Simple English Luigi article

How come the Simple English Luigi article only has a picture of his emblem to represent him? I think it'd be a better article if an actual photo of him was on there. Mr. Lean 'n' Green (talk) 20:58, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Because the Simple English wiki has stronger fair use guidelines, which means we can not use images that are copyrighted, such as character art. The emblem was created by a user, and is fair use. Blake (Talk·Edits) 22:11, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thanks for clearing that up for me. In that case, can I add personally edit an emblem of Princess Daisy, Yoshi, and maybe a few other articles that don't currently have pictures? Mr. Lean 'n' Green (talk) 16:55, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect first appearance.

Luigi's first appearance was in the 1983 game Mario Bros. for the Game and Watch. This was released in March while the Mario Bros. arcade game was released in July. Who knows which game began development first, but the first publicly released game with Luigi was the Game and Watch game (which is not at all like the Arcade game). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Faladrin (talkcontribs) 15:15, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that on the "Year of Luigi" section, none of the game titles listed are italicized, which I think should be fixed. 74.134.13.42 (talk) 17:14, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article name should be changed to Luigi Mario

Luigi has a last name, it is Mario. Him and Mario Mario are the Super Mario Bros.

The following is a quote from the official Super Mario Bros movie (1993):

Sergeant Simon: Name.

Mario: Mario.

Sergeant Simon: Last name.

Mario: Mario.

Sergeant Simon: And you?

Luigi: Luigi.

Sergeant Simon: Luigi Luigi?

Luigi: No, Luigi Mario.

Sergeant Simon: Okay how many Marios are there between the two of you?

Luigi: Three: Mario Mario and Luigi Mario.

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. The dialouge between the characters were probably more likely intended as a joke, plus, Luigi's brother, Mario's article is not named "Mario Mario."Thissecretperson (talk) 23:45, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article needs update

This article needs to be updated to coincide with Nintendo's official announcement of Luigi's death [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emandudeguyperson (talkcontribs) 02:17, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

References

The Month of Luigi doesn't on November 1st, despite saying so on Luigi's page.

Despite being November, Super Luigi month has continued past the date of November 1st, as the article suggested. The page on Luigi should be updated to state that the event continued through November, or have a similar edit which properly reflects the history of Luigi.
