The 2023 Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 16 or for sponsorship reasons, Tata IPL 2023,[1] was the fifteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. There were a total of 74 matches in TATA IPL 2022. From 2025, 84 matches will be seen in the IPL.

Like every year, IPL auctions will be held before 2023, in which the franchises will release the players. It is important to know here that in IPL mega auction happens every three years while the auction is held every year
