Re-requesting - the present categorization and usage of Category:Streamliners is the problem! - its name implies all streamliner vehicles, its parent category implies American streamliner trains, its lead description implies North American streamliner trains, its content includes European streamliner trains, and Category:Streamliner motorcycles is presently not a subcat!
NB - not all streamliners are trains - see Category:Streamliner motorcycles & the preceding Category:Streamliner automobiles request. Once Category:Streamliner trains (and the other 'Streamliner' subcats requested above) have been created and populated, Category:Streamliners can then be removed from Category:Passenger rail transportation in the United States and placed in Category:Vehicles by type. 223.205.244.243 (talk) 09:47, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's not even remotely complicated.
Step 1: Category:Streamliners currently has no subcategories. It needs three: Category:Streamliner motorcycles (which already exists), Category:Streamliner automobiles, and Category:Streamliner trains.
Step 2: Category:Streamliner trains needs four subcategories: Category:British streamliner trains, Category:German streamliner trains, Category:Italian streamliner trains, Category:North American streamliner trains.

NB: "three-wheeled" is preferable to "tricycle" as it complements both the parent category and the main Tilting three-wheeler article, whereas "tricycle" is often assumed to refer to three-wheeled (bi)cycles.

  • Reason: Flex/MCT are two detent selections on an Airbus aircraft's autothrottle control which utilize the concept of flex temperature for takeoff. Flex temperature is discussed in the main Wikipedia article, while MCT (maximum continuous thrust) does not have a separate article.
