Kumanovo Municipality

Kumanovo (Macedonian:Куманово) is a municipality in northern Republic of Macedonia. Kumanovo is also the name of the city where the municipal seat is found.
The municipality borders Lipkovo municipality, Ilinden municipality and Aračinovo municipality in the west,Serbia and Montenegro in the north, Sveti Nikole municipality and Petrovec municipality in the south, Staro Nagoričane municipality and Kratovo municipality in the east.
By the 2003 territorial division of the Republic, the rural Orašac municipality was attached to Kumanovo municipality.
