Miku Flick/02 (ミクフリック/02) is a 2012 rhythm game created by Sega and Crypton Future Media for the iOS operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The game is a sequel to Miku Flick, a spin-off of the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA series of Vocaloid rhythm games that was released earlier in 2012. Like the original the game primarily makes use of Vocaloids, a series of singing synthesizer software, and the songs created using these vocaloids most notably the virtual-diva Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. The game was released internationally on August 10, 2012, making it the second Project Diva game to be released in English.[1][2]

Gameplay

The game will retain the primary gameplay of its prdecessor whereby the game has 10 tiles, arranged in a 3x3 grid with the middle column having a 4th tile at the bottom. Each of these tiles has a hiragana Lyric on them, when indicated you are required to flick the tile in the indicated direction. The lyrics for each song are given above the tiles, and flow from right to left with a circle on the left. When the indicated lyric reaches the circle, the player must tap the lyric tile and flick it in the indicated direction. Like the original game PVs are pre-rendered with graphics akin to that of Dreamy Theater or Project DIVA Arcade. The game also retains the "PV Mode" where players can watch the PVs of the various songs in the game and "Break the Limit" whereby its an even more extreme version of the game from the original.

Unlike its predecessor though, the game will feature vocaloids other than Hatsune Miku including Kagamine Len, Kagamine Rin and Megurine Luka as well as duet songs whereby two vocaloids would sing together for a song. The game will also include a new "Extreme" difficulty mode, which will provide players with a difficulty between the "Hard" Mode and "Break the Limit" Mode of the original. The game will also provide additional Downloadable Content via the In-App Purchases system that would include new songs and seasonal costumes as well. An additional mode will also be added, known as the "Replay Mode" it allows players to save a replay of their performance and share it with friends.[1]

Modules

The game features a total of 4 Vocaloids (2 downloadable). In addition, the game will also feature support for costumes with additional seasonal costumes to be made available via downloadable content.[1]
