Surname[edit]

Besides the obvious ("Vera Cruz" is not only the name of a city (maybe several) but also means "True Cross", as in "This sliver of wood is an authentic holy relic, a fragment of the True Cross."), the first evidence i found that bears on his surname is [1], which repeatedly uses the two words as his surname in subsequent references. I'm changing the piping of his Cats accordingly.

Ethnicity and importance[edit]

Why is this individual listed as low on the importance level of Labourproject? This individual's actions preceded that of the much aclaimed Cesar Chavez. Why is he listed in the Mexican-American Wikiproject when he is Filipino American? --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 12:20, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
