This change is illogical. Four of the members are British, one is Irish. The change is inaccurate and should be reversed. Your reasoning about the constituent countries of the UK is irrelevant. 23:06, 28 November 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.41.39.111 (talk)
The band itself, the actual band, not the members, are British no? They were formed in London. U2 if I remember correctly also has one British member, what are they defined as in their article? I might go check.--Krystaleen01:51, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I assume you are referring to either Adam Clayton or The Edge both of whom were born in Britain. The difference here is that both are considered Irish despite the places of their birth, I can refer you to their own articles and accompanying discussions. This, however, is not the case with Niall Horan. Even were this not true, the notion that a band's "nationality" is different to that of its members based on where it was formed is illogical. If they had met and formed on holiday in Spain, I doubt you would consider them Spanish. 82.141.233.161 (talk) 12:32, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
