Review of Draft:Aerofly_FS
Hello AngusWOOF, Thanks for your previous review, I fully agree your remarks. I hope my last edit will satisfy you. It's true that the article may look complimentary but it is not exaggerated. About the 3D engine for example, Aerofly is much much better than its competitors, it is just a fact. Thanks for your feedback, Vincent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turman (talk • contribs) 13:37, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
I have read your last review. I don't understand why I need to make a reception section for the reviews. I have never seen that. Could you please detail it or give a sample from an existing article ? About the other part of your review: in fact FS2 is the notable version as FS1 was more confidential. I'll try to explicit that in the article. Thanks, Vincent. Turman
- See Sonic the Hedgehog (1991 video game) for example. It doesn't have to be from a video game review website, but from the other flight simulation / computing reviewers. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:11, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for having extending the refs for me ! I have also made small improvements, please tell me if it's enough. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turman (talk • contribs) 20:45, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Hello Angus, Could you please rereview my draf since I've made a lot of improvements (I don't know if I can contact another reviewers as you have already made some remarks on my draft). Thanks, Vincent. Turman
- Turman, please see feedback from previous. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:49, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
@AngusWOOF:, could you please help me by telling me which part(s) exactly I should improve ? I admit that the "graphic engine" part may look laudatory but it is only the truth, it is the strong point of the simulator which is undeniable (and confirmed by the independent sources I quoted). Maybe I should rephrase the sentence in a more neutral way, but my level of English is unfortunately limited.Turman (talk) 09:27, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
- Turman, see the comments I had posted on the draft. It needs a development section and a reception section. How did the product come about? What are the reviews of the product? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:26, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
@AngusWOOF: In my draft there is still some info on the reception, most of the references actually. There are plenty of articles on software that have no section dedicated to reception or to the history / development (including for famous titles like X-Plane) so I do not understand why this would be absolutely necessary here.
- Turman, it's a software article that borders on video game, so it should have software reviews / reception. The development section would also help establish notability, otherwise it just reads like a catalog entry for software. The goal is to get the article to show notability by secondary sources independent of the subject. Right now it's full of "features" and such details that are primary source. Draft:Welcome Tour
You declined Draft:Welcome Tour because it needs more news sources about the tour that aren't coming from fan sites. However, I've been having difficulty finding news sources about the tour that aren't from fan sites. Could you help me please? CHICHI7YT (talk) 00:39, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, how about more newspapers or magazines? If the fan site has archives of news clippings covering the show you can cite those newspaper writeups. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 02:33, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, my main source for the draft was this. However, the page doesn't show news clippings, only posters for gigs. I don't think posters are a reliable source for a Wikipedia article. CHICHI7YT (talk) 02:58, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, posters and Santana's website only show that they toured. If there are magazine writeups or news clippings that would be better. They can be offline, but they need to be articles that someone who has access to them at a library or whatever can dig up . Look for headlines like "Santana announces Welcome Tour." or "Santana Welcome Tour" How did you know that they changed lineups on a certain venue? Or that they played to 65,000 people at a certain place. There must be news articles for stuff like that.AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:41, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, Here's a nice collection put together by a fan site for The Band when they toured with Bob Dylan in 1974. [1] If there's something similar, you could cite those news articles. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:09, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, it turns out the info about Santana changing lineups on a certain venue comes from a memoir by Carlos Santana called The Universal Tone: Bringing My Story to Light. It is okay if I use that book as a reference? CHICHI7YT (talk) 19:23, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, it would be a primary source, but it at least has information that he publicized. A biography for Santana would be secondary and could be used for that too. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 04:16, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, should I add citations for pages I used in the books for reference? CHICHI7YT (talk) 01:37, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, you can if it helps. There's a way to do so like with Anthony Field. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 05:27, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, I added a citation to a page I used in Santana's autobiography for reference. So what now? CHICHI7YT (talk) 20:45, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, are there any news articles that call it the Welcome Tour? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:13, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, no. The Welcome Tour is how I call the tour, because it started shortly after the release of Welcome. I guess a better name for the tour is "Santana North American Tour 1974" or something. CHICHI7YT (talk) 21:18, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, then yes, the name of the article should be "Santana 1974 North American Tour" or "Santana North American Tour 1974" or "Santana North American Tour (1974)" (like The Beatles' 1966 US tour), not "Welcome Tour". If you have news articles calling it as such, then that would work. It really needs some news article that has verbiage like: Santana launches the Santana North American Tour in (city). The tour will run from (date range) and visit (number) cities " AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:27, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- But AngusWOOF, how do I rename the article? Also, most of the info about where and when they toured came from posters from 1974 gigs. CHICHI7YT (talk) 23:26, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- CHICHI7YT, I can eventually rename it, just tell me what you want it to be at the header. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:24, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, I want the draft to be renamed "Santana North American Tour 1974". CHICHI7YT (talk) 20:26, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
- AngusWOOF, what now? CHICHI7YT (talk) 20:31, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

