Student's interest in music has dramitically risen due to the arrival of teaching hardcore (chav) music. Many children now perform including the moderately agreeable duo (managed by George Minnis Tirith)- Lewis Kiernan and Sam Rogers. Many other students are also known to have increased interest. This includes duo Marvin and Joe performing acoustic versions of their songs in the Hitchikers. To watch a school performance of the Coldplay song 'Clocks', enter "Ladymead Clocks Cover" into YourTube or go here: http://mylazysundays.com. For the first two weeks of January it is mandatory for all new students to 'peanut' one another, this often leads to the rekindling of tradition within older students whom then join in. To 'peanut' someone is to pull on their tie until the size of the knot is dramaticacally reduced and requires assistance in order to be removed. After the two week period this often dies off, or is killed by a successtion of assembilies and detentions. |
