Removed character list

That list of characters was just ugly. I didn't think it really benefited the article (most of the links didn't have their own page anyways), so I removed it. --Hotdoglives 02:47, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disney XD

~~Oppose~~ - The proposed title is a redirect to Ewok and it should be kept as such as that is the primary topic, the race which the TV series is named after. However, if the TV series is indeed not called "Star Wars: Ewoks" then the title should be Ewoks (TV series) (which is already a redirect to it). --Gonnym (talk) 22:45, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

- It seems like this has been a contentious issue in the past, and one of the support votes is from an open IP address. I was inclined to close this as moved, but I wouldn't want someone to say that it snuck by them. I'll go ahead and support to move this one along. While some reliable sources refer to the series as Star Wars: Ewoks, for TV series I generally prefer to defer to the show's title card for naming purposes, and the titlecard of this TV show clearly is just "Ewoks". Is there evidence that someone typing Ewoks are more likely to be searching for the show over the fictional alien species that Ewoks currently directs to? If there isn't I don't believe that this article should be titled Ewoks.--76.65.40.44 (talk) 00:45, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. Hopefully this RM will finally lead to a stable and defensible title! That's one reason for preserving the edit history that will (hopefully) soon be overwritten... it's an important part of the trail that documents these other moves to titles that have been tried and rejected, and should discourage similar bold moves. Although those particular titles are now to some degree salted, I'm often amazed at the new titles editors invent, and the imaginative reasons they (sometimes) give for thinking that these are correct.
