Rugeley Page
Hi, I recently made some small changes to the Rugeley page, and you reverted them despite it just being grammatical fixes, adding links, and adjusting the details of a local event. I'm new to the site and not sure how to restore my edits, so any help would be appreciated; thanks in advance! MollyTrigg (talk) 19:49, 20 April 2023 (UTC) MollyTrigg (talk) 19:49, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- @MollyTrigg: I apologize, the claims you added to the article were supported in the original source, which I failed to check. Entirely my fault. You can re-add them to the article by clicking the "undo" button next to my edit (in the version history, which you access via the "View History" tab. Sorry! Facepalm Edward-Woodrow (talk) 20:08, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- No problem, thanks for the quick reply! MollyTrigg (talk) 20:13, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
CS1 error on Meares Glacier
Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Meares Glacier, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A "missing periodical" error. References show this error when the name of the magazine or journal is not given. Please edit the article to add the name of the magazine/journal to the reference, or use a different citation template. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can (bot)§ion=new report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 00:36, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
A message from 216.4.115.200
The Aibd Farhadi edit was made as the content is inaccurate and cites a blog as the source.
216.4.115.200 (talk) 20:49, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thank-you for the explanation. Regardless, it is helpful if you leave an edit summary, so that other editors- like me- aren't confused by your edits. Edward-Woodrow (talk) 20:52, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
DYK for Balanoglossus gigas
On 9 May 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Balanoglossus gigas, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the acorn worm Balanoglossus gigas gives a strong iodoform-like smell when handled, possibly to ward off predators? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Balanoglossus gigas. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Balanoglossus gigas), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Centipede and its subsidiary articles
Hi, just a note: there was quite an extensive discussion about having the centipede article separately from its subsidiary Orders. This was resolved with an agreement that we did not want to have the Orders discussed in any detail up at Centipede, so it would be very much appreciated if you could respect that decision. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 17:16, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
- My apologies. I suppose I misinterpreted the agreement. Nevertheless, the differences between the two subclasses shouldn't really be adressed at Pleurostigmomorpha, which was an unhelpful stub. Should that content be transferred to Orders of centipedes? Again, it shouldn't be at Pleurostigmomorpha, when it was, it comprised the bulk of the content there. It would make more sense for the differences between the two subclasses to be handled at a parent page, similar to what @Animalparty said during the merger discussion. Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 17:30, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for leading the way
I had trouble earlier trying to create a WP:RSPS shortcut [1] as you recently made [2]. I knew I needed to create a redirect but wasn't sure of what other templates I needed or other steps to take. I looked at your edit history and was glad I could just copy off of you. Cheers. signed, Willondon (talk) 22:10, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Willondon: thank-you... I pretty much copied the template off the other entries though. Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 22:13, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
a government in exile page
Hello dear sir , I am parwiz ahmadi. I seen your edits in Government in exile page. I submitted an article Draft:United states of khorasan. unfortunately other admins do not know much more about a government in exile. this is about several time that several admins declined my submission and asked me that what's a government in exile? I hope you review this article , If it seems to be approved. please approve it
thank you so much for your cooperation Parwiz ahmadi (talk) 18:38, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Parwiz ahmadi:First of all, I am not an admin, merely a volunteer Articles for Creation reviewer. I will leave reviewing your draft to someone with more expertise in the topic area... I only edited Government in exile because I happened to come across a disruptive edit that I removed. Also, to be fair to all draft creators, I won't review submissions on request, but just pick some randomly. Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 20:30, 20 June 2023 (UTC)

On 23 June 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Odontorrhina, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Odontorrhina), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. New page reviewer granted
Hi Edward-Woodrow. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Please check back at WP:PERM in case your user right is time limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
- Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
- If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
- Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. If you can read any languages other than English, please add yourself to the list of new page reviewers with language proficiencies. – Joe (talk) 10:37, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
Good morning, I've asked other users to help me remove the banner of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Omenya, you've put up by correcting the text. They've done what they can, but I don't understand how I can remove the banner. Videke (talk) 17:31, 7 July 2023 (UTC)
