Information icon Hello, I'm JalenFolf. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to LEN Challenger Cup—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Information icon Hello, I'm Jonas kam. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Men's European Volleyball Championship, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jonas kam (talk) 23:09, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have a reliable source. The CEV gave Romania hosting rights in November 2022 and the FIVB change continental championships to even numbered years. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 23:14, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Men's European Volleyball Championship, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Jonas kam (talk) 01:11, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you saw my last comment, I HAVE a reliable source from the CEV. Putting an article link on the hosting chart will look really ugly. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 02:13, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:2023–24 EHF European League a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2023–24 EHF European League. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 21:56, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Those results are from last season. Kante4 (talk) 19:09, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I know, but I will be editing it in the future so its resembles next season. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 19:12, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, we do not have false information on the article. At least hide it, if not remove it. Kante4 (talk) 19:13, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have done this in the past and it has worked fine. What's your problem? You don't need snap at me and say NO. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 19:16, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There are a lot of people who put fake info on sport articles. Rather than clamp down on me, care about those people instead. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 19:19, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It was not angry or whatsoever, not my intention sorry, i just said how we do it. And right now, the article is not correct and has false information on it. Please remove that or fix it. And i hid it, so you can work on it and it does not display the wrong info. Kante4 (talk) 20:12, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I accept the apology. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 20:27, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Please stop removing appropriate tags from articles, such as as the Template:One source tag that you've removed from several articles that it's been appropriately placed on. Hey man im josh (talk) 14:21, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2023–24 LEN Euro Cup. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. I believe this is the fourth time now that I've asked you NOT to remove relevant tags from articles, as you did here. The only sources on the article from the organization itself, making it a primary source. The one source tag is appropriate because the website for the organization is the only source used. Notice

The article ICC T20 Champions Cup has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unverifiable, there are some old sources all giving different years, but nothing definitive or confirmed

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of 2023 UANA Water Polo Cup

Hello ILoveSport2006,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 2023 UANA Water Polo Cup for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.

If you don't want 2023 UANA Water Polo Cup to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Better source request for File:EHF European League 2023.png

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 06:29, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:LEN Women's Euro Cup logo2.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:LEN Women's Euro Cup logo2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:19, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate parameters

On September 21 you made multiple additions of the parameters OTwin_AAA and OTloss_AAA to the 2023–24 LEN Challenger Cup, 2023–24 LEN Women's Challenger Cup, and 2023–24 LEN Women's Euro Cup articles, and other duplicate parameters to 2023–24 LEN Women's Champions League article. These duplicate parameters cause these articles to be listed at "Category:Articles using duplicate arguments in template calls". None of us editors who patrol this page periodically are sure how to correctly fix these duplicates. They've been there for 10 days, and it appears that the tournaments are ongoing for several months. Would you mind fixing them so they are no longer duplicated, but also making sure that they're correct? Thanks. Ira Leviton (talk) 14:47, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Austria qualifying for 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup

How can you be so certain that Austria qualified for 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup ? Do you have a source ? UEFA has not sent any communication, how can you be so certain of that without any references and sources ? Pindrice (talk) 18:17, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Who else are they going to give it to? I understand your point but it seems pretty obvious to me. For now, If you want to hide it before it's officially announced, that makes sense, but I don't think erasing it would make sense. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 18:21, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't mean what I said to sound arrogant. It's just, who else are UEFA going to give the spot too? ILoveSport2006 (talk) 18:28, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"It seems pretty obvious to me" -> That is not an acceptable argument here on Wikipedia, we use valuable sources and references and certainly not a personal thought. What if UEFA decides to organize a play-off between Austria and Iceland (the other 3rd place) ? What if UEFA decides to use another way to choose the fifth team. You write prose like it is 100% sure but in fact you have absolutely no idea of what they are gonna to do. Maybe indeed Austria will be chosen, maybe not. Pindrice (talk) 18:28, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And even for the other confederation, you write prose like it is 100% sure (Costa Rica and Fiji), do CONCACAF and OFC have confirmed your thoughts ? 100% sure ? You should add something like "We wait the official announcements from the different confederations" Pindrice (talk) 18:31, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, in regards to Austria, Their spot could be given to someone else. Even though you said a lot of what ifs that won't happen. But in regards to Costa Rica and Fiji, there are no scheduled U-20 women's competitions in their respective regions. So both of them will certainly qualify.
