Ethnicity

Does anyone know her ethnicity? I love her music and I know she is from Sweden but does her parents have Latin Maerican or African roots???64.203.182.109 (talk) 19:23, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Something is wrong in the BIO, it says that born in Sweden and Puerto Rico? where she born? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.200.145.118 (talk) 14:08, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Non-Native Authors

This article has been written by individuals who do not have English as their native tongue. It really needs work.

The section "2011-present: Veritas" is particularly bad, and needs to be completely rewritten by someone with a good knowledge of English. Although it is possible to get the general idea of what is intended, the language used appears awkward, and uses phrases that simply are not common in English (I suspect there has been a straight translation from Swedish word order in parts). In a couple of places, the meaning is obscured by the wording. Skinsmoke (talk) 16:53, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Agnes kick.jpg

Image:Agnes kick.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 02:39, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Agnes champion.jpg

I found Image:Agnes champion.jpg and noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. Someone will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If it was obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If there are other files on this page, consider checking that they have specified their source and are tagged properly, too. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:39, 28 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

the discography

the agnes discography has it's own article! why does it keep being replicated in this one?!Mister sparky (talk) 19:08, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Per the guidelines, a list of albums should be kept in the discography section, not just a link to the discography page. The discography goes into depth and includes release dates, certifications, etc. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 16:19, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Page name

Per WP:UCN, I suggest we move this page to "Agnes (singer)". Her stage name is just Agnes and that is what is printed on all releases. For instance Interscope only lists her as Agnes [1]. Agnes alone is her most commonly used name. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 16:19, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. ..and as such, I think that the instances of her adressed only by her surname "Carlsson" should be changed to "Agnes". -- Henriok (talk) 00:31, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Agnes Carlsson

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Agnes Carlsson's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "belgium":

  • From Release Me (Agnes song): "Release Me Belgian Chart position". ultratop.be. Retrieved 2009-05-31.
  • From On and On (song): "On and On in Belgian (WA) charts". ultratop.be. Retrieved 02-11-2009. {{cite web}}: Check date values in: |accessdate= (help)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:22, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 22 January 2020

Agnes CarlssonAgnes (singer) – I suggest this page be moved and a disambig hatnote is provided for by songs from other articles who also goes by "Agnes" because of the evident difference in popularity. Due to recent notable awards and listings and more people will be Google searching for the terms "agnes" and "agnes singer" and will not be getting any hits because the singer is very rarely referred to by "Agnes Carlsson".-- Happypillsjr 03:51, 22 January 2020 (UTC) Relisting. ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 09:18, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Support per nom and for the same reasons I had 10 years ago. Grk1011 (talk) 14:13, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 20:55, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Support move to Agnes (Swedish singer) because only refer her as Agnes (singer) would cause with Agnes Monica (Now Agnezmo) a Indonesian singer which commonly also known as Agnes.
