Pokkén Tournament (ポッ拳, Pokken Tōnamento) is a fighting game developed by The Pokémon Company and Namco Bandai Games and published by Namco Bandai Games. It is developed as a collaboration between the Pokémon and Tekken series.[2] Is it to be released in Japanese arcades in 2015.
Development
After having been teased in Pokémon Game Show, a 2013 event featuring Pokémon X and Y, the game was finally announced via Famitsu in August 26th, 2014. The Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada, and Soulcalibur producer Masaaki Hoshino attended the event, which was broadcasted on NicoNico. A release in North America, Europe and Oceania hasn't been announced, but the game itself was revealed via the international Pokémon social media accounts.[3]
