Hello, 24.189.168.173. You have new messages at Talk:N (New York City Subway service)#Broadway line north of Canal Street.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Careful...

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on N (New York City Subway service). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Acps110 (talkcontribs) 22:34, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding Disruptive editing. The thread is Disruptive editing by 24.189.168.173. Thank you. Acps110 (talkcontribs) 16:32, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. bodnotbod (talk) 23:40, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page V (New York City Subway service). Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Coasterlover1994 00:02, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to A (New York City Subway service). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 00:10, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Acps110 (talkcontribs) 22:29, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to be having trouble understanding why you are being reverted when you add the phrase "all local stops" to articles such as the R train and V train. Those trains do stop at all local stops, but they also stop at all express stops too. All local stops implies that they skip express stops. Please stop and leave it at all stops. Acps110 (talkcontribs) 22:58, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And he still doesn't.--IGeMiNix (talk) 19:10, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits

Your edits are reverted because all stops means local and express too, also changing making all stops to running local just means you want to edit because you can, not because you are adding info. If you claim to know things, then just leave most pages the way they are and ONLY add things that are necessary, not just to edit because you like it, this is not your site. Also, don't leave notes on a page, it is vandalism.--IGeMiNix (talk) 23:40, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to 57th Street (BMT Broadway Line), did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

Perhaps you should read this. It is a good overview on what Wikipedia is about. You have been here about three months and are not getting it yet. You are frustrating a bunch of editors here. While no editor is more important than another, your conduct leaves much to be desired. Please learn more about what Wikipedia is about as well as what it is not. You obviously have a passion for the New York City Subway and could be a great editor here. Acps110 (talkcontribs) 13:48, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for attempting to harass other users. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. —DoRD (talk) 16:32, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Listen, you cannot continue to make edits such as this one if you want to edit here. You need to slow down and listen to what other editors are telling you and stop becoming so angry when they correct your edits. If this behavior continues after your block expires, you can expect a much longer block next time. —DoRD (talk) 16:40, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome. Usertalk:24.189.168.173 6:45 p.m., September 4, 2010

If you don't like being blocked, you really shouldn't be making edits like this one, and I suggest that you go remove it ASAP. Editors here are expected to behave politely towards one another and edits like that one will earn you another longer block. We want all editors to feel welcome here, but we cannot allow people to attack one another. I'm sorry if you are unhappy with the recent block, but unless your behavior improves right now it will not be your last one.
For the time being, perhaps you would be more comfortable editing one of the many wikis at Wikia.com where often the rules are not so strict as we have here. —DoRD (talk) 23:10, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I only edit stuff thats nesscary. I'm sorry for the rude behavior. I don't want to expact a much longer block the next time. I like Wikipedia. I will never edit stuff until I come up with a nesscary sentence. I seem to think that I edit stuff cuz i feel like it, I don't. And can you talk to Acps110 and IGeMiNix about what I said. I have read one of their talking pages, saying that I edit here cuz I can. I have a passion with the MTA's NYCS in U.S. I know they are still enemies with me but its okay I can enjoy it. But when it is the day we get along, I'm happy to make new friends.

Usertalk:24.189.168.173 7:23 p.m., September 4, 2010

You gotta learn to read,

but until February 22, 2004, when the north tracks reopened, the N was local and the now defunct W was express.

Which means service before 2/22/04, when it says until, it is talking about the service before it. Also you gotta choose whether you want running local along its entire route or making all stops because both are fine but they aren't really worth editing over. --IGeMiNix (talk) 23:49, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. So It means It's talking about service before it. Now I see. So the W run express and the N run local from 7/21/01 to 2/24/04, I ethier choose making all stops or running local along its entire route. Usertalk:24.189.168.173 7:59 p.m., September 4, 2010

Yeah, just choose one and stick with that one, because really it isn't really needed to change what you put before which is fine but just be consistent and stick with one.--IGeMiNix (talk) 00:07, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also with 57th St, please don't change it, when you put all, it changes the meaning as there are weekday N and Q trains that terminate on the express tracks on weekdays. The point of the current wording is to give a general idea of the service that is being provided there.--IGeMiNix (talk) 00:09, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Thank you, I won't change the 57th St page on Broadway line (N, Q, R lines). Usertalk:24.189.168.173 8:11 p.m., September 4, 2010