Request to help with the submission of wikipedia page of Sanskar Educational Group
Hi AngusWOOF. I have updated the article based on your comments. I have deleted most of the text which did not have adequate resources as per your comments. Can you please review again if further changes are needed to publish it or is it in a minimal required shape for publishing?
Thank you very much.
Regards, Amit
Amit de (talk) 14:09, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- Amit de, you need to show that the organization Draft:Sanskar Educational Group is notable and can meet WP:ORGCRIT. You need secondary sources independent of the subject that cover the institution in detail. Local newspapers or national newspapers. That it is just an organization means it is probably going to end up in the WP:MILL. I only see a reference to its own website and then a Google search. That isn't enough. Is it an actual school? Then it should explain what grades it covers. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:27, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Issues sent to dispute resolution
Hi AngussWOOF. Because our progress on the "National drinks" page was somewhat stalled I sought the assistance of dispute resolution: {{drn-notice}}. Hopefully you're willing to particpate in the process and with the help of other editors we can move forward. Thanks, BrieDeChevre (talk) 14:31, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- BrieDeChevre, thanks, I have aired my concerns there. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:08, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hello AngusWOOF. User: Robert McClenon closed the case on the dispute resolution noticeboard and so please see his comments. As I interpret what he said, we should move the draft into article space and then on the article's talk page copy and paste our discussion that we've had on the draft's talk page and see then what editors think about a "delete discussion". My understanding is that there isn't an issue with a "redirect" because there is no "National drinks" page. Do you agree with my interpretation? If not, what do you think our next step should be? Thanks. BrieDeChevre (talk) 23:40, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hi AngusWOOF. Please see my message above so we can move forward with our issue. Thanks. BrieDeChevre (talk) 20:42, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
- BrieDeChevre, my concerns have been addressed. I'll go ahead and push for making this article official. Thanks again for all your efforts! AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:32, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
- BrieDeChevre, the article is live now at National drink with National drinks and List of national drinks as redirects. Please help add or clean up the links from other articles that might refer to it. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:31, 10 June 2019 (UTC)

- Hi AngusWOOF. I'm super duper excited that the page has gone live, but I think that the page should be called "National drinks", with an "s", not "National drink". The page listing national liquors in entitled "List of national liquors", not "List of national liquor". A companion page to the drinks pages is called "National dish", but I think a better name for that page would be "National dishes". In my mind, to be consistent we could have "National dishes", "National drinks", and "National liquors". Do you have control over the names of those other pages? Thanks, and I'll clean up and add the links as you suggested from other articles after your response to the issue I just brought up. BrieDeChevre (talk) 18:30, 10 June 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.167.176.54 (talk)
- BrieDeChevre, if it's going to be a plural then it should be renamed List of national (plural), as with National bird, National tree. If there is a separate article about what National (singular) is, like with National anthem, then retain that singular. Are you okay with List of national drinks then? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:54, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
- Hi AngusWOOF. Let's go with "National drink", as was your intention. Thanks so much! BrieDeChevre (talk) 01:31, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
- BrieDeChevre, it's been renamed to List of national drinks. That should be okay for now. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:50, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

