why is copyright so important on Wikipedia?
- What sort of licence applies to Wikipedia's content?
- Where can Wikipedia copy content from?
- What is "fair use", and when does it apply?
- What does "public domain" mean?
- Can you copy content from other Wikipedia pages - if so, what's the correct procedure?
- How can you tell if another website's content is free to use on Wikipedia?
Doing so will show - rather than simply say - that you've read and, more importantly, understood the relevant pages. Yunshui 雲水 13:04, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

- Dpmuk, I had wrong in my past edits in using copyvio notes, by copy pasting the notes from other websites so I linked to the reference but it was wrong. I also aksed from one user about this and he said that it's wrong but I saw his answer after blocking of me. I really don't know that it was wrong. Now I'm understanding. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Trend of Iranian election polling.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Trend of Iranian election polling.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Farhikht (talk) 10:37, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Iranian presidential election, 2013 – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Iranian presidential election, 2013. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Plot Spoiler (talk) 16:39, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf campaign logo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf campaign logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:59, 23 June 2013 (UTC)

Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts
[edit]Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tabarez, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

File permission problem with File:Majid Jalali.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Majid Jalali.png.
Thank you. Kelly hi! 08:36, 8 October 2014 (UTC)

The file File:Mohammad Reza Aref.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
