I'm the son of a fundamentalist [[Independent Baptist|Baptist]] preacher. I met [[Jerry Falwell]] while dating a guy that went to his university. That was an odd experience...to say the least.

I grew up mostly in [[North Carolina]], but have lived in [[Tennessee]], [[South Carolina]], and [[Florida]] as well. I currently live in [[Washington, D.C.]] (aka. the home of endless political bickering, backstabbing, and [[pork barrel|government waste]])

My ancestry is half [[Germans|German]] and half [[English people|English]].

I'm not hostile to spiritual beliefs. I am, however, extremely skeptical of all organized [[religions]]...especially religions that claim you're going to burn in hell for not accepting their beliefs...or that you should actually die for not sharing their belief. How arrogant. Organized religion is a way for the few to control the minds of the masses. The only people I knew until college were Baptists, and even during most of my college experience I was still brainwashed into believing most of their [[dogma]]. I now consider myself an [[agnostic theist]]. Some consider that an [[oxymoron]]. Some (me) don't care if that's your opinion. I am more than willing to admit I could be wrong about [[God]], [[evolution]], [[creationism]], [[heaven]], [[hell]], etc. But people that insist they have 100% proof of their religious views are intellectually handicapped. Most [[Christians]] don't realize they're using [[circular reasoning]] for defense of the [[Bible]]. They need to take a long, hard look at this defense. [[Muslims]] that think [[Jihad]] is morally acceptable have no [[morals]], no [[soul]], and no brain. It's not politically correct for someone who doesn't like gay people to call me a [[queer]] or [[Faggot (slang)|faggot]]. Go ahead, call me that. If you think that will hurt or damage my life and soul, then you're sadly mistaken. Words are not that powerful in my view. Besides, I'm proud to be a man-loving, c**k-sucking queer. Your insults are viewed by me as compliments, and I've found that most guys that use these terms as insults have repressed sexual feelings toward other males.

I was raised a hardcore, [[socially conservative]] [[Republican Party|Republican]]. I don't think I knew a [[Democrat]] (except a grandma and an aunt) until I was 18. After realizing the Republican party wants a Christian [[theocracy]] and the Democract party wants a [[Hugo Chavez]]-inspired [[socialist state]], I decided the [[Libertarian]] party best represented my views. Although, I don't agree with some of their ideas. I guess that makes me a political [[nomad]]. I have no real political home. Basically, my political philosophy is as long as you're not hurting someone (born or unborn), keep it legal...and the [[United States]] should not stick its nose into other countries' affairs.

All about mich

I'm a current events and political news junkie. I need rehab for this affliction. These are my future ex-husbands and baby daddies.

I'm the son of a fundamentalist Baptist preacher. I met Jerry Falwell while dating a guy that went to his university. That was an odd experience...to say the least.

I grew up mostly in North Carolina, but have lived in Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida as well. I currently live in Washington, D.C. (aka. the home of endless political bickering, backstabbing, and government waste)

My ancestry is half German and half English.

I'm not hostile to spiritual beliefs. I am, however, extremely skeptical of all organized religions...especially religions that claim you're going to burn in hell for not accepting their beliefs...or that you should actually die for not sharing their belief. How arrogant. Organized religion is a way for the few to control the minds of the masses. The only people I knew until college were Baptists, and even during most of my college experience I was still brainwashed into believing most of their dogma. I now consider myself an agnostic theist. Some consider that an oxymoron. Some (me) don't care if that's your opinion. I am more than willing to admit I could be wrong about God, evolution, creationism, heaven, hell, etc. But people that insist they have 100% proof of their religious views are intellectually handicapped. Most Christians don't realize they're using circular reasoning for defense of the Bible. They need to take a long, hard look at this defense. Muslims that think Jihad is morally acceptable have no morals, no soul, and no brain. Proof that radical Muslims are clinically insane and despise our freedoms. I could go on and on, but I'll spare you.

I love free speech.

I detest most political correctness. It's just a way to control the words and thoughts of people. Or as Orwell would say, thoughtcrime.

Big Brother just wants what is best for you. /end sarcasm

It's not politically correct for someone who doesn't like gay people to call me a queer or faggot. Go ahead, call me that. If you think that will hurt or damage my life and soul, then you're sadly mistaken. Words are not that powerful in my view. Besides, I'm proud to be a man-loving, c**k-sucking queer. Your insults are viewed by me as compliments, and I've found that most guys that use these terms as insults have repressed sexual feelings toward other males.

I was raised a hardcore, socially conservative Republican. I don't think I knew a Democrat (except a grandma and an aunt) until I was 18. After realizing the Republican party wants a Christian theocracy and the Democract party wants a Hugo Chavez-inspired socialist state, I decided the Libertarian party best represented my views. Although, I don't agree with some of their ideas. I guess that makes me a political nomad. I have no real political home. Basically, my political philosophy is as long as you're not hurting someone (born or unborn), keep it legal...and the United States should not stick its nose into other countries' affairs.

I'm not sure who said it, but I always find this quote to be thought provoking:

"Republicans want the government to be your daddy.

Democrats want the government to be your mommy.

Libertarians want the government to treat you like an adult."