Comment
Thanks for the ping and press at Draft talk:Elena Matei. I can only assume (on the basis of date) that I am likely the editor that "denied" the subject. I am much more interested in the article quoting a "Joe DiRosa", given that the first draft of Draft:Elena Matei was created by a User:Joedirosa around the same time... this might explain the consistent appearance of random ip editors on the article. Thanks again.--SamHolt6 (talk) 18:41, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- SamHolt6, it looks like one of the IP editors wrote a big essay on why she should have an article, but it still cites those primary source interviews. Ugh, can't the editors find secondary source articles on her? Then it'd be easy to add. I've seen stub model pages like Chase Carter based on those non-interview articles. (Oops I actually didn't approve Carter's article, another editor did, but I checked the references and they were pretty good RS'es.) AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 04:13, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
Cafetran Espresso
Thanks for reviewing my nascent page on Cafetran Espresson. I am not quite certain to understand why this page causes so much problem. To be honest, I did not want to create it in the first place. However, an editor kept removing all mentions of the software from the CAT software comparison, for lack of notability (while the said page lists software with a lower user-base than Espresso). I will keep trying to include more external references and get the page accepted (BTW, I am not a developer of the software. Just a user, who was very grateful to find it, in a domain where there is an almost monopoly of tools under Windows, with a few under Mac, and almost nothing under Linux. Certainly not of the quality and versatility of Espresso). NB: while I appreciated your nice message on my talk page, I am actually not a new contributor. I edited WP way before you. Nicolas Gambardella Le Novère (talk) 23:17, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- Nicolas Gambardella Le Novère, no worries, I think the Teahouse thing just plops the Welcome message regardless of the user's status. But yes, the main concern I had was that it was full of TM marks everywhere like it was copied from a brochure, and then there were no secondary sources to meet WP:GNG, hence the advertising tone. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 04:05, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- I actually put the TM mark on purpose. I thought it was mandatory for a trademarked name. However, I now realised that this is not the case on WP. So I'll remove them. Thanks for the info. Nicolas Gambardella Le Novère (talk) 07:15, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- Nicolas Gambardella Le Novère, per MOS:TM, the trademarks should be removed. Having the brands listed on Wikipedia shouldn't have to be violating or running into trademark issues. . AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:34, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Draft:Roger Chung
Dear Angus,
Thank you for your help in reviewing the draft and your comments are very helpful in coming edits. I will edit the article according to your suggestions. Please allow me more time to edit the draft and not deleting the draft ><
ThanksClhy (talk) 03:24, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- Clhy, it would need a complete rewrite so that it doesn't sound like a eulogy or profile that praises the subject. See WP:NPOV. Also if you are connected to the subject in any manner you need to declare conflict of interest. WP:COI. If his main occupation is being a professor, then work on that and show how he meets WP:NACADEMIC. If his main occupation is being in a music group then you need to show news sources that enable him to meet WP:MUSICBIO. The Bill Murray thing is just a hobby that would go in Personal life along with his family members. You also need to use secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Look for news articles that discuss his life and career, not ones from his website or school or fans. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 04:03, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- Totally understood that I will need to rewrite it. I am asking for keeping the draft because I spent almost a day to create the Infobox..... I just wish to keep that part so I don't have to build it again in the future.....
- I am the employee of the subject. I work for him. I read from the article wizard that I just need to declare the conflict of interest in my page, which I already did. Please advise how should I do it if it is not sufficient or I didn't do it right.... I am still quite confused with the functions in the wiki at the moment so I really appreciate all sorts of help and comments.Clhy (talk) 05:03, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- The infobox can be created later. I would try to rewrite the article using only material gathered from news articles and journals, not his website. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:35, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- It looks like Clhy is blocked, so no further action on this one. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:36, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Draft Candie Carawan
Is there anyway I could get assistance from an experienced Wikipedia user to help me actually make this a page for more people to see and add to?
- You need to provide some context as to who she is. Is she a songwriter? A musician? An activist? Also more articles that describe her career and life, but that aren't coming from her. See WP:ANYBIO and WP:GNG. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:38, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
- Article is in mainspace now. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:36, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Draft Quantum Mmeory
Hi AngusWOOF. Thank you for comment. I have read the reason why you declined my article, but the fact is the article which similar to my draft page names "quantum memory" is the article I have submitted in my sandbox, both of the articles were writing by myself and I did some change for it in the draft page. This is also a work for my university course and this article will be marked. Can you check it again? Thank you very much.
- I tagged it for Educational assignment like the other drafts. It also needs links to other Wikipedia articles, and citations to show notability per WP:GNG. I also redirect Draft:Quantum memory to Draft:Quantum Memory but the eventual article should be labelled "Quantum memory" unless the term is referred to as a proper noun or acronym like QM. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:52, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- TLLB, it looks like you forced this article into mainspace. I tagged it for cleanup and organizing, so please help deal with that so it doesn't read like a research journal article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:38, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Hello AngusWOOF,
I created a draft for Serial Box and it was looked at by you 7 days ago, but was not approved or declined. I would love to hear any feedback so that I may get my article approved and published. Could you take another look whenever you get a second? I really appreciate your assistance. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Serial_Box Sthreadgill (talk) 16:36, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- Sthreadgill, I see that it's been resubmitted, so any AFC reviewer should be able to look at it. I would try to get rid of any advertising tone as that would likely put off reviewers from approving. Also if you can identify WP:THREE key articles that describe the service, that would be helpful. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:53, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
Hi AngusWOOF,

