Domodedovo (Russian: Домоде́дово) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located some 37 km south of Moscow. Population: 82,300 (2005 est.)[citation needed]; 54,088 (2002 Census); 55,294 (1989 Census).

Domodedovo was founded in 1900 as a settlement next to a railroad station under the same name. The town was called after a nearby village of Domodedovo, which is known to have existed since 1410. The town was granted town status in 1947. The Domodedovo International Airport is located a few kilometers away from Domodedovo.
