A better image is needed for this page; the current image, "The Cigarette shop (Running home)", (1934), is not appropriate for this artist, who has produced much more recognizable and memorable images than this. An image from the "Alice in Wonderland" series or "Schoolgirl" series would be more suitable. Many of these images would be in the public domain, available from sources such as the NGV or Ballarat Gallery websites.

Charles Blackman is a major Australian artist and should have an entry. I can't see what makes this promotional - I think that assertion needs to be justified.PiCo (talk) 10:06, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