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to IRT White Plains Road Line. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article.   — Jeff G.  ツ 01:16, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yo about the G, it is N/A because it is like the L as there is only 2 tracks and there is no local and express tracks. --IGeMiNix (talk) 15:58, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You and Accp10 must understand, the MTA made the L train as the L Canarsie Local and the G is G Brooklyn-Queens Crosstown Local. o.o And plus, if a line has like 6-7 or more stations it is considered being a local train. Same thing I told Accp10 after the editor yelled at me. Please also understand this, if a line has two tracks for one service train or 2-3, I read the L train page. It says All trains are local, as the Canarsie line has no express tracks. You said that G's Crosstown line has two tracks with no express or local. And what about the J/Z's Nassau Street line with all 2 tracks in revenue service. J/Z was suspose to be Nassau Street Local. If a line has 6-7 or more stations it is consider being a local train without express tracks and just only 2 tracks. Just like the N train's BMT Astoria Line, with 7 stations although with one center express track except Queensboro Plaza and Astoria - Ditmars Boulevard in Astoria, Queens. --24.189.168.173 (talk) 6:36 p.m., 5 September 2010 (UTC)

It's a shame to two editors, who reverted my constructive edits

You two (Accp10 and IGeminix), what makes you two think that my edits are unnessary just like the one I wrote on the IRT White Plains Road Line. Also, you guys have been ignoring me for no reason. You don't see me ignore your eidtings DO I!!!. D:<

Neither of us reverted you on IRT White Plains Road Line. Check the page history. Acps110 (talkcontribs) 02:26, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive edits

You've just returned from your most recent block, and now we see you adding irrelevant editorial comment to an article. If you ignore the advice you received and continue with disruptive edits, your next block will be for much longer. David Biddulph (talk) 07:53, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WOW!!!! I was saying the right thing on the IRT White Plains Road Line history about the project that is causing the 5 train to etheir stop running express, but you idiot just wanna give me HELLL!!!!! RIGHT!!!????? D:<<<<<

Your editing

Okay, this is really becoming tiresome, but I'll try again to explain some things.

  1. This is an encyclopedia, not a guide to the New York transit system. It is unnecessary to have every tiny bit of information that is available included in our articles.
  2. You have been edit warring with two other editors, one who has been here several years and has made thousands of edits. When they tell you that you're doing something the wrong way you should stop and consider that maybe they're right.
  3. Now, this is what got you blocked before: If you are in a disagreement with someone else, please remember to maintain a civil attitude. This is the right way. This is not. Wikipedia is a collaborative project and uncivil remarks toward and about your fellow editors makes this a difficult place to work.

Now that that's out of the way, it is obvious to me that you are keenly interested in articles about the NYCS and that your intentions are to improve them. Great! We welcome enthusiasm, and there are a couple of suggestions I'd like to make to help you channel that enthusiasm in a positive direction. First, you should think about registering for a full account. It's free and very simple. Second, you should consider entering our Adopt-a-user program, where a patient, experienced user will give you advice and help to guide you along so that you can learn good editing habits and how to avoid conflicts.

So, what'll it be? Working with the system or not being allowed to edit at all? It's your choice. As always, if you have any questions about this or most anything else, feel free to visit my talkpage. —DoRD (talk) 14:17, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well I am going to work with the system and yes I WILL STILL EDIT!!! D:<

Very well. Unfortunately, I see that your disagreeable attitude has continued this morning. As I just told Acps110, I do not want to block you from editing, but I will if I think it's necessary. If another admin sees some of your edits, they may not be so patient with you. Please stop before that happens and read through some of the pages I linked above. —DoRD (talk) 14:30, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

LMAO!!! I looked at your user page about what the girl and you were saying about me. I AM NOT damaging any projects. GOSH!! Why you guys just love starting problems with me. Am I doing anything to personal attack you guys or WHAT!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I tried to make an acount but failed saying Login error Incorrect or missing confirmation code. My password is <blanked>, but still failed (this is why I chose not to make an account rather then becoming a great editor). WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT GIRL ACCP10?????? D:<<<<< IS SHE TRYING TO TAKE CONTROL OF MY LIFE OR WHAT!!!! AND NOW SHES ASKING YOU TO BLOCK WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE!!!! O:<<<<

I'm sorry, but that response is entirely unacceptable, so I have re-blocked this IP for two weeks. —DoRD (talk) 14:51, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and when you create an account, the system sends you an email to which you must respond. If you do not respond within 24 hours, your account is not activated and you will be unable to log in. —DoRD (talk) 14:55, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of two weeks for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. —DoRD (talk) 14:52, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but after that outburst, I have revoked your ability to edit this page as well, and am considering extending the length of your block until you can show that you are more in control of your temper. —DoRD (talk) 15:15, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

G

Once again you cannot say the tracks are local without express tracks, it is the same with the L, it is just called Canarise Local and Crosstown Local because it is not an express service, if anything it should be called Canarise Line and Crosstown Line by the MTA. Also, Acps uses New Lots because New Lots is within East New York and wiki is about being concise and therefore you should use the more precise info instead of the more general info.--IGeMiNix (talk) 00:50, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for explaining to me. I'll stop then. But the 57th St page needs touching though. Some peak direction N trains do terminating there during weekdays times.

