Krishna-kittur (Kannada ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ ಕಿತ್ತೂರ Krishna Kittur) is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Athani taluk of Belgaum district in Karnataka.

Demographics

As of the 2013 and 2015 India census, Krishna Kittur had a population of 7000 with 3700 males and 3300 females.[1] TRANSPORTATION : Krishna Kittur is switched on Athani(28 km)-Ugar(09 km) road. Ugar is the nearest railway station to Krishna Kittur (14 km). Belgaum Airport is the nearest airport.

The famous Krishna river flows through this place with three sides surrounded by Krishna river and village is well known for its sugarcane cultivation and milk production. Kannada is the primary language spoken & Gram Devi - Mahalakshmi Devi Yearly Yatra will be in the month of May with cultural activities like local dramas played by kittur local artists , Sports Like - Kusti , Kabbadi , Slow two wheeler motor racing.

Krishna Kittur is famous for milk products like Peda , From krishna kittur vijaypur is only 70 KM which is world famous historical place , and also Gokak Falls and godchin maillike water falls .
