  1. Malawian food crisis start-class, ranked top-importance. This article, as noted on the article page, is currently out-of-date and only has information up to 2005. I plan on updating the article to reflect the changes that have occurred since 2005. I would also like to look more deeply at the food crisis of the early 2000s and expound on the political, social, economic, and agricultural causes and the cultural, health, and policy effects of the food crisis. For more information about my plan to update the article, please look at the talk page of Malawian food crisis. I plan on drawing from scholarly sources (articles from academic journals about the early 2000s food crisis), reports from NGOs (UN, ActionAid, etc.), and some news articles. Although I would, ideally, like to draw from only scholarly sources, not much information is available about the current food crisis beyond news articles and some reports from NGOs. Please let me know if you have any feedback on my proposed edits, or any suggestions as to what other reliable sources I could look at. I am working on this page as part of my work as a Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities minor at Rice University.Avw1 (talk) 15:00, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Healthcare in Malawi start-class, ranked top-importance. I would like to restructure this article and add a number of more specific sections that are clearly articulated and cited. There are a number of scholarly/reliable sources that I would like to draw from, one example is the world fact book for updated data on health indicators. I am a student that is very interested in this topic and am working on this article for a class at Rice University. Any input/guidance is greatly appreciated. A more comprehensive contribution proposal can be found on my user page. Brookeethleen (talk) 00:42, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion needed

The following is a small selection of particularly tiny stubs from Category:Stub-Class Malawi articles. Any text you can add to expand these stubs is greatly appreciated. The aim is to get all of these stubs to Start class articles:
