My name is Courtni Wilerding. I am twenty-four years old and reside in Toronto, Canada, with my brother, William. At the age of five, I was critically injured in a car accident and because of this, am partially deaf in my right ear. Be thankful that Wikipedia is not oral, or else I'd have my troubles. But that's not the case, so I can smile, and don't have to shed any tears. However, to make up for my unfortunate dysfunction, I have 20/20 eye-vision; it is impressive that for every con, there seems to be a pro.

I was born on April 12. You can figure out the year; my age is stated above. My astrological sign is Aries, which means that I burn fiercely, like the colour of fire and flame. However, I'm not really into astrology, but do enjoy reading my horoscope every so often. I never believe them though, because they aren't real, isn't that right? Right. I also enjoy reading fashion magazines on a daily basis, though I don't have any particular favourite.

Some of my pastimes include reading (which must be evident by now), cooking (and baking), gardening, and practicing the piano. I work as a part-time piano teacher and a full-time science and English teacher, although I definitely prefer working as a science teacher. The solar system is always something that has interested me. My favourite planet to study is Saturn, mainly because of its rings (there are fifteen).

I speak English as a native language, and basic French. In late 2006, I will be enrolling in a Spanish class at the University of Toronto; this is my attempt at becoming truly bilingual before I reach the age of fifty, despite the fact that I am not even twenty-five yet. When I reached grade nine many years ago, my interest in expanding my French vocabulary had ceased, however I have always found Spanish to be an intriguing language. Truth be told, I'm surprised I've only enrolled myself in Spanish class now. The Spanish course will last approximately one year.

Favourite films

Weekly iPod Statistics
Year-end positions for 2005.
  1. "Hollaback Girl" (Gwen Stefani)
  2. "What You Waiting For?" (Gwen Stefani)
  3. "Danger Zone" (Gwen Stefani)
  4. "Holiday" (Green Day)
  5. "Give Me Novacaine" (Green Day)
  6. "Cool" (Gwen Stefani)
  7. "Letterbomb" (Green Day)
  8. "Time of Your Life" (Green Day)
  9. "When I Saw You" (Mariah Carey)
  10. "I Caught Fire" (The Used)

My film tastes are bland, and I enjoy only a handful of classics, the majority of them from the 1940s and 1950s. However, there are a limited number of films from the 1970s, 1990s and 2000s that I have spent watching. It appears as though the quality of film-making has declined over the decades. However, that has not stopped me from enjoying the many that exist. Of all the films I have ever seen, my favourites include (with year of release):

Favourite music

Kylie Minogue. A worldwide icon and Europe's biggest-selling solo female performer. A true honour for such an innocent woman. Since her 1988 debut single, an incredibly popular cover version of the dance track "The Loco-Motion", she has placed herself amongst one of the most historical artists in music. Her widely-known sex appeal could also be credited in her rise to fame. My favourite singles of Minogue's include the following: "I Should Be So Lucky", "Better the Devil You Know", "Spinning Around", "Come Into My World", and "I Believe in You". My least favourite Minogue singles are "Did It Again" and "Red Blooded Woman".

I am not like my husband, who solely listens to Madonna; I have a broader range of music interests, most notably (with my favourite singles):

Undoubtedly some of the best musical artists and songs in the history of recorded sound.

My name is William Wilerding. I am eighteen years-old and reside in Toronto, Canada with my sister, Courtni. My features are about as entertaining as a dog learning to yodel; one would grow bored pretty quickly. Unlike my sister, who has an unfortunate ear dysfunction, I possess no harm to my body, though sometimes I feel like a mysterious being is attempting to hammer a nail into my head. Hence the term "headache". I seldom feel this way about Wikipedia too.

I was born on April 10, which makes me two days older than my sister. Then again, we were both born separate years, which makes me a whole lot younger than my sister. A shame for me. I work as an artist supplier and have been attempting to kick-start a career in art for myself; I have failed thus far, but will succeed one day. My favourite fruit is the pear, as it comes in various shapes and sizes. There are a number of pears that loose colour after several months though, so I must remember to consume every last one.

Pastimes of mine include art. Drawing, painting, sketching, art. From the day I was born, I have always found art to be something unusual, interesting, and definitely intriguing. My failures at being accepted into a classy university of art has so far been underwhelming, but perhaps the fact that I'm not out of high school yet could be blamed. I'm almost there...

I speak English as a native language, basic French, and very, very basic Hungarian. In late 2006, along with my sister, I will be enrolling in a Spanish language class at the University of Toronto. It was originally Courtni who wanted to bcome "truly bilingual" before her time, and though I was reluctant in participating in the beginning, I caved in and decided to sign up for it. It is possible that I am making the correct decision, as in the future the language could be useful.

Favourite films

Films? I barely have time to go to a cinema due to my hectic schedule. Okay, fine. I have no hectic schedule, I just never really enjoyed watching movies that much. Courtni is the complete opposite of me, except that she is infatuated with films from the 1940s and 1950s. If I had to choose a favourite film, or favourite films... I'd have quite the trouble. My top five favourites would have to be (with year of release):

Favourite music

Just like my sister, I enjoy music quite a bit. Pop music is my favourite (Gwen Stefani!), however I also enjoy rock and roll and rhythm and blues. Mariah Carey is an excellent vocalist and has blown my mind since she emerged in 1990 with that catchy tune "Vision of Love" (I had a vision of love/ And it was all that you'd given to me). Evanescence is simply excellent with their amazing track "My Immortal" (when you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears), and the Spice Girls have written the best teenage-pop song of the 1990s: "Spice Up Your Life" (colours of the world, spice up your life!). The 1990s and 2000s gave birth to a number of mainstream successes.

I have a few other interests in music, though I don't actually play any instruments. When I found my love in art, it was difficult for me to focus on anything else. I once attempted to play the harmonica though, but found no success echoing in that direction. I also attempted the clarinet.
