Welcome!

Hello, Joluata, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Recent changes

I saw the recent changes you made to Association of National Accountants of Nigeria and to Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. I am sure that you are trying to add relevant information, but you really should first read the articles listed at the top of this page before making any more changes, particularly How to edit a page. You should not put your signature on each edit you make, and should not put url's into the body of the article. The effect is completely unreadable, as you must see. I will clean up again, but please read how to edit before making any more changes. Thanks, Aymatth2 (talk) 12:53, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I see you made additions to International Association for Accounting Education & Research, once again placing urls and your user signature in the visible text. Since the additions provided no new information, I simply removed them. I feel that you genuinely want to contribute to the encyclopedia, but I urge you, please, to read the editing guidelines - or just to copy the style of the rest of the text. Try editing in a sandbox first, to understand how to create text that looks "normal". You will find it is easy if you try.:~) Aymatth2 (talk) 20:56, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

new articles

Hi, thank you for contributing Nigerian College of Accountancy and Certified National Accountant. We have revised it to be better formatted. You are gaining good experience in how to write new pages. With a bit more practise you'll be fine. Aymatth2 and I are happy to help you.

Who is the Director-General of Nigerian College of Accountancy?

I read at [1] that ANAN recently donated a research center was to Nasarawa State University. Do you know more about that?

Also, is the president of ANAN Maryam Ladi Ibrahim or Iyamide Gafar.? See my question here: Talk:Association_of_National_Accountants_of_Nigeria#president

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Johnson Oludeinde Oluata requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Cloveapple (talk) 09:34, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If your most recent article was an attempt to post a personal profile I'd suggest writing it on your user page at User:Joluata. Cloveapple (talk) 09:39, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. There is no need to sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on article talk pages or project pages such as the Village Pump. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. WikiProject Wikify Discussion Invitation

Sumsum2010·T·C 23:38, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.apbnng.com.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:12, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted this article. When you write about an organisation, it is necessary that you don't copy text from other websites.

You can create this page again, but you need to describe the organisation in your own words. John Vandenberg (chat) 13:26, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Nigerian Institute of International Affairs has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:ORG. Completely uncited article with notability tag in place since June and no claims of notability in the article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Ijebu OWO 2 Community, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. Hi Joluata, Please stop signing your contributions to Wikipedia using ~~~~, as with this edit. You have being doing this for two years, and have been asked before to stop doing it. Please stop doing it. It gives work to other editors who have to clean up the mess, and until that is done it makes Wikipedia look bad. And please make sure that when you cite another web site, you format the citation correctly, for the same reasons. Thanks, Aymatth2 (talk) 16:10, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Joluata, Again, please stop signing your contributions to Wikipedia using ~~~~, as with this edit. You have being doing this for three years, and have been asked repeatedly to stop doing it. Please stop doing it. It gives work to other editors who have to clean up the mess, and until that is done it makes Wikipedia look bad. And please make sure that when you cite another web site, you format the citation correctly, for the same reasons. I know you are trying to add useful information, but it really is easier not to sign your contribution than to sign it - and it is not difficult to format citations properly. Remember that your contribution history and the edit history of the article bot clearly show the contributions you have made. Can you imagine what an article with many editors, like Goodluck Jonathan, would look like if each editor stuck in their signature where they made a change? Nobody would be able to see the information behind the blinding storm of signatures. Your signatures make you look vain, arrogant, destructive and very weak. Please stop. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