Draft Antonio Lepore
In relation to the draft
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Antonio_Lepore
I wish I could solve the problem that I expose you here.
Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately the situation is very complex.
I tried to insert my contribution on wikipedia italia but the administrators have gone crazy accused me of having defamed someone, of having written something fake etc. etc., I tried to convince that it was not like they said and I asked for help to wikipedia English but they proved to be accomplices of Wikipedia Italy and nobody defended me and nobody removed me the block that became global and on the IP address: 93.34.90.94
You can help me to remove the block of my original Antolepore account and the IP block: 93.34.90.94 so I can insert the text on Wikipedia Italy and then Wikipedia English.
Thank you
- I'm not connected to Italian Wikipedia, so I can't help with that. Perhaps there are some admins that could help? Anyway, it's not helpful to post the Italian version of Lepore's biography on English Wikipedia. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:14, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

Hello there, Can you look at Çağlar Yüksel? I've added the resources by correcting the required error. Thank you in advance--Spentime (talk) 14:50, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
Spentime, I added some feedback on Draft:Çağlar Yüksel. It needs to be clear what were his major roles in major productions. The role in Valley of the Wolves: Ambush is rather confusing as it stands. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:46, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Memory and retention in learning
Hello AngusWOOF, thank you for your previous review, I am currently working on the draft article and I really appreciate your feedback. What specific topic do you advise I try and talk about instead to avoid duplicated information? This specific topic was chosen from Wikipedia requested articles which is why I am confused as to how it already exists. Any feedback would be amazing. Thanks so much! Caitlin
Caitlin.cox1999 (talk) 02:53, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
- Caitlin.cox1999, sorry the previous thread got confused with this one. It looks like the article Memory and retention in learning got put into the mainspace by RoySmith, so I would just try to structure the headers to be similar to the other memory articles so that it doesn't read like a research journal article. Request on 19:48:22, 3 June 2019 for assistance on AfC submission by Smithryanallen
Hi, there are numerous citations from news articles on a page you reviewed and said it lacks citations. Can you help me understand? It was the R Dub! page. Thanks. Smithryanallen (talk) 19:48, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
Smithryanallen (talk) 19:48, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
- Smithryanallen see WP:PRIMARY. Sources should be independent of the subject. So you need mostly news articles. Also please show how the artist meets WP:MUSICBIO Has he charted on any notable Billboard charts? Has he won any major awards? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:50, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. I spent time gathering awards information after seeing the Wikipedia standards, and these were added. News sources have been cited and cleaned up to show this isn't just pulled from a personal blog etc. Thanks. Smithryanallen (talk) 19:48, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
Smithryanallen, see my response on the draft. There are a bunch of citations but they are coming mainly from his own media groups / radio stations that he is connected to. Are there any other news articles that cover him in detail that are not connected to him? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:58, 10 June 2019 (UTC)

