Rollback

(add requestview requests)

This user is usually at the recent changes sections and is willing to do more in counter-vandalism. I am well respected in helping other user's info with representation provided.

Finally, if you think I am not ready yet, possibly close to using the situation, I would be happy to know why, otherwise, I do look forward to Wikipedia's cause, and thank you.

I've fixed the formatting of your request for you since your links went to random other users' contributions, talkpage, etc. Reaper Eternal (talk) 18:34, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please respond to this query first. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 01:05, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I did. I said I spotted them on a STiki preview, but no worries, I said I caught on them I couldn't use the the buttons anyway--GoShow (...............) 04:58, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Basically, I would rather call it a preview it's on the Wikipedia:STiki section called "Download". I downloaded a preview* STiki 2.1 – Current version released 2012-07-18 (902 kB) shown on my Java Documents. I am beginning to be interested in this, and that is why every time I open the preview to see what articles are vandalised and just edited recently just to check on articles and other conditions. Sorry if I called it Java STiki, it just appeared on my Java documents and checked on the neat stuff, thanks, anyway.--GoShow (...............) 05:10, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I modified the above message to be more page friendly -- Cheers, Riley Huntley talk No talkback needed; I'll temporarily watch here. 05:35, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment)The above incident has been clarified on User talk:GoShow and it was done in good faith, so IMO it should not be seen as a hurdle to assign WP:ROLLBACK.--DBigXray 07:09, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Please reapply when you have completed the CVUA course. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:23, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I closely watch a number of pages which have been vandalized, and having rollback rights will make it easier to get rid of vandalism. I have the ability to distinguish obvious spam from legitimate edits, and I understand when the use of rollback is and is not appropriate. I also will soon be running a bot, and if in the event of a problem I'd like to be able to swiftly fix any mistakes. I have 8410 edits, and a GA under my belt. • Jesse V.(talk) 16:16, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm part of the Anti-Vandalism Academy and I have been making great progress there with my excellent mentor, Riley Huntley. I use Twinkle and Stiki to fight vandalism, and rollback rights would be very helpful as well. I was recommended to visit this place by Huntley as well.

Thank you. Activism1234 04:13, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. You only have a total of 34 edits. 200 is the recommended minimum for enrolling at the CVU/A. PLlase apply again when you have graduated and demonstrated sufficient manual vandalism reverts. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:15, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm reviewing this again, there appears to have been a toolserver error. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:18, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Please remember that the rollback tool must only be used for clear cases of blatant vandalism. If you are going to be involved in maintenance work, please make Edit Summaries. Happy patrolling. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:33, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting rollback Jayemd (talk) 05:29, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am Jayemd. I am a member of the Counter-Vandalism Unit and would like to ask for the privilege to receive rollback rights on Wikipedia. I promise to use this to only stop vandalism.

Not done. In view of this and other issues with your contributions, I cannot accord you any rights that require responsible action at this time. Please apply again however, when you have demonstrated at least 6 monts of trouble free editing. I hope you will understand. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:41, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am requesting rollback because I believe that Wikipedia is an amazing website and I am more than willing to help make it even better. Vandalism is, obviously, a problem and I am very concerned by it. I really want to be able to help stop vandalism. And if you think I am not ready yet please let me know. Thanks for reading my request, Thomas85753 (talk) 12:42, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I spend much of my time here on NPP, and reverting vandalism when I find it. I'd like to be able to help out more. I do understand the difference between vandalism and good-faith edits. Thanks. Mr. Vernon (talk) 15:20, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. We don't actually use rollback for correcting mistakes. Please read Wikipedia:Rollback and apply again when you have more experience and done a significant number of manual vandalism reverts. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:04, 24 August 2012 (UTC) .[reply]
Hello! I'm Vogone from the German Wikipedia. I have experiences with the rollback right from dewiki, simplewiki and mediawikiwiki and I want to help fighting against vandalism here, too. Greetings, Vogone (talk) 12:42, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You only have a total of 5 main space edits here on the en.Wiki. Please reapply when you have done a significant number of manual reverts. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:08, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I'm a Wikipedian with 4 years of experience and about 2,000 edits in the English Wikipedia. I have rollback rights on a Russian Wikipedia project. Now I'd like to help to fight vandalism on the English Wikipedia too. Daniel (talk) 16:46, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) I don't see any Anti-Vandalism work on the English Wikipedia, But seeing that you have experience dealing with vandalism on the Russian version of Wikipedia, I think your request should be granted--Anderson (Public) (talk) 22:24, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done – Potorochin has over 5,000 edits if you combine the Russian and English Wikipedias. He already has rollback on the Russian Wikipedia. EdJohnston (talk) 01:19, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've been reviewing edits as well as reviewing newly created articles for awhile. I know the differences between good faith and vandalism/edits and know when it's correct to use rollback. Piandcompany (talk) 02:47, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done. However, please restrict your edit summaries to a summary of what you have done and not for expression of your thoughts or as a means of communicating with other editors. Please use talk pages instead. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:18, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Will try to do. Thanks. Lighthead...KILLS!! 14:34, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am requesting rollback rights for fighting vandalism. I spend most of my time on Wikipedia. I would be happy if you grant me rollback rights.I also want to use anti-vandalism tools like Huggle etc.I am an autoconfirmed user.

(Non-administrator comment) You seem to have very few edits dealing with vandalism. Perhaps it would be beneficial to fight vandalism without rollback for a while to gain experience before you are granted rollback. --Cgtdk (talk) 08:02, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done I appreciate you wanting to help fight vandalism; however, your account does not have enough edits or examples of undoing vandalism to equipt this function at this time, and recent edits like this [2], show you are not yet ready. Please feel free to come back in a couple of months after performing several hundred more edit to familiarize yourself with our various policies and practices. Calmer Waters 21:56, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm requesting rollback at this time per CVUA instructor request. I want to use anti-vandalism programs like Huggle, etc. Guðsþegn (talk) 14:21, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Good luck and remember that if you have any doubt as to whether it is truly vandalism, use the undo with an edit summary. Kindly Calmer Waters 22:19, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Guðsþegn (talk) 23:40, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have been using Lupin's Anti-Vandal Tool. After detecting vandal and such related edits from Lupin's Anti-Vandal Tool I manually perform rollback. I've read the vandal reversion policies. I want to use STiKi. I am very confident that I will use this responsibility positively and with ease.

Apart from using this I am an active editor and I have created a few stubs too. HARSH (talk) 19:21, 28 August 2012 (UTC) HARSH (talk) 19:17, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would like to have the rollback rights because it would help me when I revert vandalism. LZ6387 (talk) 19:31, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done per [3] and the fact that you only have 90 total edits on this encyclopedia and only 5 edits (not including the one used to file this request here), when the last request was declined stating that several hundred more edits were required, since last going on break. Please show that you know how to use the tool and need the tool before requesting it again. We need to see that you have a solid grasps of en-Wikipedia policies and guidelines pertaining to when to utilize rollback and when to not. Kindly Calmer Waters 22:12, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
