Merci pour Debussy! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:28, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bonjour LouisAlain, since you created the page, please find more references for article Jacques Viret [1], [2], [3], [4][5]. Best --DDupard (talk) 06:42, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello DDupard, long time no see. Thanks for the links. Generally speaking, I'm very bad at finding them. I didn't remember this particular article (already 4 years old). Hope you're fine. LouisAlain (talk) 06:52, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
DDupard. An now I've added the links you provided to Jacques Viret. Do you know that was a very Kantian move from you to offer these links without expecting nothing else in return (expect my gratefulness of course). See Critique of Practical Reason and Categorical imperative . Thank again. LouisAlain (talk) 15:21, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks LouisAlain, have a cool day!--DDupard (talk) 06:36, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

August thanks

August songs

The fourth thanks in August go to you, for digging up so many interesting topics! My 12th today, DYK? I decorated, also for a birthday. Songs invite to more music, places, food and flowers (but looking at your production rate you'll have no time for such things). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:50, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

When I see a new message has arrived on my TP, I always feel a little worried that it's another notice that one my new translations has been sent to the draftpage but when I see it comes from you it fills my day with contentment. LouisAlain (talk) 18:32, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
... and that makes me content! ... we say "zufrieden" which has peace in it --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:22, 3 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Today: 2 interesting DYK (I think), sadly 2 who died (on top of 2 from Poland yesterday), and a concert in which Daniel Barenboim just played piano, - and afterwards he and the orchestra received last year's prize (pictured). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:03, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for Tanz im August! Thinking aloud: IF that should go to DYK, it should be fast because it would make more sense in August than September. Help (if you and watchers think that's a good idea)? Needs references above all, and a bit of organising, - strange "lead" which has most of the info, instead of a summary. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:46, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Today: Teresa Żylis-Gara, the second soprano to impress me on stage, died, - long live the memory of her beautiful singing, remembered with thanks. 28 August 2013 was a special concert day: look. After Hillbillyholiday gave me a tree. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:48, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WP:AN discussion

I brought up some of your poor editing habits (including from today) in a discussion at the administrator's noticeboard, WP:AN#Fake referencing. You are welcome to comment there. Fram (talk) 15:50, 1 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

At least you inform me as opposed to my close friend Boleyn (talk · contribs) who plays the white innocent dove and feigns to not understand why I occasionaly mention her on my T.P whereas she acted (very discreetly) so that I lost my autopatrol rights some three years ago. Didn't know what they were, didn't ask to be granted them, they were presented to me after 50 articles which I suppose were deemed in lign with this Wiki policy. End result: 4.500 articles have been added to the load of work of rewievers who of course haven't already enough to do. It's mainly John B123 (talk · contribs) who bears the brunt of the task. No later than 1 minute ago, Sagotreespirit rewieved my latest translation Wolfgang Anheisser (still in the stage of completion) and didn't find anything to object to.
And now I've wasted enough time answering your regular picking on me. LouisAlain (talk) 16:50, 1 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Leo Kestenberg

On 10 September 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Leo Kestenberg, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Leo Kestenberg, a concert pianist, initiated a large-scale reform of music education in Prussia, but had to flee the Nazis first to Prague and then to Tel Aviv? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Leo Kestenberg. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Leo Kestenberg), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

September songs

I am very thankful that you created that article! - Small job, and don't search for 10 refs because sadly it's extremely short: Jean-Paul Jeannotte (fr:Jean-Paul Jeannotte). I found already 2 others who died yesterday ... --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:02, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