Concerns regarding my draft
I kind of understand why you declined my article. You said that I might be subject to COI. I am the person talking about "Naveen Chandra Lal" The information regarding date of birth and a few more information is not found on sites that I can research, but he is also not anywhere close to my family. Meeting the person gave me an idea that he deserves a wikipedia page. I am not sure if more information could be found regarding his personal life, probably because of him not disclosing them. The fact that there are very little logs about him specifically either than news coverages and journals talking about his acts, and my privilege of having that knowledge about him inspired me to write about him. If it is the false information that wikipedia is nervous about the editing option could be put to allow changes as the page develops. The person who I am talking about is relevant in matters to which organization, news companies and blogs talk about him, but not to a level where he has a biography by another source. To do that, I am creating this page. The person I am talking about doesn't quantify as COI, as I have no relationship with him, either than my awareness that he exists and a little bit background knowledge. My creation of the wikipedia article is to fill this gap that I have the ability to about his public appearance. I would only request an acceptance to the article with information on how to improve so that I can make the article become as close as wikipedia wants it to be :)Abhinavdabeast (talk) 06:59, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
- Abhinavdabeast, how do you know the person's birthday, spouse's name and children's names and birthdays? Are there newspaper articles that specify that? You share the same name as one of his children. You need to find news articles that discuss his career. Do not use company profiles (primary source, self-published). Do not post personal information that you have gathered from interacting with him. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:09, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
I have to ask, was this really the right template? I had a look before deletion, and it was unsourced, OR and not at all mainspace-ish, but since the user was a newbie I thought it in good faith and not at all vandalism. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:53, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
- Gråbergs Gråa Sång, I used the hoax one rather than the vandalism one, but it still maps to G3. I don't see any theories or news articles / journals presented or sourced where they claim Joseph was immaculately conceived, so it was going mainly by the editor's own original research / made up. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:56, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
- Ok. My basic assumption was "probably exists somewhere/doesn't get WP yet". Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 06:18, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Review of Draft: Philippe Dufour
Hello AngusWoof,
Thanks for reviewing the article in such quick manner, very much appreciated.
I want to contribute wikipedia on watchmaking topics more and more so your feedback is invaluable to me. However, I need to understand why it got denied.
You mention "how general public has viewed his career and work" in watch industry especially at this level there is no general public. Only certain experts and collectors notice these people's work thus appreciate. The general public here is collectors who write in forums which I do not think can be shown as reliable sources. People I sourced on the other hand are Journalists and reliable Auction Houses and nytimes article. On notable museum subject, unfortunately all pieces are sold to collectors thus make it impossible to be exhibited at the museum, at least so far. However; the aforementioned auction houses exhibits them during seasons.
I've added couple of more resources. Hope you'll find them worthy.
Have a nice day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dufourp (talk • contribs) 9 June 2019 (UTC)
- Dufourp, yes, the journalists would be the public. It needs more articles that cover Dufour's career and history, not just forum discussions of his work or news announcements of his transactions/auctions. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:21, 10 June 2019 (UTC)

Draft:Poitiers Campus, Sciences Po
Hello AngusWOOF. Please revert the name change of the page. This is not a US university. The European norm is to place the campus name, followed by the university name. For example Royal Holloway, University of London or Balliol College, Oxford.
In France, there are numerous IEP (Instituts d'études politiques). The Paris one, called Sciences Po has six decentralised campuses, including the one in Poitiers. The other IEP are often called Sciences Po Lille, or Sciences Po Grenoble for example. Calling the Poitiers Campus, Sciences Po Poitiers will lead to confusion over its relationship with Sciences Po. Thanks for the other edits, by the way.
Update: Just noticed you've changed it back. Thank you very much!