By the way, I wonder why Accp10 did'nt explain this to me first? o.e

He is not on lol but yes you can try but please try not to use all trains because as you said peak direction N trains do stop there, so try to work around that wording into a way that explains that most service uses local but not all. Also please sign with the 4~. --IGeMiNix (talk) 01:00, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I wrote most trains use the local tracks. I miss the W and V lines. W train replaced by the N and Q lines in both Queens and Manhattan (the Q express stops at 49th St due to higher ridership and heavy useage, and Q runs express elsewhere in Manhattan until Times Sq - 42 St).

This is in reply to your message.

First, as suggested above, please always sign your talkpage messages by including ~~~~. Otherwise, conversations can be very difficult to follow.
Second, I doubt that any of the other editors, and certainly not myself, want to drive you away from Wikipedia. They want the information to be as correct and accurate as possible and I'm trying to keep the peace and prevent any damage to the project.
While I know practically nothing about NY subways, the other editors to those articles clearly do. You also appear to know quite a bit about the topic. It seems to me that they do not agree with the style or wording of your edits, which leads you to become frustrated or angry. I understand. You believe that your way is better, but simply changing the articles over and over again just leads to more conflict. You really do need to discuss the changes with other editors on the article talk pages. If the other editors agree with your changes, great! If not, you need to accept it and find something else to edit. —DoRD (talk) 16:51, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Accounts

Earlier, you mentioned that you had registered for an account but weren't able to login. If you give me the account name, I can look into the problem, but if you'd prefer to not leave the account name here in public, there is an alternate method. Send an email, from the same email address you tried to register with, to accounts-enwiki-l@lists.wikimedia.org with the username you registered and an explanation of the problem you're having with the account and I or another account creation team member will take a look at it. There are a number of benefits to editing with a registered account, but the one I couldn't live without is the watchlist. —DoRD (talk) 02:22, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Thank you for telling me this. User talk:24.189.168.173 9/22/10 7:21 p.m.

I reverted your edits for two reasons:

1. There are a lot of subway lines that have occasional rush-hour trains that have shorter-than-normal routes, not just the N to 57th Street. Examples include the 1 to Dyckman Street, 7 to 111th Street, F to Kings Highway, J/Z to Broadway Junction, and L to Myrtle - Wyckoff Avenues. We only include normal service, and the N does not normally terminate at 57th Street.

2. We only include information about regular revenue service. No trains regularly run through the connection to the 63rd Street Line from 57th Street. Construction happens all the time and they can cause unused connections or tracks to be used for the duration, including the 4 on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line express tracks, 5 via the South Ferry-Bowling Green Loop, and the M to use the Montague Street Tunnel from Broad Street. The R is not the only line that has used the Broadway-63rd Street connection in the past. The Q also used it for several weekends in 2007 and during the Manhattan Bridge construction in 1995. A shuttle also ran from 21st Street-Queensbridge to 57th Street back in 1998 while the tunnel was rehabilitated.

So rule of thumb, do not include information about shortened rush hour routes or construction information because they happen all the time. And one other thing, stop making fun of User:Acps110. The Legendary Ranger (talk) 12:48, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Be quitet. I was not making fun of Accp10. I though it was her who reverted my edits until Geminx explain to me to read the pages history. Now, I know how to thanks to him. Read through my edits again. That's how smart you feel. SMARTY PANTS! D:< Did I say the R train regulary uses the IND 63rd Street to get to IND Queens Boulevard. There are more reasons, don't try and think that I'm causing problems with anybody including Acp10. I did not made fun of her. Look through my edits. If you think you are the SMART.... Then let me tell you this.

1. Don't try and lie and say I'm making fun of someone.

2. I'll include regular services next time.

3. Don't start problems with me. D:<

Okay fine, I hope you know what to do now, but let me ask you this, why do you keep saying that Acps110 is female? how do you know this? The Legendary Ranger (talk) 23:51, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