rich source! - of the good sources, you only need one! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:06, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No need to ever say sorry to me ;) - Do what you like with the tenor, - I'll possibly take him myself then, hating mentioning on Deaths in 2021 without a single word in English, - but there were two others same day. Some days are like that. Karneval would be good for February, with a DYK in the actual season. Symposiarch and I met on Rosenmontag, believe it or not, and he might help you then. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:52, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but good manners are part of my cultural DNA. I would never adress you with 'Tu' (Du) since you're a woman and we don't personnaly know each other. And even though... LouisAlain (talk) 16:30, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Rigg created the tenor. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:14, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you are LouisAlain for me, it would be fair if you called me Gerda, but do what your education tells you. I wish it would tell you to not talk about other editors, period. Perhaps strike some on WP:AN? The Kusma thread below? For a better climate ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:37, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK, OK , I defer to your judgement Mademoiselle Gerda. LouisAlain (talk) 18:12, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
My judgment is that you gave us another good article shown today: the day of bold red and black, for Dante who died 700 years ago, and Peter Fleischmann who died recently, leaving us films full of vision. Dante: just heard Inferno, imagined by a woman, the main character both speaking and singing with an inner 4-part voice! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:47, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In today's Klassische Philharmonie Bonn, there are red three links to concert halls, and I believe that a concert hall - a firm established structure nobody will doubt exists - needs only 3 references ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:23, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As soon as I have completed Carl Maria Seyppel, I'm at your disposal for your request. LouisAlain (talk) 13:40, 15 September 2021 (UTC) (intermission) I've completed the Kongresszentrum Karlsruhe if that's what you wanted but the two other original German articles are much more demanding in terms of time. I've ear-marked them but it von't be for today. Also, I'm not found of translating articles only to come out with stubs. LouisAlain (talk) 17:43, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the two, and I am even happier with those 3 halls not too close together. I only suggest, - taking or not, and timing if yes is entirely up to you. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:59, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
today next chapter --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:38, 18 September 2021 (UTC) next chapter] family history, about chance, + Hilde Scheppan, with thanks for that creation! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:38, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I read that fr:Françoise Bernard died and has no article here!! Help? You can put it in User:LouisAlain/Françoise Bernard if you afraid of the refs police.  Done I just decided that painter Seyppel will not go to DYK. When you see a top tag such as on his German article, you know immediately that there is a refs problem. Funny things that he made, but I don't have time to dig up more refs for this Kleinmeister. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:27, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I found this from Le Monde, and am too tired to check if it has facts not yet in his bio, or opera. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:14, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm tired too and will look tomorrow. I am not a suscriber to Le Monde hence can't get access to the whole article. They mention Boulez yet; Le Figaro may prove more usefull. France Musique has something though
Thank you for adding the France Musique! It doesn't confirm the facts where you put it (the details of the Festival going on). I moved it to the death which it certainly supports. It's great to have if only for good images! - I had no internet from 9 to 12, and the diagnose was device broken, and a new one probably on Monday ... - Halfway miraculously, it works again. I wondered about cafe, or after which amount of time without me editing I'd be missed ;) - If you can go over the France Musique article and apply ref name="France Musique" / (inside the arrow brackets) to those facts in our article, it would be a good exercise in inline citations. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:27, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As pertains Françoise Bernard, I tranlated the French article but someone had already created the article. I just added my part.
I've recently received so many encouragements and support from two of your "precious" that they definitively disgusted me with any will to improve my htlm skills on this site. But since you are asking me to make and effort, well I will. Just after my daily nap. Don't be surprised with the ensuing catastrophe though... LouisAlain (talk) 12:23, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
to add a ref line is no html, and if you could add the complete ref, I trust you will be able to add the call by name also ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:32, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
... and a wish just found: Raquel Camarinha - she is almost fully sourced inline, should be no problem --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:14, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Computer problems seem to be as catching as the Covid ! I've just lost one article and several hours after my laptop failed me. In order to assuage my rage, I'll do Raquel Camarinha. Grrrr... 16:54, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

Congratulations on your excellent article, Leo Kestenberg on today's main page! Thank you for writing this biography of this fascinating pianist, educator and cultural politician. Cheers! Netherzone (talk) 14:46, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merci Netherzone. Actually, Gerda Arendt did the bulk of the work. LouisAlain (talk) 14:50, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Daniela Fally moved to draftspace. Large sections of BLP are unsourced.

An article you recently created, Daniela Fally, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 21:37, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rathfelder (talk) 19:18, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I looked and found a German list of some films (in External links now), and a bio in French. Please, LouisAlain, take a bit more from that ref. His entry in French is long, just unsourced. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:48, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