Thanks! Turbo Achilles (talk) 17 June 2019 —Preceding undated comment added 03:35, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
- You need links to the actual episodes on youtube or a schedule to show title and episodes are being logged. If you can find the season in Media Arts Database, that would be helpful too. Also more sources as to how the ONA series is notable. Same with official website. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:23, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
- Turbo Achilles, I filled in the episode links from the YouTube websites. The videos themselves are viewable only in Japan though but at least those confirm the titles and the release dates. I'm doing this now (reception)
I've just added the ratings but I'm struggling to get it placed properly on the article. This is a very significant album as explained in the notes and in the article itself. I decided to put these through the draft rather than straight into the article space to allow other users to strengthen this before finally accepting it to the article space. - AngusWOOF Thanks again Angus, I'm not as familiar with the coding for the review sections as much but worked really hard on this. I've added some key references now though again, it's the placing of them if you want to kindly amend to make sure it's better placed/written and suited but hopefully, finally this can be moved to the article space as I have worked very hard on this since January. Again, I wanted to put it through the draft rather than straight to the article space as it allows other users to contribute and strengthen it before we move it there however please kindly check it now and if you need to neaten it up before moving to the article space, kindly feel free and thank you also for helping and contributing to this. As I say Wikipedia is a collaborative process so I thank you kindly for neatening it up before moving it to the article space and thank you!! :) Music Editor 2017 (talk) 18:18, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
Your draft of a BitcoinSV article
Hi, and thank you for your effort at creating the draft. I have got a list of WP:IRS that may be of use for the article. Hope you do not mind me editing the draft to replace the claims citing unreliable sources by the claims confirmed by WP:IRS and make some other improvements. Ladislav Mecir, see Talk:Bitcoin_Cash#Should_Bitcoin_SV_have_its_own_article? and also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bitcoin SV. If you can provide reliable sources that will make this independently notable, go for it. But you'll have to convince the Bitcoin community there whether this will make it notable enough for a split. Gum Girl
Hi. take a look at the edit history of author's other books Cloud Boy (page as created [2], Pablo's Inferno (page when created [3]), and at author Rhode Montijo's page when first created: [4]. It looks to me like this is an author aho self-promotes by author logging in, creates newbie-looking pages for his books, himself, makes some other edits, and disappears. It's fairly harmless, I mean, it's not like he's editing to persuade readers that measles vaccines are dangerous. But I wish I hadn't supported him by taking the time to source the page.E.M.Gregory (talk) 18:24, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
- E.M.Gregory, do you know which accounts he used to create the page? We could tag the pages and accounts with COI if they contributed substantial content to those articles and it appears to be influenced heavily by the author. If Fiona is connected to the author, then she could be tagged for that too. Thanks for digging up those critic's reviews links and analysis. Adding that section will help neutralize it. The TNT can be applied to the characters list as well since it is not sourced. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:01, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
- Page Rhode Montijo was created by a short-lived editor who created small number of pages [5] including Big Umbrella and Cloud Boy, thinly sourced pages about 2 books Montijo wrote . Big Umbrella was expanded by a series of short-lived editors with overlapping interests: [6], [7], https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Better_smile&offset=&limit=500&target=Better+smile], [8], [9], [10], [11]. Nocturan Warrior has edited both Cloud Boy [12]], and Big Umbrella [13]. Fireisborn and Wraith 123 have edited Rhode Montijo: [14]. These are two obscure children's books.CoolabahappleE.M.Gregory (talk) 19:45, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
- Here's another short-lived editor [15] creating a page on a book Montijo illustrated Melvin Beederman series, without sources, at the same time the editors above were active. Again using what look like sockpuppets [16], [17].E.M.Gregory (talk) 19:53, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
- At least with Cloud Boy, Coolabahapple added some reviews, but the other comic can be tagged for notability if it doesn't have reliable sources. I can't tell whether those random editors have COI. If the article has detailed critical reviews, some of which could be negative on the material, and if they show up to try to defend or to delete it, then that should surface as potential COI. We can tag those articles as

