The Pueblo Metropolitan Statistical Area is a United States Census Bureau defined Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) located in the Pueblo region of the State of Colorado. The Pueblo Metropolitan Statistical Area is defined as Pueblo County, Colorado. Many consider the Pueblo Metro Area to be the economic hub of south eastern colorado. Due to this some people call Pueblo, Colorado's "second city" even though it is not Colorado's second largest city by population. The Census Bureau estimates that the population was 151,322 in 2005, ranking as the 250th most populous MSA in the United States.[1]

The Pueblo Metropolitan Statistical Area includes the City of Pueblo, the Town of Boone, the Town of Rye, and the unincorporated areas of Pueblo County.
