PTV World is a 24-hour Pakistani English news channel.[1] It is owned by Pakistan Television Corporation. PTV World was launched in 1998 as Pakistan’s first satellite TV channel “PTV-2". In 2007, PTV World was replaced by PTV News. PTV World was re-inaugurated on January 29, 2013 by former president Asif Ali Zardari[2] as an English language TV Channel. PTV is state owned.