- hi AngusWOOF, and E.M.Gregory, i added the two reviews kirkus, and PW to Cloud Boy relatively early in my WP editing when i was a bit literal about notability ie. multiple reviews equals two or more, found two therefore okay, nowadays if i could only find two ("trade") reviews i would still add them but might also add my concerns on the talkpage about technically meeting WP:NBOOK but hoping that another editor could add more (i actually have on my lappie a number of ozzie/nz/british kids book articles that i have half started/not finished as i've only found two tradie reviews for them), with Cloud Boy i see Worldcat shows holdings of 150 libraries, and 160 libraries (for spanish/bi-lingual texts) so it could be deemed reasonably "well known" for a 12year old picture book (actually not unexpected when reviewd by kirkus, and PW), anyway dont have an issue if articles are merged/redirected to author page. Coolabahapple (talk) 15:18, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. My concern is that presence in multiple libraries doesn't really imply notability. WP:BKTS. For example, the Katie Kazoo, Switcheroo series takes a big section at the library here, but isn't enough to get its own article so it redirects to Nancy Krulik. But the Kirkus and Publishers Weekly reviews are indeed helpful towards WP:BKCRIT AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:56, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- yep, i agree, i use library holdings as an indication that if there are lots of libraries that have a book there are probably reviews available, if low holdings than unlikely (but not impossible, confession: if i like a book than dig, dig, dig, "dammit there must be reviews somewhere! aaarrggghhhh! oh well, another gem to lappie's not (yet) wikinotable for an article folder" "groan" says my laptop that has numerous files choking up her hard drive.). Review of Draft:Megatron (Nicki Minaj song)
Why are external sources more reliable than the artist's social media? And doesn't waiting for the reception and postponing the article going live defeat the whole purpose of people checking Wikipedia to find out about updates on the song? Genuinely just asking, I'm not properly a wikipedia pro. Artursilva0220 (talk) 16:47, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- Artursilva0220, please read WP:PSTS. If you have the secondary news articles that cover her social media posts then those are preferred. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:50, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- Regarding your histmerge tag, wouldn't this be a case of parallel histories? I had no idea this user was working on a draft because I had never heard of them. Personally I don't really care if the draft is histmerged into the article, but in the past (in some cases) it's been deemed unnecessary if the only user who worked on the other article was the same user who copied their own content into an existing article. Or at least, admins have deemed that to be the case in several previous instances. Ss112 17:36, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- They worked on the draft one first, then decided to delete the information from the draft and put it on the main article as (song). Artursilva0220 indeed fixed up the references per my feedback on the AFC draft and this thread. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:40, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- I understand what happened, but several minutes before, I started the page as a stub. Artursilva0220 then copied their content over my basic layout, so in some cases this is determined to be parallel histories (however, in this case, my one edit after Lichtt's redirect might not be considered much of a substantial history). Ss112 17:47, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- Ah okay, I can remove histmerge then. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:48, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- Oh I'm not that worried if a histmerge does happen. I'd like to consult @Anthony Appleyard: Do you think Megatron (song) and Draft:Megatron (Nicki Minaj song) should be histmerged or are they parallel histories in this case? Ss112 17:50, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- I've also just discovered that the user who made the redirect, Lichtt, was working on material for "Megatron" in their sandbox as well. User:Lichtt/sandbox1. Ss112 17:54, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

- Ah okay, I can remove histmerge then. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:48, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Artursilva0220, AngusWOOF, Ss112, and Lichtt: There does not appear to have been a plain complete cut-and-paste move between any two of these 3 files. Best put a history information at the star of one of tem's talk files. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 19:51, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

declined draft - RED MUSIC
Hi AngusWOOF Regarding my draft for RED MUSIC that you declined: Although you have pointed out that there is a historical association between RED MUSIC and RED Distribution, they are separate entities that serve different business purposes and should be treated separately for wiki purposes. Additionally, RED Distribution is no longer an active entity. RED MUSIC is a newly created record label as of 2017. As the cited Billboard article indicates, RED Distribution's sales team and labels were merged into The Orchard and RED MUSIC was created as a new division of Sony Music.
63.139.228.146 (talk) 20:43, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
- 63.139.228.146, you could rename that article to Red Music as it houses the official website for it, and then Red Distribution would be the former name. There really isn't enough to say about RED Music that isn't already on that article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:12, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
- Red Distribution's article is now renamed to Red Music and covers all Sony / Orchard Red related brands. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:59, 23 June 2019 (UTC)

I need help with that one article
Hi, AgnusWOOF. I noticed that you declined my article "Fitness (band)," because you said that I needed more verifiable, reliable sources. Could you help me find some better sources so I could publish this article? I am still new to editing Wikepedia, so that would be really nice. Thanks :D

Butch Nash
Hello AngusWOOF, you had reviewed my article submission on June 6 for Butch Nash.Draft:Butch_Nash I have sense made revisions and added diverse sources. Kindly requesting you to re-review and approve. As for your question on why he is not mentioned in Minnesota Golden Gophers football, I would love to have my article linked there under the "other notable coaches and players" section and would like to be able to show them this article as a summation of both his career as both an awarded coach and player. Thank you!

