Hello CASSIOPEIA. I am new to creating wikipedia pages. Is the reason for the requesting the deletion of Dru Bex page due to the references sited? The subject of page does not meet the musician notability and the sources provided (considering the new sources provided) are are primary, marketing and interview piece. To merit a page in Wikipedia, the subject of the article need to meet Wikipedia notability requirement which the support of significant coverage from reliable sources that independent from the subject where verification can be done. Vinay sutradhar Hi, That means you have a paid COI here. Pls go to here and follow the instruction. Please click hide button on the top right of the pink button and see the parameters which you need to fill. Do place this on your talk page, on the article talk page and every edit you do on the affected talk page by indicating in the edit summary prior saving. You would do a dummy edit on the article (just put a empty space) and save the page and indicate "PAID editor here disclosing all the previous edits on this page" before saving. Once you have done all that, pls go to the COI notice board - here and let them know you have declared your PAID CIO in your talk page, article talk page and edit summary by providing the WP:DIFF (URL of the different edit) on the history page. A question

Cwmhiraeth Greetings to you and thank you for the question above. I reviewed the page about ten days ago and moved the page to Masoud Salavati Niasari (additional "i" at the end of "Niasar") as sources indicate Niasari and not Niasar - see [1] and [2]. However, the creator moved the page name back to Niasar. I wrote a message to the creator and waited for a week without reply. I checked unreviewed as the subject name is not the same as what the source claimed and would leave for other patrollers to take a look/review besides me. Cheers. How strange that the creator changed the name back. Had I look at the article's history and the creator's talk page I would have understood your actions and not queried them. I did not realise that unreviewing an article with the page curation tool sent a message to the earlier reviewer. I notice this evening that an enthusiastic reviewer tagged Semicossyphus darwini, the article I had just started, as a stub before I had time to make my second edit! Blackout notices at WP:VPR

None of the blackout notices you've been linking to with the label "Here is the English text of the [language] blackout notice" are actually the English versions. I take it you've been cut-and-pasting from Pigsonthewing's edit here, which actually is?

Also, at least the Hungarian and Slovenian links are just to the front pages of their respective Wikipedias, not to permanent pages, so they won't make sense anymore in a day or two when the banners at the top go away. —Cryptic 23:28, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

it seems to me that you are an active wikipedian and i notify that until the page is properly cited let it be a mainspace article with the info .

let's work on it together and help wikipedia to be a better place.

earlier (when i 1st tried to publish this) u mentioned that to notify some famous persons having the surname. now i did that as well.

the basic problem is that the history of many things aren't discussed on the net and as a part of my initiative i started with wikipedia .

Recent changes

  • WebM video files have smaller file size but still be of the same quality. Creating WebM files will take longer time. [5]
  • The new filters for edit review tools and interface for watchlists will leave beta. This was supposed to already have happened but was delayed. For most wikis this will happen on 9 July. For the rest it will happen on 16 July. [6]
  • Advanced item All wikis now use the Remex parsing library instead of Tidy. This could cause errors. You can help fix the errors. [7]

Problems

  • When you rolled back an edit it could get both the Rollback and Undo tags. This has been fixed. [8]
  • Rollbacks from autopatrolled users were not marked as patrolled. This has been fixed. [9]

Changes later this week

  • When you edit a link in the visual editor there will be two separate buttons to change which page the link goes to (target) or its text (label). [10][11]
  • On the mobile version you can find a link to an editor's contributions from their user page. Now this will work even if they haven't created a user page. [12]
  • When you edit a discussion on the mobile version you sometimes get your signature automatically added. This will now not happen if you have already added a signature manually. This is to avoid double signatures. [13]
  • Structured discussions toolbars will have more style options. [14]
  • Advanced item When you look at Wikimedia code in Gerrit there will be a new interface. It is on by default for new users. This is also true for developers. This is to make it easier to understand what is happening. [15]
  • Recurrent item The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 10 July. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 11 July. It will be on all wikis from 12 July (calendar).
