Crackdown GA

Just a note that I've addressed the points raised by your review. --MASEM 04:47, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As a followup to the GA, how do you think it is ready for an FA? Don't need a full PR, just a thumbs up or down how close it is. --MASEM 21:59, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thumbs...very close to up. Just the usual...remember to copyedit, etc., but I'm not seeing anything major missing. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:52, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Diorama

I might be able to look for those reviews you asked for in my library on Thursday. WesleyDodds (talk) 09:31, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 09:33, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll have the newsletter done later today. In other news, I'll go to the library tomorrow, after I see Iron Man. WesleyDodds (talk) 19:23, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Iron Man = Pfft...not looking forward to that coming out here and being forced to see it. But enjoy ;) dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:52, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The newsletter is ready to go! WesleyDodds (talk) 06:22, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Aye! dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 08:44, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RFA

So when do you think you will be ready for another RFA? <3 Tinkleheimer TALK!! 20:13, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hahaha...not for a while, I think. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:24, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
+1 support! Tiptoety talk 23:35, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Oppose; too many featured articles. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:43, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I view self opposes as not being power hungry. Tiptoety talk 00:00, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've got 4 prior RfAs for that... dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 01:00, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hell, I'll support you this time round... You better have a damn good answer to Q4 ready thoughiridescent 01:06, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! :) Will there be a damn good question 4 for me? dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 01:36, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, what's the difference between a block and a ban?Balloonman (talk) 03:48, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Um...a Lego block and a rock band? dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 05:02, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose, everyone knows that proper nouns should be capitalized; as DHMO's signature does not reflect this grammar point, he is unsuited for adminship. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 01:11, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Good God, who fixed up my articles with proper capitalisation? :O dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 01:36, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The result will be 48 support, 12 oppose, +/- 5 either way on both scores. Bet you...iridescent 01:27, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, he'll get over a 100 votes... but he needs to wait. His last RfA failed due to "too many RfA's in a year." Give him time, he'll be a hell of an admin, but he needs to wait :( Balloonman (talk) 03:48, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
. . \__/ This user respects dihydrogen monoxide's decision and is wishing him the best of luck.

Ya know, that userbox would confuse anyone who didn't know who Giggy was! dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 05:02, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Then they don't deserve to be a part of Wikipedia. :D I'll try and remember to change it sometime. <3 Tinkleheimer TALK!! 06:09, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Everest Catholic High School

Err ... you are aware that consensus was plainly for Merge in that discussion (7-3, by my count), and that non-admin closures can only reflect unambiguous Keeps? There's nothing unambiguous about a result proposed by a minority. Would you care to undo this, or would you prefer Wikipedia:Deletion review?  RGTraynor  12:47, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(Link for reference) Please read the closing comments; you're welcome to propose a merger on the talk page. The suggested target was to a list of schools, and this one was on the list...hence the merge was already "done". There were no arguments for deletion, so yes, it was a unanimous keep. Feel free to discuss a merge on the talk page if you wish, or feel free to take it to DRV if you believe this decision should be overturned in some way, though I can't see how a merge could take place at the moment (and there is no other decision proposed that I can see). And yes, I am aware of policy and process relating to non admin closures. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 12:51, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In which case you're aware that non-admin closures cannot be judgment calls of any sort, which you've made here.  RGTraynor  13:02, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please re-read WP:DPR#NAC, nothing about judgement is mentioned. Consensus is mentioned. I evaluated that and closed accordingly. Again, if you believe I have closed incorrectly, take it to DRV, and propose a more suitable merge target, or explain how the proposed one is suitable. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 13:04, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
(Off to sleep now, feel free to do whatever you feel is right—I trust your judgement. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 13:15, 1 May 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Another massive {{unref}} tagging

Hello, I'm not sure you remember me, but I reported a similar situation on this AN/I report. I decided you should know there's another user doing the same thing. Just check his recent contribs. Should we report this? Please reply here, thank you. Tasc0 It's a zero! 15:04, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Same suggestion as last time from me - revert him in cases where there is nothing to be challenged, and leave him a note explaining WP:V. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 00:57, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

EarthBound - GA failed

Hello DM, just letting you know I've decided to fail EarthBound. It's not something I enjoyed doing, there's really not a lot left to do. But, since Nojr must be busy IRL, it seems pointless to leave it there and keep checking every day. Anyone can look at the remaining minor issues, fix and renominate for a (hopefully) quick GAN. Would you mind taking a look at the article's talk page and seeing whether I've made any errors? Someoneanother 18:32, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it's never pleasant, but it's part of the "job", I guess. Everything on the talk page looks OK. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 00:57, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Taxiride

In the lead para you have links to a wide range of other groups - is that really kosher - I would have thought all the stuff that FA and GA and other stuff - the first thing would be to take all that out of the lead sentences and para as not correct wiki mos and irrelevent crap? any thoughts? SatuSuro 02:02, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The lead is always done last; I was just getting that one now. :) dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 02:04, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough :P SatuSuro 02:05, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Gawd - you might appreciate my banter with blofield hairy one last night re such perversion - I can see our sense of tumour might intersect somewhere :| SatuSuro 02:14, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I shudder at some of that...in other news; [1]. Told ya! dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 02:20, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Smile!

Now that's just silly! :D dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 02:12, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the shrimp! :) Acalamari 02:14, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RfA...

But writing articles is more fun! I don't really want an FAC and an RfA on at the same time anyway, what with the stress and the way they tend to push doing this later and later... --Kakofonous (talk) 02:36, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