- 196.122.250.15, you're still missing the point. You need WP:THREE sources to show he is a notable referee, and not from just one event that does not have a long-lasting impact years later. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:28, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
When I last messaged AldezD
When I last messaged AldezD about an anonymous user's minor edit to Legends of the Hidden Temple, I also informed that user (AldezD) that I've got a Change.org petition going to get Legends back on the air, since we already got a Double Dare reboot last year. From what I remember, the person operating the DeviantArt Facebook page said that I shouldn't be sharing my petition while watching the roll call live video that was shown on one of my final days on Facebook and Instagram. Of the things that Wikipedia isn't, Wikipedia probably isn't a site to be sharing a Change.org petition. And no, I haven't put the link anywhere here.

Hello AngusWOOF, thank you for taking the time to look at the article submission. "Network Neuroscience" and Neural Networks are actually very different things. Network Neuroscience is a new up-and-coming field of neuroscience that was established fairly recently (late 2000's). The first Network Neuroscience journal only began publishing articles in 2017, and textbooks on the topic have been around only since 2012, with new ones published more recently. While neural networks are generally artificial computing mechanisms based on brain networks used to complete powerful computations, network neuroscience is not a classification system or a learning mechanism. Rather network neuroscience is introspective, using graph theory to gain deeper insights into true neuroscientific questions of how we think, how diseases manifest in the brain, how the brain changes throughout development, etc.
Because it is still relatively new in the grand scheme of things, I believe that it deserves a wikipedia page to educate and disambiguate, even though there are plenty of other areas around the web that provide great explanations for this branch of science. I expect the article to expand rapidly once it is on the radar of scientists in this field.
I hope to find a way to introduce this topic to the wikipedia community!
Pnkchd (talk) 15:51, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
- Pnkchd, you need to add the foundation pieces to show the term is mainstream and distinct from neural networks. You need news articles and journals that use the term exclusively. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:39, 26 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi there! Thank you for your comment. I appreciate that the Oppenstein Brothers are covered in passing in the page dedicated to their park. However, don't you think that if a family is relevant enough to have a park named in their honor, they could also have enough relevance to a community to merit a Wikipedia page? The sources I have used are relevant; some of them are from the Kansas City Public Library, and some are shared with the park page. The Oppenstein brothers have done quite a bit of good in Kansas City through their charitable foundation, but their history is largely unknown.
Racheleo97 (talk) 21:01, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
- Racheleo97, if there are detailed news articles that cover the brothers and their history that are not just obituaries, then please cite those. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:07, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
I haven't cited obituaries! I think what you are looking at is the secondary source put together by the Kansas City Public Library's historic documents room.

Review of Soil Science Certification and Licensing
Hello AngusWOOF. Thank you for your review of my draft article, Review of Soil Science Certification and Licensing. I agree that soil science certification is relevant to the Soil Science Society of America article. However, my draft article covers Soil science certification in the US (overseen by the SSSA), soil science licensing in the US (overseen by individual licensing boards for each state that has a licensing program, though tests are administered by the SSSA), and soil science certification in Australia (overseen by Soil Science Australia, which is not affiliated with the SSSA). Therefore, I believe the contents of this article is beyond the scope of the Soil Science Society of America page. In addition, as other countries adopt soil science certification, they too can be added to this Soil Science Certification and Licensing article, and they would also not be affiliated with the Soil Science Society of America. Can you please reconsider your review of this article?
Thank you, ColbyDigsSoil (talk) 15:34, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
- ColbyDigsSoil, thanks for your feedback. I changed up the headers for the draft. Can you put in more references to support each of the sections? Also convert embedded links such as Soil Science Australia into either references or Wikipedia links (if those organizations have articles). AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:10, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
- ColbyDigsSoil, see if you can use this reference to an occupation handbook [18] . Also any more news sources and articles outside of SSSA and SSA would be helpful. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:13, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
