Talk:List of neighborhoods in New Rochelle, New York/Temp1
Appearance
This is a list of neighborhoods and communities within the city of New Rochelle, New York. New Rochelle has at least three significant neighborhoods:
- Residence Park, a largely residential area of historic character,[1] which also includes the main campus of the College of New Rochelle;
- Rochelle Park, another historic neighborhood;
and
- Rochelle Heights, a neighborhood established starting in 1905 on the former estate of George G. Sickles, a Wall Street financier. Plans were developed by New York City architects Mann, MacNellie and Lindeberg, including lots and homes in a wide range of sizes.[2]
The Rochelle Park-Rochelle Heights Historic District which spans two of these neighborhoods was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2005.[3]
