  • Backpack Basics, an non-profit organization founded in 2010 by students in the Oxford School District. It's a program that focuses on makeing sure that underprivalaged children in Connecticut get a backpack full of everything they need to go to school and succeed. These children are usually in urban areas where school supplies cannot be afforded. Though expansion is planned to other schools in the East York area, this site was chosen as it addresses an urgent need for child and youth programs in a neighbourhood where over 28% of private households have an incidence of low income (as defined by Statistics Canada).

Through the Junior Cadet Club program, children and youth are encouraged to pursue their goals and passions with confidence, lead healthy and responsible lives and build a career path for the future.

  • JMBACC - Japan MBA Case Competition - The JMBACC is the first MBA business case competition in Tokyo, organized under the leadership of students from the McGill MBA Japan Program, Hitotsubashi University, Aoyama University and other prominent business schools in Japan.
