ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Nahnah4. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Permission to use figure in a book.

Dear Nahnah4,

I am working with Prof. Steven LaValle to help obtain permissions for borrowing figures or pictures in his upcoming book Virtual Reality, to be published by Cambridge University Press. The book is online here:

http://vr.cs.uiuc.edu/

We are hoping to include the pictures of yours (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a8/The_Dress_%28viral_phenomenon%29.png) in this book (Chapter 6, Figure 6.20). Could we please have your permission for this? Thank you. Please contact me at awarkoczewski@yahoo.com

Sincerely,

Adam Warkoczewski — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.8.249.2 (talk) 10:18, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@83.8.249.2: Photo isn't mine, please refer to the file info stated on the file when you access it from the article. The source is cited there, and hence you might want to divert your permission rights questions to them. Thanks! Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 13:29, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there! I saw you put "No Lie" as Dua Lipa's "previous" single on Scared to Be Lonely. That is not her single, it's Sean Paul's. She is only a featured artist. - TheMagnificentist 08:30, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@TheMagnificentist: I'm not sure if you noticed, but even if an artist is featured in the a song, it still counts as theirs and should be added to the chronology. It's the first time I've seen someone approach me over this issue. I think you've gotten it wrong this whole time. You can just search songs that come to your mind with a featured artist too. (Hence, "No Lie" should be added, and Dua Lipa's chronlogy should be added in the infobox for "No Lie".) Thanks! Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 09:03, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
