I have made some updates and there have been some references added to this.

Hi Will0596. The references you added are a self-published blog (by a blogger, moreover, who was financially compensated for blogging about AfroSeeds), and a group blog. Such blogs are not reliable sources and may not be used as references. There don't appear to be any independent reliable sources about the topic, so no amount of editing will make the draft acceptable. If you're interested in writing about manga, check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Anime and manga. Iokepang, you can still work on the original draft. Just because it has been rejected doesn't mean you can't still work on it and then ask for advice if you think the reviewer's feedback will change after you've made such edits. hello,

I have written up about International Sail and Power Academy recently and was rejected by Wikipedia. I have written about International Sail and Power Academy as "fact based" and from "neutral" point of view from their website to emphasize the brief history and what ISPA offers as an certifications. I am very surprised to hear that it sounded like "advertisement" and "Conflict of Interest" to Wikipedia.

Wikipedia has pointed out that my article was in "conflict of interest". Is this because I have used company email address to create an Wikipedia account? Would it made difference if I have used my personal email address?

I have read other sailing organization's Wikipedia articles and I believe majority of them are written in "advertisement" and shows large amount of "conflict of interest" in my opinion.

Please advise what exactly needs to be changed to be published on Wikipedia.

Hi ISPA2018. You may be right that articles about other sailing organizations are promotional. There are many poor articles on Wikipedia. That isn't a good excuse to create more of them. The essay WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS may help you understand why.

To have any chance at all of being accepted here, Draft:International Sail and Power Academy needs to be scrapped and rebuilt based mainly on arms-length reliable sources, not the company's website, and not at all on a site that provides product/service reviews for pay. It doesn't matter in the slightest what email account you use, but editors who like yourself have a conflict of interest are almost never able to write neutrally, never able to produce an encyclopedia article. @Valibrarian: - hi there, I believe that the reviewer, at the time, was reasonable to decline it - though perhaps for a different reason than that used. The edits you've made are at least a reasonable case for inclusion, however a "true" re-review wouldn't be in order (as it wasn't wrong). Greetings, I submitted a draft article LorriBrown/Joan Almond to AfC yesterday and it was rejected by @I dream of horses: (due to conflict with another Joan Almond draft article). I am hopeful that I can get this submission re-considered for the following reasons:

   the LorriBrown/JoanAlmond article is well researched with more content than the MarkZusab/JoanAlmond article at this juncture;
   the MarkZusab/JoanAlmond aricle does not appear to have been submitted for AfC review as indicated by  @I dream of horses in her rejection;
   the articles where created almost on the same date;
   I am hopeful that MarkZusab (and have reached out on their talk page) will be amiable to collaborating on the LorriBrown/JoanAlmond article and help to develop and contribute new content to this article - rather than duplicating the research already accomplished in the LorriBrown/JoanAlmond article; and
   it is unclear if MarkZusab will direct post his version of the JoanAlmond article to AfC or post direct to the main space and it is unclear when they may be ready to do this.

I do understand that the LorriBrown/JoanAlmond version of the article may not be perfect but; however, I do think it is a good start and may be more constructive to proceed rather than to transfer content over the the MarkZusab/JoanAlmond article if this decision holds. In what way are the sources for this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Kelly_Weinersmith not independent or reliable? One is a recognized media outlet and the other is a University page. Neither is related to the subject directly or to me. If these are not independent or reliable, what is?

Hi Philosodad. The university page is reliable, but not independent, because the information on it was supplied by Weinersmith. So it doesn't help establish notability. Space.com is independent and reliable, but not sufficient (not adequate support). Multiple reviews of creative work are expected. From the edits you've made since posing your question, I see that you're already tackling the problems the reviewer pointed out. I've left a welcome basket of links on your talk page. @Ankurshva: hi. Unfortunately, I am sticking with another editor's rejection of the topic in February, and with the 2 previous declines of the topic as being non-notable. The draft also requires major cleanup; it is not written in proper encyclopedic prose, contains an essay-like "Introduction" section, and many of the references cited are either trivial or duplicates of each other. @Ankurshva: When you write on discussion pages (but never when editing articles), sign your posts with four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. When you publish your changes, this will automatically insert a signature with your username and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when. Moreover, notification templates don't work without a signature. Please understand that unlike Facebook or LinkedIn, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place to write about yourself or your friends. Robert Reffkin's Wikipedia Page

My name is Anna Feagan and I work for Compass, a real estate tech company. I'm posting here regarding Draft:Robert Reffkin. He is my CEO.

And I believe he is notable based on the following articles.[1][2][3].

