Seasons are in lower case (her last summer; the winter solstice; spring fever), except in personifications or in proper names for periods or events (Old Man Winter; the team had great success on the Spring Circuit). Avoid references to seasons that are ambiguous due to differences in seasons between hemispheres.

Errors introduced in edits

You made this edit for Laura Smith (blues singer) time stamped at 2:48:12 (as I see it) and then this edit to the article for Fair Lawn, New Jersey at 2:48:15, a mere three seconds later. You made a total of 18 edits in about 8 minutes, many of them seconds apart. In the nine edits that I reverted every one of them had broken links (which you would have seen in red if you had reviewed the edit) and / or changed working links to redirects and / or added stray text and / or removed flags specifically allowed by MOS:INFOBOXFLAG and / or made changes that have nothing to with the MOS:NUM / MOS:CAPS / MOS:LINK you describe in your edit summary. Regardless of the fact that you are using a script written by someone else, you are responsible for every edit you make. You cannot possibly have reviewed your edits and failed to see the errors you introduced, particularly in the form of broken links, nor is it realistically possible that you reviewed an edit in the seconds you had to do the review. Even after being told that errors were introduced, you still didn't check the revert you did to the Fair Lawn article, which will be undone again to remove the mistakes you created. I've corrected the complainant's error in the section title. Now, to start with: I can't find a thing wrong with Laura_Smith_(blues_singer) or Fair Lawn. On the contrary, they're improved. Recent edits for Live Tour 2019 Re(live): Japonesque

Your edits are correct, but I have a question. When creating the page (and multiple attempts to edit), I input the "collapse" command to do so for some of the versions to unclutter the article, but the command doesn't take. No no no: editors who have been involved in a conspiracy against me do not get to post on my talkpage. One of the other two conspirators—your friend who'd deceived me into downloading a Trojan horse to spy on and wreck my computer—broke ranks and called me to warn that my PC, already badly malfunctioning, was about to come under fatal attack. For almost a week there had been snooping into every corner of my computer. So deep was the infiltration that I had to dump the whole contents of my hard disk. Passwords had been changed, the router was infected. When I asked him whether Graham knew this was happening, he said: "yes".

Arbcom told me there wasn't enough evidence to take action. I bet they didn't even ask you. Aren't you lucky.

New quizzes

Hi Tony! To give you an update, we've now integrated a portion of your linking quiz to the tutorial at Help:Introduction to the Manual of Style/linking quiz. The discussion is at this page. Script problems

Hello Tony, there is a problem with one of the scripts that you used in this edit. It is changing a comment marker from <!-- to <!- – which happened to give a cite date error in this case as it happened in a |date= field. Keith D (talk) 18:18, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dates within refs

Hi

Can you point me to where the new guidance is to not use dates in the format 2020-26-01 please?

I noticed your scripts changed a lot of those and I wasn't aware of the guidance.

My understanding was we were to use that format within refs, so I need to re-educate myself :¬)

There is no rule that you must use ISO dates. Many (perhaps most) readers have a hard time parsing it. Just to prove the point, your "2020-26-01 is around the wrong way: there's no 26th month. If you really want them, revert my edit. Tony (talk) 01:48, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your date script could use a tuneup

Tony, in edits like this one, you change the date format but leave a year with only one of the pair of commas that it needs. Can you see about upgrading the script, or adding matching commas by hand where needed? Dicklyon (talk) 16:23, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hamengkubuwono articles

Are based on unreliable sources - and as such over the last 4 months, IPs have attempted to upload text directly from Indonesian project (totally unsourced usuall) or websites my Indonesian friends assure are as reliable as cottonwool ropes when standing at the Gap in a force 10 gale. The attempts at re-instating unsourced and unverified are consistently persistent by the IP's. Inasmuch as your role/task of 'fixes' might feel good, it is likely Indonesian project members will revert to the earlier edits... JarrahTree 03:08, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
