General Nakar is a municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. It was named after Guillermo Peñamante Nakar, the leader of the 1st Battalion of the 71st Infrantry Division of the USAFFE. According to the 2015 census, the town has a population of 29,705 people.[3] It is classified as a first class municipality, and is the largest municipality in the province in terms of land area, occupying 1,343.75 square kilometres (518.82 sq mi).
