Hello. In reference to your deletion suggestion on Template:Findbox; a few years back there were lengthy and quite silly wars over userboxes. Eventually a decision was reached that if they were 'housed' in the User: namespace most of them would be ok. However, that resulted in various users putting various boxes on different pages and quite a bit of confusion as to where everything was located. I created findbox to help smooth the transition. Subsequently 'template:user <whatever>' became accepted as a 'pseudo namespace' for userboxes, most of them migrated there, and I updated my 'Babel' template to default to that assumption. Thus, the 'need' for findbox is well past and I don't see any problem with deleting it... and, in fact, have done so. --[[User talk:CBDunkerson|CBD]] 20:35, 19 May 2010 (UTC |

Listing userboxes
Hi, per Wikipedia:Templates for discussion#What not to propose for discussion here, I have moved your nominations from WP:TFD to WP:MFD. Also, it would be great if you could notify the userbox/template author when you nominate them. I personally use WP:TWINKLE and it does it automagically. Thanks! Edit to user box
Hi, I'm not sure what happened but when you edited User:Randall311/MLB-Yankees it messed up all of the userpages that the infobox appeared on. I undid the edit and everything looks fine now. You might want to reattempt whatever you were trying to do. J04n(talk page) 17:28, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunatly I'd missed out a }} when I'd made the changes. I've now fixed it. -- WOSlinker (talk) 17:42, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Tampering
Did you mess with my user page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by CardMaster21 (talk • contribs) 05:54, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- All I did was to remove your page for a category it shouldn't be in. -- WOSlinker (talk) 07:44, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
Userbox category
Hi, WOSlinker. I was wondering why you have made a number of edits recently removing Category:Userboxes from userboxes? I would understand if you were moving them to other categories, but it appears that you are just removing, sometimes leaving the page uncategorized. --RL0919 (talk) 16:27, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- Idally, yes it would be better to put them into a more sitable category., and I have been doing that in some cases, but also leaving them in Category:Userboxes doesn't serve much of a purpose either. The ones in the template space may eventually show up in Wikipedia:Database reports/Uncategorized templates but it's limited to 1000 records, so only goes as far a Ct the moment. -- WOSlinker (talk) 16:32, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- At least being in the userbox category is a start. They should be diffused from there, but making them uncategorized is a step backwards. --RL0919 (talk) 16:39, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
I can understand why you tagged it for speedy, but...
... see Template talk:Todoedit2. I checked, and it's still in use. Peter 21:39, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, I've added the {{substituted}} tag to the template. -- WOSlinker (talk) 21:42, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Help required, if you have any time
Hi WOS, do you think the current versions of Template:WPBannerMeta/class/sandbox and Template:Class mask/sandbox would work well together? Do you agree that it be neater and less confusing to do all the work with B-class checklist parameters on the latter template, rather than partially on each as happens now? I think the only loss would be to custom masks which are using a B-class checklist but not {{class mask}} and I don't think there are many of them, if any. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 20:15, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- Seems ok, although I haven't really tested it. Before implementing it, would need to check those banners using B-class checklists and custom classes to pass though the parameters correctly. A new tracking category, Category:WPBannerMeta templates with B-class checklists might be useful. -- WOSlinker (talk) 22:41, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes indeed, I'll start looking through those shortly. I think [1] works well for finding the uses of checklists. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:24, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- Done, for all banners using B-class checklists and {{class mask}} on a /class subpage. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:50, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help debugging my code. It would be even more helpful if you were an admin. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:57, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Template:WikiProject Cricket/bchecklist
Would you mind taking a look at Template:WikiProject Cricket/bchecklist? I had forgotten about this and I don't think it's working with the new setup. Is it even needed anymore? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:14, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- I think it's fixed now. Added in the use of {{class mask/b}}. [2] -- WOSlinker (talk) 17:44, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Thunder userbox discussion
Just wanted to let you know that we are surveying wiki Thunder fans and experts on sports userbox formats to determine whether they want User:BillTunell's style incorporated into the userbox ({{User:UBX/NBA-Thunder}}), or want to use the standard version. If you you want to comment, hit the RFC discussion page here. Thanks. Tom Danson (talk) 19:53, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Highway infoboxes
If you're working on consolidating and eliminating redundant infoboxes in the US, there's also {{Infobox Maryland highway}}, which essentially passes all of it's parameters to {{Infobox road}}. A few parameters have different names, but otherwise it's the same template, with the state=MD
parameter fixed. Just thought that I'd give you a heads up if you didn't know about it. No need to reply. Imzadi 1979 → 09:09, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll take a look later on. -- WOSlinker (talk) 09:10, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
