Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 19:14, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:43, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Krum’s Avar Campaign requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://ipark.bg/en-US/Age/Item/385?module=FirstBulgarianKingdom. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your contributed article, Battle of Lake Van

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Battle of Lake Van. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Lake Van#East Roman Empire. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Lake Van#East Roman Empire. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Giraffer (talk·contribs) 08:58, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Nāblus moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Battle of Nāblus, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). It also needs to be expanded further as there's not enough context given. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Important note

Thanks for your work. Verifiability—the principle that the truth of information can be verified by looking at an external source—is of key importance to Wikipedia. Your citations in Cilicia Campaign of Kayqubad the Great (1225) need to have more information on the source to uniquely identify it; at the very least we need the book title, author, and date. Please add this information. Ovinus (talk) 22:32, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Guidelines which you may wish to refer to

At Baibars, WP:LEADCITE, MOS:INTRO, WP:BETTER/GRAF1, and MOS:PEACOCK may prove helpful. If you wish to discuss further, please use the talk page of the article. Many thanks. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 20:58, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Cilicia Campaign of Baybars (1276), is not suitable as written to remain published. The article is a very bad translation and the English makes no sense. It needs to be carefully rewritten. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Battle of Mersivan moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Battle of Mersivan, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) It also needs clearer detail regarding the existence of an actual battle - and likely should be moved to the correct spelling of Merzifon, although would likely be better added to the Merzifon page as a two-liner rather than treated as a battle in its own right. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Notice

The article Battle of Pharwala has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Looks like a reproduction of a Baburnama passage. References are either dead links, or trying to disguise the reliance on non WP:RS sources (for example, Rickard, J (14 May 2010), Battle of Pharwala, 15 March 1519 is actually a www.historyofwar.org page). Article subject is a minor skirmish with no indication of meeting WP:GNG. Article title inflated to create illusion of importance.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thanks for your comment, I chance the sources, I mentioned “in baburnama” babur said this, is that forbidden? I gave the source about the content while the other sources mentioned also these battle, the battle is real. But if I would write the battle the battle would had a bad content. So I took it from baburnama and wrote also that it cames from there were a source. I hope my page would stay my bad for the mistakes. Gokturklerrr (talk) 19:55, 19 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
