The West Indian squad was announced on 29 January 2016.[16] After the squad was announced, Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine and Darren Bravo withdrew before the tournament started.[17][18] Pollard was replaced by Carlos Brathwaite, while Ashley Nurse replaced Narine.[19] A replacement for Bravo has yet to be named.