The page was deleted for astroturfing but Robert, myself, Compass have never hired or worked with this astroturfing service, Wikibaji. With that said, will I be blocked for re-submitting a page? Annaelizabeth0711 Greetings. The Draft:Robert Reffkin was deleted as the creator, user:Wikibaji is a banned user. You could create Rober Reffkin page; however, it is highly not recommended as you have a conflict of interest here for you are a paid editor who woks for the subject. If you decide to create the article you need to create it in AfC for paid editor and the content adhere strictly with neutral point of view and non WP:PROMOTION tone/words included. You also need to disclosure your CIO and PAID in (1) your user page and (2) the draft article talk page. Pls read WP:COI, WP:PAID and see WP:DISCLOSURE the instruction on how to disclose. In addition, pls read WP:GOLDENRULE for requirements needed, and WP:Your First Article and referencing on how to write an article in Wikipedia and provide inline citations. thank you. I am unclear why this article was rejected. If the article was incorrectly entered or if wikipedia finds the article not noteworthy enough? The article is identifying a podcast about tennis with 30 episodes including guests who have been the #1 tennis players in the world and won all of the major tournaments. The show appears on all of the major podcast distribution sites (google, itunes, spotify, stitcher etc). please let me know either what i am doing wrong in inputting it or what i can do to make the show more relevant in the eyes of wikipedia. thank you so much.

@Mistertuft: - hi there.

If you click on the blue words in the reject box it will explain things in much more detail, but I'll give the summary below.

Notability isn't a judgement of importance or even true relevance. It's a judgement on acceptable levels of secondary coverage (and occasionally other criteria) - sources must be "in-depth, independent, reliable, secondary". Neither of the two sources currently in the article would meet all of these criteria.

I'd advise the following:

Copy it back to your sandbox
Track down 3 sources (up to 6 is fine - don't "spam" the page) that cover it in-depth, preferably with at least 2 as reviews, that have no reason to be positive towards it
Add them in
Look at Article Wizard - don't just click through, read each page and think "does this apply to my work".
Only once you're confident, resubmit

Lilipo25 Hi, Place {{Db-G7}} on top of the page and state "request for article deletion by creator" on the edit summary before saving/publish. Hi Team! I have a bit of a dream to get this wiki page published about a growing a card game that's growing in popularity in Vancouver, Canada.I submitted the article and it was declined so I wanted some insight on what I need to do to resubmit it and get it approved!

The reason the editor gave for declining it was because of a lack of sources, which I am a little unclear on how I need to make it more robust so any help here would be much appreciated. It aims to have articles only about things that have already gained significant attention by the world at large and over a period of time, as evidenced by significant coverage in multiple, independent, reliable sources (think books, magazines, and newspapers; or their web versions).

Draft:Cactus cites two Wikipedia articles. Wikipedia, being user-generated, is not a reliable source, and should not be used as a reference. The draft also has an external link, which is not allowed in the text. Perhaps you intended it as a reference. Hello, I have a question regarding a warning that I have on the draft that I have submitted. It says "Warning: The page Fuji TACOM redirects to Draft:Fuji TACOM. Please ensure it is not a copy or that this page is located to the correct title.". So the backstory of this draft is that I have created a page that wasn't a draft called "Fuji TACOM". When I realized my mistake by trying to submit it I got a message to move the page as a draft as it is misplaced, and so I did. In regards to the warning above, is there anything I should do further or should I just leave the draft as it is? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

Hi I edit things that come to mind. Thanks for asking. Cross-namespace moves can be tricky. By default, they leave behind a redirect from the old title in the old namespace. But redirects from main space to Draft space are not allowed. I've requested the speedy deletion of the unwanted redirect. But it was deleted for being exclusively promotional, such that it would need to be fundamentally rewritten to be neutral, so the deleting admin has effectively already told you that if you wish to continue writing about the topic you should start over from scratch.

Rather than rushing to recreate the draft, take some time to reflect on whether you're here to build an encyclopedia. Hi Elurevad76 The draft was rejected (unlike declined, rejected is meant to be final) for not being notable, and moreover, for being contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Most likely, the reviewer had in mind not an advertising platform and neutral point of view. The essay WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS may help you understand why reviewers aren't swayed by comparisons with other topics. "Relevance" is not one of the criteria for determining whether a subject should be included in the encyclopedia.

General sanctions covering all content related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies were implemented in May 2018. My impression is that those sanctions have damped down the creation of new articles in the domain. It's best to take the long view. There is no deadline. Was he the son of Clara May Isherwood? Was he from Verona Pennsylvania? Was he a machinist's mate third class in company B of the 30th US Navy Construction Battalion, serving in the Americas during WWII? Your family and a genealogical librarian might be able to help you piece together his life story, but it's likely to be based on primary sources, so unsuitable for Wikipedia.
